Get some barbed wire fence and put it across the trail in multiple places. If you come back and it is cut/stretched,put cameras where you put the barbed wire because they will stop the next time they are there to see if there is more. It worked for us

spike the trail, a couple of lengths of 2x1 with nails through it across the trail. vehicle immobilized and with the hassle it causes they wont come back. just put markers infront and behind so you know that its coming up.

We had a lot of damage in our town with trees and power lines down and a lot of the guys in the same trucks came in to help clear trees so the power company could get back on for us if it had not been for the guys we would have gone weeks without power.
