    1st- wow, that’s an impressive bit of modeling sir! Great job. The overall look is excellent, especially as a Mechanicus asset.
    In general, you always build a nice far ranging selection of FW models- is gives me a good view of many different options. And you make them as they should be- pretty much perfect! Thanks

    I think the Vultarax is my favourite model - something about it is just super fun. I have one and am thinking about getting the Atrapos to display beside it - This was the perfect comparison - Thank you!

    aaah, you got it up first and thanks for a exelent review with alot of tips i will remember when i build mine😉 Yeah we talked alot, and i think this is the best first choice .The weapons is so nicely made and big. And i have to mention the model dosnt look "this is going to be a hell to build" when you open it up. But I lovet hat sexy beast( i got some bad moldus slippiatus )😎 same with Acastus, but i got surprised how little it was on that. it was actualy more on Atropos. But a exelent set😍 regarding quality: i bought for 2 weeks ago or something, and beside some moldus slippiatus it was good quality. Forgeworld will always replace stuff that cant be fixed😉 i payed 180 pounds Leaky😊 first man to get the other 3....haha. have a nice evening mate😎 messy writed, but hopefully people understand😊

      leakycheese off course you will get pictures😎 Off Acastus too. I realy liked those Cerastus-Knights, and I think everyone of them is awesome in their own way.

    The Atrapos was my favorite Knight until they brought out the Porphyrion. The pair look Awesome next to my Reaver and Warhound. I have the same problem with the Warlord that you have with the Reaver. I love the old Titanicus beetle carapaced Warlord.The FW one just does not do it for me. Back in the day, I painted 4 as ladybirds; they looked awesome.
    Do not know if you remember; I asked your advice on what gen of Dark Angels to do my Primaris Marines in. Just to let you know I went for 30k Dark Angels. They look awesome with the Black, red and silver trim.
    Now I just have to repaint my whole 20,000 point Greenie Dark Angel army the same. My Titans and Knights are already in this black and red scheme all I had to do was change the gold trim to silver.
    Great video as always

      +Jori Burton The Porphyrion is a fantastic model without a doubt. I wonder which I would choose if I were deciding between that and a Warhound today?
      On the battle-titans it just goes to show that beauty is in the eye of the beholder I suppose.
      Great choice on the 30K paint scheme for your Legio I, that was what I was going to suggest and I had seen your comment and had been thinking it over believe it or not, I forgot to reply, whoops! I remember now I was trying to find a picture out of RT with the BA advancing to link but hadn't had any success.
      Thanks for watching :)

    Just busy painting my atrapos at the moment. Had it a while. I love it as I think it's the best looking knight.
    I didn't find it axing in 7th edition. Always done well but was very survivable which made it soak up loads of firepower.
    I have yet to play it in 8th edition but hope it does well.

      and GW if I had to make one observation it would be the way you pronounce automata I cringe because all I hear is auto tomato, it may just me but it doesn't sound right. I hope that I have not offended you. I will continue to watch your in-depth analysis of the model design and kit quality as well as rules review.

    • @leakycheese
      @leakycheese  7 років тому +1

      +Peter Osborn Glad you enjoy the reviews. In the interconnected world of UA-cam we get exposed to an enormous number of accents and ways of pronouncing words... something I find quite fascinating.
      I go with the auto-tomato approach as I sits in my mind better; auto-mater just sounds rather rude to me!
      Thanks for watching :)

    yes I agree the head and the carapace armour are the best that FW makes. I do like the chest plate armour also, the once piece is rather nice and it's a good base for transfers and freehand. This by far was my favoret knight from FW by far. I have put together all of the Cerastus Knights and like I said, this one just blew me away. The legs where a nice design, I love both weapons looks, the head is fantastic and looks really 'Mechanicy' if that makes sense and the armour especially the top carapace just blows me away. I can't wait to see the next one they do. I also like the extra Cerastus Knights heads FW have released but still this one is aces.
    Great vid as always and "Lefties is the Besties!"

    I'm a much bigger fan of this aesthetic compared to the stock knight. A little less gooney.

    • @leakycheese
      @leakycheese  7 років тому +2

      Cameron Yes, these are much better proportioned, the standard knight has rather short legs and a pretty rotund body. Thanks for watching :)

      Thanks for the response. Do you ever fiddle around with the Tau models?

    • @leakycheese
      @leakycheese  7 років тому

      +Cameron Tau, gosh not for a long time. Many moons ago I bought the very first original Tau Battleforce boxed set but I sold them off a long time ago. Never bought anything since but I do like the some of the FW battlesuits. The Supremacy Armour would be an awesome build if I ever have £300 lying around.

    I wish they would sell the Mechanicum Cerastus Shoulder pads and leg plates, to give Acherons, Lancers, etc a unified look for a Mech-aligned Knight House

    • @leakycheese
      @leakycheese  7 років тому

      Jsh Pk That would be very cool, the heads they released partially tick that box... they did the House Terryn upgrade part so why not do the Mechanicum as well? We live in hope! Thanks for watching :)

      +Triggered Tycho Cheers buddy! I have done a series covering the entire build process for a Deimos Rhino going from the parts washing to final assembly and everything inbetween so that is worth checking out, all the links are in the description section of this video: ua-cam.com/video/0z3aUhIoJXs/v-deo.html
      If there is anything else you would like me to cover let me know and I'll see what I can do. Obvious candiates are the upcoming Sicaran Punisher or a build review of the Sunfury Plasma Annihilator for the Warlord (a difficult kit!). The tank will get done very soon, the titan weapon is a few weeks off at the earliest.
      I have also done a video where I talked though all my tools collection for resin, plastic and metal models, you can find it in the 'How to' playlist.
      Hope that helps and thanks for watching :)

    I would suggest turning his waist to the left a bit, this will make him a little less static although he is quite dynamic in the way he is posed

    • @leakycheese
      @leakycheese  7 років тому +2

      Nathan Melzer He won't turn anymore, not after all the pinning and epoxy glue!
      No, I very consciously chose to do the pose this way, I wanted it to look like it was driving the Lascutter into a big target with it's body completely behind the weapon and head focused on the target point. This mirrors the specialised and focused nature of this unit in game as well as looking ace.
      If you look carefully you can see how I heat bent the power cables on the weapons so they were hanging more naturally.
      Thanks for watching :)

    • @josephmelzer275
      @josephmelzer275 7 років тому +1

      Yah for sure it looks ace! I like to pretend I am what I'm building, Walk around your living room like a knight titan and check yourself in the mirror. I'm not fucking with you lol you may be able to get a bit more out of the next model. It looks killer as is, this is just that fine arts degree coming out of me, and the nature of wanting to critique things that I like. You'll notice there would probably be a bit more rotation in the waist, but the motion you have all ready pulled out of this model is amazing!

    • @leakycheese

    I actually found the arms off of one of those on eBay a while back, looking at sticking/magnetizing them on to a GW knight chassis. I appreciate the model & tactics review. As far as the Lancer goes, you might want to check out James Taro's store on Etsy: www.etsy.com/people/TaroModelmaker. He's got some rather slick resin addons for knight shields & melee weapons.
