    Thank you Sensei! I'm returning to judo after many years, I'm going to be 44 years old and my body hurts more 😬 but we're moving forward after the dream of 1 kyu... I'm on 4 kyu... your videos are excellent! Following here from the south of Brazil...

    Tai in fact is my favorite technique since my youth. Guys must have a lot of practice to make it better. I recommend to pay attention for work of Tori's head: we are similar (a little bit of course) to a snake, our body moves after our head. Therefore, active work of a head and a neck will make this technique more powerful. Greetings for Sensei :-)

    should I grip sleeve or lapel first in randori?

    • @arantxaurrutia0
      @arantxaurrutia0 4 місяці тому

      What you can get first.😅 I prefer having the sleeve, not only for TaiOtoshi, but fot this technique if you have only the sleeve you can execute it one side tai otoshi (sleeve and biceps)

      There are similar ways to execute judo throws like this one without these clothes, which are the wrestling judo throws.
