- The prelude to Abandoned Memory, which plays in the first Wily stage of Mega Man 10. This track is very underrated but also really short (probably because it played during an also very short section), so I tried to make it more interesting and less repetitive.
Along the way I noticed as well that this music mashes very well with a track from Persona 5 (King, Queen and Slave, the "Another version" more specifically) so I decided to incorporate the bassline and percussion of that song here too.
I also tried making a solo but I'm really not very good at it, I struggled a lot and had to redo it, but in the end, I don't think it ruined the song so it should be fine.
Finally, to make it even more special, I decided to not just record my screen, but make some pixel-art exclusive for this video, which I'm quite proud of (And yes, it is accurate to the Genesis's limitations!)
Well, I think everything turned out quite nicely so I hope you enjoy it!

If you're paying attention to the song, it really hits you in the feels. I mean, Mega Man just had to defeat 8 robot masters that were only causing harm because of Roboenza, it wasn't their doing. Not only that, but Roll just gave Mega Man the only cure to Roboenza. This song is a "sit and think" moment, and this remix emulates that incredibly well. Kudos to you my guy.
The tonal whiplash between this part of wily 1 and literally any other part of this game is crazy. I don't know why they did it but I'm happy they did.
For megaman there are a few truely heart breaking moments of anguish in the series where you can tell he's pushing through both sorrow and rage, Ballades sacrifice in MM4GB, Nearly killing Dr.Wily in MM7, Watching rush seemingly die in MM8, And Watching king rip protoman in half in M&B... But this was frankly his darkest moment... knowing if he fails, its the end for everyone, the whole robot race, his family, friends, and to know Wily is behind it... gleefully... This song just hits the chord of inner agony that restrains blinding rage.
And then the following song is called Abandoned Memory. Maybe it was meant to be literal in the sense that he had to abandon his memories for the time being to carry on👀👀

More like Wily's abandoned memories. Rather than make proper Robot Masters for the refights in this stage, Wily merely saw fit to download their combat patterns into battle drones.
Proof of his absolute disrespect and disregard for those who once served him, over the course of many encounters with Mega Man.

I rarely like fan-made expansions on game songs, but this is absolutely phenomenal. Loved the original tune, but I think this one is superior! Really, really nice job!

Yo, this is amazing. I always loved this underrated song and putting it in the Genesis soundfont only makes it worlds better, especially with the new segments and rain ambience you added.

One of the tracks I think back to the most when it comes to megaman.
It was only after finishing 3 battle network games, most of the X series and a good sort of the classic series that came to 10.
This theme and atmosphere felt so weird and wrong for the classic stuff. I was on the edge of my seat after what Roll did and I wasn’t ready for such a simple and calm gut check

I love this so much, and this is coming from someone who absolutely hates everything about Mega Man 10.
Hearing this music fully realized, makes me think that MM10 was supposed to be the end of the MegaMan Classic series, even had an open-ended ending if I remember but then 11 happened, great game but I hope that they'll give us 12 in the future and have Bass/Forte be the main villain, could make a great final boss fight.

Some of 11's leitmotifs take after Mega Man 3 a bit, and give me the impression that 11 is something of a timeline-out-of-sequence game, sitting between 3 and 4.
@@dragonmangames2523 I'd like to think that too, with the double gear system plot element seeming like something Wily would capitalize on long before Mega Man 10, but Auto's presence sets it firmly after MM6.
@K F So probably something between 7 and 9? The absence of Bass/Forte kind of nags at me, he would have been insistent pn getting the Double Gear put into himself for more power.
Auto's presence wasn't really stuck out in any way until after 6, but he could have been made at a much earlier point and just not known about.
That rain is very loud.
Amazing, I loved the music and the animation, but I won't ignore something that bothers me: although I like Megaman's sprite, I think it's very sparkly in a very dark setting, but that's just my opinion. again, amazing music and animation.(Sorry If my english is not very good)
