you guys are giving me motivation to finally build my EM1, poor things been sat for around 5 years and I think 2024 is the year I start actually doing things. love the MR colour too, one of the main reasons I bought mine. keep up the great work guys, looking forward to the next one
this re builds are so cool... better than those "full PRL parts on stock Civic/Integra" videos... all 100% the same... this restoration projects are so much more entertaining
I freaking love your channel. It gives me so many ideas and you guys are awesome !Can you guys do a video on your 23 Integra A-spec going over all of the mods that you have currently installed and it’s current dyno?
Not sure if you’ve ever done it before, but doing a shop tour would be sick. I’m at a Honda dealer in eastern Canada and our shop is getting renovations next year, from what I’ve seen in your videos, I think it’s similar to what we will get (in a smaller 8 bay shop)
Why did you guys go with non-adjustable front uppers? Are you planning to run it near stock ride height? and if so why not go with a sport shock and spring set up? And ofcourse as always absolutely impeccable content. Hands down the cleanest and most educated builders on youtube!
We are planning to do a mild drop which expecting the front cambers to stay within factory specification. Also give us a chance to test them and showcase them to you guys as a good OEM alternative since they are discontinued.
@@ahcgarage Ok, I figured you guys were going for a slight drop, thanks for the response! would love to maybe see a detailed dive into hardrace arms compared to standard aftermarket like Moog or API or any others
hey love the content, ive been trying to replace my front knuckles as well but cant find trusted parts where did you pick yours up from i have a 2000 civic ex sedan
Looks so amazing, and I love the build on this. With the coilover suspension and oem style control arms, do youguys think it will reach spec when it's time for the alignment? Just wondering your reasoning for the oe style adjustability in the future.
Great question, we are only planning to do a very mild drop. With that, we are expecting the front cambers should fall within factory limits. Also gives us a chance to test out these OEM style front control arms.
@ahcgarage thanks for the reply! I had seen the rear video and the use of a rear camber adjustable arm, and it just caught me off guard when youguys installed the fronts oem style. But I'd say an 1" or 1.5 should work out just fine.
Hey guys, if im not mistaken the brake line is supposed to go behind the control arm so it kind of comes from behind the arm. I made the mistake of installing them the way yall are doing it and the brake line was rubbing and wearing out.
@@fawzannhakeemfirdaous I ran my brake lines for 2 year the same way they have it routed. the other day I was swapping axles I noticed the line was very worn out from rubbing the control arm. I have the same setup spoon calipers on em1.
Consider putting antiseize on the shanks of all suspension bolts. Those bolts are notorious for seizing to the inner collar of the bushings. NIGHTMARE to remove.
Best Honda team in the US
Thank you
Lotta $$ in this build! I’m doing the same thing just ordered all new oem hardware for the front suspension and subframe and that alone was $400
Good luck with your build 👍🏼👍🏼
Can you share where to buy oem parts?
where you get them

I think I’m about to buss 😂😂
Ha!!
Can you pls. recommend me a shop that could rebuild OEM rack? I need one for my 95 Civic.

Seeing all these fresh Honda parts makes me wanna touch myself.
Same effect for us 😃
What was used to coat the inner fenders black again?
Are those knuckles from integra? Pcd setup 4x100 or 4x114.3?
4x100
where did you get all the oem parts?
What brake pads did you use

It’s actually depends on caliper. Some cars their caliper seat behind rotors, and some cars in front the rotors (just like this car in the video)
It caught my attention too...
……..

@@ahcgarage @26:36 right when the video cuts out/transitions you can see how the line rests against the control arm thats what wears it out.
What is the part number of the dust collector for TYPE R

Where can I get all those parts.?
Next years dragon weapon ?
Just maybe 😄
FYI
Washers have to go BETWEEN KUCKLE and CALIPER. Not between bolt and knuckle...

So, do you guys sell the car after its finish?
She's a keeper
@ahcgarage Indeed, she is 😁
You sure those rotors are 15 inch?
Yes
Hi guys,
Are you planning to sell that car. Please let me know.
Thanks
No plan at the moment
Never tighten bushings in a bind, car should be at normal ride hight.
All of them are hand tightened. We will preload, index the bushings and torque them later on in this series
I figured that, I just wanted confirmation 👍
