U forgot to mention that in the skull island movie Kong was said to be smaller than he was supposed to be. Meaning the one on skull island is actually a toddler version of Kong. That's why he suddenly appears so big in the new movie.
The only reason he grew that big, after the events of kong skull island, is because he was too stressed. Stress is something that can make things not grow as fast, and after killing ramarak, he didn't have a reason to be stressed. Making him grow more. I think if ramarak didn't exist kong would grow way more and surpass godzilla in size by alot.

“The war” wasn’t referring to that specific Godzilla or that specific kong, it was there species that was in a war, you can tell because in the events of skull island kong was a kid, meaning he wasn’t alive during that war or big enough to take on Godzilla because it’s a ancient war, that Godzilla never lost to kong

That engraving at the start of the movie wasnt depicting a battle with Kong and Legendary Goji, it was the battle between the Godzilla and Kong species. While Legendary Goji did fight in this battle, and survived it as the only one of his species, King Kong wasn't even born at that time. Gojira is milions of years old, however kong is a few thousand, maybe less.

I do think he got the overall idea right, that there was a war between Godzillas and Kongs and perhaps Godzilla's species lost. There's some major points here, though. Godzilla vs Ghidorah, Godzilla vs Kong, Godzilla vs MUTOs Kong and Kong vs Skar King. Which came first? Some of them could've happened during others, as a war against MUTOs and Kongs could explain why there are so few Godzilla's left - potentially only *one,* whereas there was an entire civilization of enslaved Kongs in Hollow Earth. The Hollow Earth is huge though, so perhaps there'll be other Godzillas revealed later in the series. I would definitely like to see Monsterverse lore expanded.
Honestly it was pretty predictable. The majority of the fans knew exactly what would happen. I did. But it still freaking awesome watching it!!! I loved this movie!

Considering Gojira fought King Ghidorah, a being who rivals/is stronger than Gojira, Kong would stand 0 chance against Ghidorah if simple scratches and bites slow him and his skin is softer than Gojira's skin. Plus, Gojira has tougher skin, atomic breath, and allies. Kong has weaker skin and no allies. Sure he is an ape so he is gonna be more intelligent and he can use his arms better but that won't help him against Gojira and his allies.

The only thing you got wrong was how Mecha-Godzilla played a role. He wasn't pretending to be Zilla, but he was the reason Zilla was acting up, and ended up being the real big bad (only after we got sufficient monke v lizard action, thankfully). Proved to be an actually solid threat too.
Like what zilla said, his ancestors broke off a piece of Zilla's spinal spike fins and refurbished it into an axe. Or an ascendant of Zilla at least. That allowed them, albiet unsucessfully, absorb the radiation blasts from zilla and then empower the weapon to use against him. Like fighting fire with fire, only this time it is radiation.
It’s nice to know that Kong is still pretty small compared to Godzilla, and that scene where Kong was eye level to Godzilla, he was actually on his tip-toes and Godzilla was in a sort of crouching position
Some friends and I have actually theorized that the Godzilla in the trailers is actually MechaGodzilla because of one simple detail. Whenever Godzilla roars, his jaw practically unhinges, but in the trailers, his jaw lowers at a much more tame amount than usual. We thought that this was because MechaGodzilla's jaw is physically unable to open as far as Godzilla's would because if it were, it could possibly ruin the illusion of it looking like Godzilla.
I don't think it's mecha Godzilla cuz speaking from the film makers' point of view, most people would just be mad and rage bout getting their money back leading to huge amounts of loss to the box office Edit: And we already saw Mecha Godzilla in the reflection of godzilla's eyes in one of the TV spots

Scaling that up to a full length, it would have been around 12-15m long.This implies that all life there is much bigger then normal as a rule, and since Kong is then kept in a cage where he has provided food, and no need to fight he would grow much faster then in the wild, and captive animals tend to be bigger then wild so it makes sense.His parents were around 200 feet tall so he definitely was gonna be bigger.

