This is incredible! I have watched this channel grow for ~4 years now, and I am convinced every single video and project gets better and better! ITS FRICKIN' BEAUTIFUL !!!!
Thanks! Honestly, there was a time we thought about synchroniseing the hands to an actual scrolling text, but we figured it will be nearly impossible 😂. However I'd love it if someone sat down and figuerd what it would say if a keyboard was placed underneath.
@@urituchmanpigeon Well you had the chance to determine the message with the discs. Could have been something along the lines of: "Help I can't stop typing!"
@@newtype2118 I just thought about that and the simpliest way to make it write a message would be to have 10 unique characters, including a space so each finger could have just 1 output. ''I can't stop'' could work well, because if you exclude all the repeating characters (so it looks like I CAN'TSOP) it's exactly 10 characters - 1 for each finger and then it's just a matter of properly timed discs. Love that idea!
This unusual channel by a remarkable young man is a pleasure to watch. The videos are not so frequent, but each isa gem. Thanks Uri. Hope the exhibit is a smashing (er typing?) success!
Ya know, Uri, I would personally love to see a video where you made some custom panels to cover or replace the blue parts of your new band saw. Maybe some wood with brass accents? Hand engraved? With an upside down pidgeon? or a circular mirror in the middle?
I only found this channel yesterday but what is clearly evident is that Uri has a talent for not just technical skill but also for entertainment,an unarguably very likeable fellow. The whole concept has an instantly addictive quality and would make an excellent tv series.
You need to do thumb rolling machine next, in Finland we have this saying when we are doing nothing "there's nothing to do but roll your thumbs". That looks similar to when praying people cross their fingers but palms are open so your thumbs can orbit eachother.
Uri, I can always count on you to make the most unique items on UA-cam. It is such a joy to watch you create. Thank you for posting this. I hope that you will post some content about the exhibit.
Everything about this channel is perfect, the accent even comes across in text 😂. Best channel on the platform. From now on I will only refer to the platform as instegram.
The bandsaw probably has an over temperature cut out. And, check the blade is not clogged up, cutting hardwood can lead to crust filling the blade notches. Lots of fun!
Of all the creators on this platform you are seriously one of my favorites and possibly one of the most talented people ive ever seen. I hope the exhibit goes well would be really cool if it were to end up becoming a famous art piece.
it's always insane to me how you manage to sculpt incredible things out of single blocks of wood with such ease, like you just made a beautiful realistic hand and it's only like 2 and a half minutes into the video lol
A big “High Five “ for Uri here❗️ I’m amazed and very impressed by his ability to transform parts of old dead tree carcasses into such unique works of art 👍🏼👍🏼❗️
You are the most ingenious talented bush league creator I have ever seen.i say this with great respect for your skill its just you mark such arbitrary stuff, which is awesome.thank you
Uri, I'm sure you hear this all the time, but I'll say it anyway. your engineering skills are obvious, and that's what I love most; your mechanisms are fantastic. But then you take it beyond that to a level I can't touch; you make it all beautiful. Seriously, it's like looking at the automatons of hundreds of years ago. Your craftsmanship is incredible. OK, enough gushing about your abilities. I'll finish by saying, thank you for sharing them :)
Always great to see what you have made. Great video of how you worked out how to make it. Be safe and take care, can't wait to see what you will come up with next....
Mate! I love your work and your beautiful enthusiasm so much. I also love your sense of humor and your tremendous creativity. I think I have a new nickname for you after this video, it is Geppetto, you are giving life to your creation through your passion! Much respect! Great fan!
That is awesome, Uri! I hope that you’ll be able to share video from the exhibition with us. I’m very interested in seeing how this ties into the overall exhibit. Mach Spass!
superb absolutely amasing, you are a very clever man but you are so down to earth, thank you very much for sharing, it was fanscinating to watch. well done
Simply amazing...Congrats!! As a constructive note...if you dovetail the finger joints it will track without side flex, and you will not need most of the hardware.
That wood is BEAUTIFUL! The grain almost mimcs veins & tendons on the back of the hands. Wonder if it could be "programmed" to type out "Morse code" ?! Truly lovely piece with TONS of skills shown. Congratulations on getting a piece in a Museum. That's amazing!
Well, thanks to Uri, I am NEVER going to be able to work on the impression cylinder gripper shaft cam followers of our printing presses without bursting into hysterical laughter EVERY SINGLE TIME now. Thank you, Uri. Thank you.
This is incredible! I have watched this channel grow for ~4 years now, and I am convinced every single video and project gets better and better! ITS FRICKIN' BEAUTIFUL !!!!
Thanks Martin! I appreciate it!
@Uri Tuchman I couldn't agree more, we love your channel and what you do
Uri singlehandedly brings us the coolest projects on UA-cam, hands down. Two thumbs up!
Thanks David!
But he made two hands not just one? :P
If there's someone who deserves to have their creations exhibited at a museum is my man Uri!
Your channel is the culmination of ingenuity, artistry, and technicality. Amazing, beautiful work as always!
You're genuinely one of my favourite creatives out there at the moment. Keep making weird shit!
Uri’s back - and his hand is better! Yay!!!
Beautiful project !
I wonder what these hands would type on a keyboard 😅
Thanks! Honestly, there was a time we thought about synchroniseing the hands to an actual scrolling text, but we figured it will be nearly impossible 😂. However I'd love it if someone sat down and figuerd what it would say if a keyboard was placed underneath.

