🔱 The Unstoppable Leerfish | A Spearfishing Day to Remember 🐟

☀️ Welcome to another exciting spearfishing adventure! Today, I'm diving at a beautiful spot with sandy seabed and vibrant seagrass meadows.
🎯 Starting with some shallow ambushes in the stunning scenery, I soon manage to catch a nice gilthead seabream. Along the journey, I also seize the opportunity to catch some tasty red mullets, including one with a doubleshot!

🐙 Later on, I come across a small octopus and a few grey mullets, but unfortunately, I fail to catch them. However, I do manage to secure a green wrasse and a white seabream with two close shots.
⭐️ The undeniable highlight of the day was encountering a big leerfish. This rare fish appeared as I was ambushing in a promising spot surrounded by nervous small fish. Despite my attempt, my shaft didn’t penetrate the fish, which swam away in shock. The "unstoppable" leerfish appeared to be already injured from a previous encounter with another spearo.
🐚 Finally, I kept a souvenir from this unforgettable day: a beautiful giant tun seashell! The plastic bag I picked up earlier came in handy for clipping it to my buoy.

Spearfishing is prohibited around there, but there are plenty of other spots within an hour's drive.

And where i can see a map where is forbidden to speardive? On google I didn’t find anything..

I would enjoy it if you would sharpen your shaft and stop injuring fish for no reason...
Thanks for your comment. Totally agree! After that session, I changed the rubber bands and sharpened the shaft. Lesson learned! 👍🏼