Not exactly. Mecha Godzilla wasn’t pretending to be Godzilla at all, he just came at the end. Also, Godzilla did win against Kong, tho they did team up to beat Mecha Godzilla. So not a perfect prediction, but not bad either

Since there are a lot “monke” jokes and the video just said what everyone knew... I want to do a serious and real theory: ⭕️The movie is “Godzilla vs Kong”, and there are 2 sides: “Monarch” and “Apex”. What’s REALLY probably happening is that Apex is building Mecha-Godzilla secretly in their bases around the world, Godzilla will sense/feel it and probably attack their HQ. The general public will think that Godzilla has gone mad and “now attacks people”... and who can fight against an Alpha-Titan?, ANOTHER Alpha-Titan, so Kong will probably have the other monsters on check. The director CONFIRMED that there will be a clear winner between Godzilla and Kong (no ties), but, we know that the final boss is Mecha-Godzilla. So, Apex hopes that when the 2 Alphas fight, one of them will die and the other one will be tired and injured, and that’s the perfect time to take him out with Mecha-Godzilla, destroy the rest of the Titans and seem as heroes in front of the world. So, one of them will win (probably Godzilla) and then Kong will help him fight against the real threat: Mecha-Godzilla with Ghidorah’s brain.

They'll fight for like 5 mins through the whole movie 50 mins will go to some random family caught in the fight 10 mins will be them teaming up to fight 1 common enemy.
At first I was like, “yeah Kong fans are dumb, Godzilla’s gonna win”. Then when I saw Kong with that axe, I went, “Ok this is gonna be tougher than I thought.
Honestly they have made them pretty on par. Kong's axe negates Godzilla's BEST offensive weapon and they are both shown to be about the same size and shown to be able to push each other around without much effort and Kong is shown in the trailers to take Godzilla stepping on him (which instant killed Ghidorah) so they are both pretty durable.

I loved Kyle's video too, that was considering there can be something that big considering the monsterverse's "science" like atomic radiation induced growth, but even in monsterverse there is no mention of king kong having atomic energy, but Godzilla does. What Matt here is talking from is perspective of our universe physics.

I do think he got the overall idea right, that there was a war between Godzillas and Kongs and perhaps Godzilla's species lost. There's some major points here, though. Godzilla vs Ghidorah, Godzilla vs Kong, Godzilla vs MUTOs Kong and Kong vs Skar King.
Which came first? Some of them could've happened during others, as a war against MUTOs and Kongs could explain why there are so few Godzilla's left - potentially only *one,* whereas there was an entire civilization of enslaved Kongs in Hollow Earth.
The Hollow Earth is huge though, so perhaps there'll be other Godzillas revealed later in the series. I would definitely like to see Monsterverse lore expanded.

Some friends and I have actually theorized that the Godzilla in the trailers is actually MechaGodzilla because of one simple detail. Whenever Godzilla roars, his jaw practically unhinges, but in the trailers, his jaw lowers at a much more tame amount than usual. We thought that this was because MechaGodzilla's jaw is physically unable to open as far as Godzilla's would because if it were, it could possibly ruin the illusion of it looking like Godzilla.
I don't think it's mecha Godzilla cuz speaking from the film makers' point of view, most people would just be mad and rage bout getting their money back leading to huge amounts of loss to the box office

Honestly they have made them pretty on par. Kong's axe negates Godzilla's BEST offensive weapon and they are both shown to be about the same size and shown to be able to push each other around without much effort and Kong is shown in the trailers to take Godzilla stepping on him (which instant killed Ghidorah) so they are both pretty durable.

I loved Kyle's video too, that was considering there can be something that big considering the monsterverse's "science" like atomic radiation induced growth, but even in monsterverse there is no mention of king kong having atomic energy, but Godzilla does. What Matt here is talking from is perspective of our universe physics.

Yeah but Mat oftentimes will acknowledge the science doesn’t make sense; but then continue on in a sort of “suspension of disbelief” way and explain things beyond just the science. I wish Kyle would go into the lore some too and not just focus on the science only
