What if we have 2012 2016 servers? Do we have work around

If you have HPE Gen11 servers and need to support Windows Server 2012 or 2016, here are some steps and considerations to explore:
      Check Official Support
      1. HPE Official Compatibility: First, confirm the compatibility of HPE DL380 Gen11 with Windows Server 2012 and 2016 on the [HPE support matrix](support.hpe.com). Typically, new server models may not officially support older OS versions due to drivers and firmware requirements.
      2. Drivers and Firmware: Check for the availability of compatible drivers and firmware for Windows Server 2012 and 2016 on HPE's support site.
      Workarounds
If there is no official support, consider these workarounds:
      1. Custom Drivers:
      - Extract Drivers: Extract the drivers from newer OS versions (e.g., Windows Server 2019/2022) that are supported and attempt to use them with Windows Server 2012/2016.
      - Compatibility Mode: Install drivers in compatibility mode. Right-click on the driver installer, go to Properties -> Compatibility tab, and set it to an older version of Windows.
      2. VMware or Hyper-V:
      - Virtualization: Run Windows Server 2012 or 2016 as virtual machines (VMs) on a host OS that is supported by the HPE DL380 Gen11. For example, use Windows Server 2019/2022 or a compatible version of VMware ESXi as the host OS, and then create VMs for the older OS versions.
      3. Consult HPE Support:
      - HPE Assistance: Contact HPE support directly to inquire about unofficial methods or upcoming updates that might include support for older OS versions.
      4. Third-Party Drivers:
      - Driver Sites: Search for third-party driver repositories that may have compatible drivers for the hardware components of the HPE DL380 Gen11.
      Long-Term Considerations
      1. Plan for Upgrades: Start planning to upgrade your OS to a version that is officially supported by your hardware. Running outdated OS versions can pose security risks and operational challenges.
      2. Use Extended Support:
      - Microsoft ESU: If you must continue using Windows Server 2012/2016, consider Microsoft's Extended Security Updates (ESU) program to keep receiving security updates.
      3. Evaluate Alternatives: Assess alternative hardware solutions that support your existing OS versions without compatibility issues.
