Wow much love from THE K'OTIENOS FAMILY watching from Kenya
Hello from 🇨🇦.🤗
Ever since last week, I've been really excited about this one. I love that they connected the airlift to the Berlin Airlift with the same planes. Also cool to see the McBryan clan celebrating the best things in life: family and community. Love watching this show here and getting the same thrills as when it originally aired.
Thank you to who ever uploads these videos.Rember well the ex Lufthansa C46 and the Electras when they were this side of the pond
This was aired before the Deh Cho Bridge opened in 2012 when the ferry service ended
Yeah the bridge construction is already visible at 1:41
Jump up & down on a Plane Wing, like F%*k. Who would have thought that this kind of thing still happens? Well you do if you run Aircraft that were in WW2, this Programme is brilliant I wish I watched this from the beginning.
Her boyfriend? I know this show is old but the last one I watched she had a different guy lol. RIP Kelly
Kelly died?
WHAAT 😰🤯🤭That 3 that’s passed on this show
@@skataraiceskatingputitdown3437 yup Jim ,Arnie and Kelly
Ya Corporal . Were you in Ottawa in 2021 ? Will take me awhile before i see a Mounty and not get a shiver down my spine .
The new season of ice pilots
Dont hurt the raven, they are super smart and the coolest bird. They live a super long time too :-)
What a good company owned by 1 man and mum looks alright after who's scan for baby dead look pretty happy hope everything works out for you to
Best show ever
Why didn't they use the Lokeed Electias why the DC-4 was unavailable?
"...the DC-4 has no cockpit fuel gauges..." ~8^o If you want to get more antiquated than that, you have to go back to open-air cockpits, and hand-cranked props.
When did they stop using "Fly away" for the intro? This song is just not the same
Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game
Good going for a Rod and Mikey they are dating above their league, good for them.
I just checked Buffalo's website (Dec 2021) to see if they have a jet yet. Not yet! I don't understand why they don't have a 737-200. They sure have some cool planes that never appear on the show. Like a Norseman.
The Norseman has been on the show a few times... like when Joe Flew Bruce Dickenson from Iron Maiden around in it.
The poor shipper Ginnelle running around with frost on her eyelashes trying to make everything work. What a test of humanity the North is. Everyone doing what they can with what the cold deals out.
She'll curse her way through it. What a potty mouth.
I don't understand the raven standoff. Was he daring it to mess with the cargo somehow or just keeping it away by standing there?
Probably keeping it away. You can't leave stuff like groceries or garbage in a pickup bed for even a few minutes or the ravens will steal it. Grocery cargo looks like a smorgasbord to them.
Always love your videos but this one is extra special, the last part of all the family together all so happy about the new baby soon to arrive, brought the emotions out in the old 68 year old New Zealand granddad , thanks so much for sharing those precious family moments.
Cheers from New Zealand
Hey ,is this in 2021????
When was this recorded? Route 3 has had a bridge over the river on the west side of the lake near Providence since about 2013 I believe. Is this an old episode? Or just your standard reality TV fakery?
Someone else commented about 2 weeks ago, saying that this episode aired in 2012, before the bridge opened. However, you can see the bridge being built in this episode. The ferry service ended when the new bridge was completed.
500 bucks for a frigging registration?
When I was ten I flew a C-47 (military DC3) from London to an air base in France. I remember being fascinated by the vibration of the floor. A rivet caught the light and I could tell it was moving in all three dimensions. The heterodyne beat of the difference between left and right engine revs would roll thru like a wave altering the pattern. The DC-3 is on a short list of the greatest A/C ever.
I guess those Lockheed Electras are just stage props now? They would have been a much better choice for the cargo.
Hey, what about the water bomber the Turks "scuffed up"? Weren't they gonna send a repalcement?