@FrenchGuyCooking I think they would type Perfect Ramen.

long time Uri, good to see you back
Awesome work Uri. Your editing and cuts are as excellent as your machining skills
you said '9 fingers' and i immediately started checking to see if you had chopped a finger off. Glad to see that is not the case, this is fantastic!
This unusual channel by a remarkable young man is a pleasure to watch. The videos are not so frequent, but each isa gem. Thanks Uri. Hope the exhibit is a smashing (er typing?) success!
Whispers softly “Cam followers…” I’m dying 😅
Ya know, Uri, I would personally love to see a video where you made some custom panels to cover or replace the blue parts of your new band saw. Maybe some wood with brass accents? Hand engraved? With an upside down pidgeon? or a circular mirror in the middle?
I would love to see some glass added in to have a view of any interesting parts while running.
No worries, I got plans for this bandsaw😅
I'm amazed Uri, you absolutely deserve this occasion to shine, I am so Happy for you!
I only found this channel yesterday but what is clearly evident is that Uri has a talent for not just technical skill but also for entertainment,an unarguably very likeable fellow. The whole concept has an instantly addictive quality and would make an excellent tv series.
Your art is so realistic that I was slightly horrified when you started cutting off the fingers.
Very nice work indeed
Yes. And the drilling! The horror!
Good work, I guess :D
Have you considered an amateur career in surgery?
Comment of the year👍
I misread that as "an amateur career in agony"
Gorgeous work, man! Your content is a consistent ray of sunshine. It warms the heart to see time on earth spent in worthwhile pursuits!
Need a 24 hour livestream of the hands typing
That's actually a cool idea! I'll ask the museum if its feasible, but I imagine theres a small chance.
24 years livestream?
‘Ta da!’ Is the global language for ‘I did a thing!’ And you did! 👏

A brilliantly insane project. I would expect nothing less! Nice to see you back after all this time Uri.
absolutely amazing as always - loving the "simplicity" of it. Beautiful work.
Word to the wise: don't buy a bandsaw that repeatedly screams for its release from this mortal coil. Especially it's very mortal motor winding coil.
Uri, you're amazing! I love everything about your projects and your editing and your hilarious songs. You are an absolute inspiration.
thats beautiful
1:20 That "foreshadowing" easter egg is immaculate
You are INSANELY creative. I'm in constant awe of your skill. Thank you for sharing your videos.
Really enjoyed the OnlyCam’s bit with thematic music.
Uri, I can always count on you to make the most unique items on UA-cam. It is such a joy to watch you create. Thank you for posting this. I hope that you will post some content about the exhibit.
I'll try to cover more on Instegram, share stories and such.
Everything about this channel is perfect, the accent even comes across in text 😂. Best channel on the platform.

Thanks!

Absolutely love your enthusiasm!!!
Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
Good to see you back again 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Oh good. One of my favorite UA-cam weirdos is back. Every project you do is both entertaining and inspiring. Puts a smile on my face every time. 😁
Very cool, Uri. I love the sound it makes when it's running. Very peaceful.
I hope you'll be able to post some footage of the full piece on exhibit for tiose of us who won't be able to attend on person!😊
Uri, I absolutely love your work! Your brain is amazing! Thank you for everything you do
A museum is without any doubt the right place for it.
Love it to the Moon and back. I never get bored of your work
It's great work again Uri. So happy to to see you back best of luck with everything coming can't wait to see ill be watching out for your videos.

Nice to see you back Uri; well recuperated: Be extra careful with your magic hands.
it's always insane to me how you manage to sculpt incredible things out of single blocks of wood with such ease, like you just made a beautiful realistic hand and it's only like 2 and a half minutes into the video lol
because he is an Artist who has engineering skills soI guess you could call him an engineering artist?
Excelente trabajo, excelente calidad del contenido. Realmente impresionante, gracias 🇦🇷
A big “High Five “ for Uri here❗️ I’m amazed and very impressed by his ability to transform parts of old dead tree carcasses into such unique works of art 👍🏼👍🏼❗️

Uri you are a GENIUS, brother !!
👏 beautiful work Uri, Thanks for sharing
Compliments!!!! Great project and work!
I am absolutely in love with the whole 17-hundreds and brass theme that is going on. Reminds me of french toast during the rennaisance ...
The result is far beyond my expectations. The fingers movement seems quite natural, but their mechanical origin is maintained. Excellent job!
You're the only you tuber whose video I always looking forward to Uri. Nice work yet again!!
Fun project! You are so skilled and talented!
wow they turned out stunning, such a satisfying mechanism
Always great to see what you have made. Great video of how you worked out how to make it. Be safe and take care, can't wait to see what you will come up with next....
Another masterpiece from Uri Tuchman, great work as always
Gorgeous piece and great video as always. Personally I like the loud obnoxious blue bandsaw, it reminds us we’re alive.
Mate! I love your work and your beautiful enthusiasm so much. I also love your sense of humor and your tremendous creativity. I think I have a new nickname for you after this video, it is Geppetto, you are giving life to your creation through your passion! Much respect! Great fan!

Magnifique.😍
What a wonderful sculpture, very nice to see the whole process =)
Beautiful!
Good luck for the exhibition in June my friend... and for the future. 🙏
Well, thanks to Uri, I am NEVER going to be able to work on the impression cylinder gripper shaft cam followers of our printing presses without bursting into hysterical laughter EVERY SINGLE TIME now. Thank you, Uri. Thank you.
That was fantastic Uri! Thanks for sharing it...
Literally the only person I have ever seen on youtube make actual gags using the CC music libraries, amazing stuff. Cam Followers~
Great job again!!! I really like it. Love you man !👍👍👍
