The great thing about the songs that Dan Vasc touches on is that he embodies them excellently with his voice, gestures and facial expressions. It's the same way to enjoy the songs with your eyes closed, with the images in your head ❤

This dark, iconic song is from Metallica, one of my favorite METAL bands, and Dan does well to show his sinister face. 🤘

There are no superlatives grand enough to describe Dan's voice and the performances he gives us! For anyone who may be interested, Dan's heavy metal band Fearless is apparently releasing new music soon. I'm basing this assumption on a recent post by a sound/recording engineer talking about putting final touches on Fearless recordings and since Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom has been available for a while this makes sense. I will definitely be checking all of Dan's sites for updates!

We mostly get from Dan what he wants to show us in his renditions, and sometimes he shows us a bad guy. But he is a good guy, in the end.

The song wasn't meant to be sung TO children. It was meant to be sung more as a "warning" to parents who insist on either singing or saying scary things (including "Now I lay me down to sleep...") to their children at bedtime. I'm going to put the link to what some of the band had to say about it, in a reply. It's not a YT link, which may make it disappear. Whew. I have to admit that this song gives me the horrors. To me, this song is far worse than The Number of the Beast. We already know that the number of the beast is reckoned as the number of a man and all the 'creepy' that comes with it. We also know that in the end, God Wins. This song highlights adults using their power to terrorise children and I find that far worse than terror from an adult understanding.