Electra uses jet fuel, economic wise they didn't choose it
@@prudhviram1457 Jet A is 30% less expensive than 100LL. The Electra has about 25% larger capacity than the DC-4. A turboprop is *more efficient* (at altitude) than a radial engine. The Electra has excellent STOL characteristics. They are a bit more challenging to fly in certain conditions though, but I didn't see any excessive crabbing on the approach footage they were showing.
My guess is that the relatively short distance dictates lower cruise altitudes and the fuel consumption in lbs./hr. is a wash, so they opted for the plane which has a lower maintenance cost. Or, the two Electras are out of service.
electra doesnt work for those short trips back and forth
Nice episode
No need to know the gender of the baby ... before he cometh forth .... we've done it for thousands of years... :-)
What an incredible group, family, organization.
Al Quiring and Jamie Davis shoulda showed up at 12:56!
The best reality TV series to ever come out, this and Flying Wild Alaska.
I know the Buffalo crew loves the DC-3s .but im a DC-4 man id do anything to fly the magnificent Bird.
Geez looks like hanging a squeegee out the window would be better than those Welfare wipers. Actually what am I saying seeing is for the weak,u must become one with the weather lol
Mike did your dad have any interaction with Bob Reeve? I was across the isle from him Cold Bay to Adak. 74. Sure wish I got him to sign my ticket!
Mikee cant do his job good you need to check before taking other jobs.not i good employés good thing that dady has the compagnies
Mikey is like Chris Griffen grown up. No offence Mikey - you've grown up well.
11:00 think positive - you won't have cooling issues with your freight if it is outside.
I'd a broken that dork's TV and let Joe pay for it...SHELDON?
Buffalo should spend money to buy good planes. Stop trying to use ones that should be in a museum.
Why not use electra
British based law Canadian style, minimum guns, lower crime rates,RCMP, role model for other jurisdictions in North America.
Canadian gun culture is different from the USA. In Canada we use them to hunt. Period.
@@tedsmart5539 you don’t have the same demographics. If you did you would have the same issues
Is it frozen or general, looking outside Id say your generals are frozen.
Best reality show E.V.E.R!
But this I'd staged, like big time !!
Maybe it's time to get some more reliable planes, ehh.....??
They seriously think these old, rickety planes can even make a dent in the volumes of freight northbound? I realize this is a 'mouse versus the giant" scenario for TV but Buffalo doesn't have a very solid reputation with the locals. They would know, not a TV production crew from down south making TV drama.
TRUCKS with wings as an ex trucker these are just trucks
worked in the 60s for NTCL Eldorado Air Ft Smith ''bell rock' Ft Smith Hay River
60 yr old planes and Mikey's surprised by the oil leak? smh
I hate to say it but some of the dramas here seem fake.
These people are really had workers I could never do all this work plus the cold weather.
"My family likes her better than me." I'm not surprised lol.
Would the Electra been a better choice?
True people for wonderful missions
Nicely Work
Congratulations cute baby
First
In business sometime doing the best you can just isn't enough. If you are hauling people or freight you need to know that the planes you need are ready.before you make any promises.
(31:32) "the 4 has no cockpit fuel gauges" What!
I 💖LOVE💖 this show! This is one of the few that I am anxious to watch each week!
Seriously ? The series ended 8 years ago, and you're just seeing it now ??
@@TheAmishElectrican yep! Antenna TV is all I get. I'm too cheap to buy cable TV 📺
These people are soda pop addicts!
Mr baby upcoming pilot
Thank you so much for uploading these once again thank you thank you thank you
Build a bridge already!
Why doesn't Joe get acouple of C-130 surplus aircraft for hauling cargo ?
rocker cover is a part of the pressurize oil system?
look at that the Mcbrayn gathering its so sweet
L rode the farry many times
Ya know this looks bad for us Canadians right? Most of the U.S thinks we all live in igloos now lol 😆😂❤
Nah, I've been to Canada lots of times and I tell people all the time that the hotel I stay in is the biggest igloo I've ever seen!

How about the Electra.
I was thinking the same thing, why didn't they use the Electra
