Hi Arthur! wow! another magnificent plane for your Hangar!! A huge 1700mm Mustang!!! yeah Looking forward to seeing future videos of the Mustang! All the best!
I own one myself. Purchased it off one of my R/C Club Friends. He told me it was just not fast enough for him. He fly's Balls to the wall , throttle to the firewall. I prefer to fly in a majestic scale speed. one of the favorites on my Squadron of 540 R/C Aircraft. Bunnie is one BIG Bird.. Replaced the receiver , the one that was ib it was CR*
Nice unboxing and Nice Red Tail. Disappointed FMS used foam hinges on the aileron, flaps and elevator's, I just received the new FMS 1700mm Corsair today and it's redesigned with clevis's securing the aileron's, flaps and elevators.
Good to see they are shipping again. Horizon still says backorder. I acquired one from someone. Was missing parts. Wing spars and plastic parts. can't wait.
After the last couple years purchasing the 1600mm Spitfire, Corsair, P-38 and FW-190, the logical next purchase was the FMS Giant P-51. Some of the guys at the field with 30+ years in the sport told me- “Wait till FMS comes out with the Version 2”, it’s an 8 year old design.” Being me, I didn’t ask what improvements they would be thinking FMS would make. Ball joints, improved motor/ESC, better landing gear, improved/more dense foam? As always, it’ll be interesting to hear your opinion on it. I don’t think my Flightline Spitfire, Corsair or P-38 had any improvements from the original since their original release. (Landing gear upgrade you could purchase on the P-38 is about it) Can’t wait to hear what your thoughts are. (Once again, I forgot about the Tigercat. Flown 3 times on Maiden Day. It’s the ugly, red headed stepchild of the hangar. Not sure why. Flies great, similar to the P-38, easy to land. And still, banished to the basement)
Yes this last version comes with 360kv motor and new predator ESC 80A and digital metal gear servos, it’s really really nice except the foam hinges and non ball links horns but that will be ok for a warbird (it’s not a 3D plane hey!) 😅
My guess is it’s going to be fun to fly, very stable once it’s trimmed out. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the maiden. My 1600mm FW-190 couldn’t have been more outdated/no improvements, scary landing gear, etc., but it just flies like a dream. Landings are scary, the wing to fuse doesn’t line up perfectly, but in the air it’s just fine.
Yet another superb video Arthur 👍 I have owned this plane for the last couple of years and she flies like a dream mate I have the Mr RC sound system in mine which sounds awsome bud also I have changed the pitch on the props to give her a bit more power 👍
I'm excited for this one! Can't wait for the flight reviews. The hinges aren't something that bother me too much. It's a pain but I have been going through a lot if my planes that only have foam hinges and lightly applying foam tac and blenderm. If I get this one I'd just cut the surfaces and hinge everything. It is a pain, and takes a little time but not really. Once it's done its it's done. Better that than wondering what went wrong. Thanks for the videos!
Haha this weekend I’ll fly it 🥰🥰🥰 buy yours here my friend www.turbines-rc.com/fr/warbirds/2087-fms-p-51-1700mm-pnp-v2-stabilisateur-de-vol-reflex-rouge.html?aff=4
FMS...nice product rcplane friend
Yes always quality with them

Do you know if the engine was the 300KV ? Because they updated with a big 5060-360KV and ESC: 80A Predator

Yes that’s a brand new version of Corsair 🥰
Enjoy man!! It looks really good!!
Thanks my buddy
Sorry I missed the live Arthur. Typical FMS quality plane. Would defiantly cut the foam hinges and replace with some nice CA or Pinned ones. 👍🏻
Yes but I think I won’t do anything for the moment and watch it carefully to see if they torn or not

Yeeeees back again 🤩🤙🏻

Thanks mate ! I will try to keep foam hinges because my rates will be low and won’t affect that hinge so much 😇😇😇
@@ArthurRC Yeah, the 1700 P51 is beautiful, it's not a deal breaker for me at all!
@@sanexup1038 i can’t wait to fly it in the next few days
I wanted to buy it, I'm waiting for your maiden flight :D

@@ArthurRC It's nice big warbird, should fly great :D. I'd like to know your opinion - a comparison to the Spitfire from FlightLine ;)
@@arkadiuszk92 yes you’ll see that 🥰🥰

Oui tout à fait Patou 🤩👌🏻
cockpit does look nice. the pilot looks too small for that size plane. he looks like he's the right size for the 1450mm version
Yes…😏
Se sont trompé, il est tout p'tits le pilote 😂🤣😂
Haha un petit peu oui mais c’est pas déconnant si tu regardes bien dans le vrai le pilote paraît minuscule
Why review such an old plane? Is there an upgrade?
Yes new servos, esc, motor and gyro reflex! It’s also because it’s new in stock at Turbinesrc 🤩
