My Garmin Fenix 7x Pro is probably the best piece of gear I’ve ever used in terms of helping me stay consistent with my runs and lifts. I love the stats, it has some great daily workout recommendations for my training, and the thing just works for a damn long time without charging.

I have the 7S Sapphire Solar. I don't even use the full capability of the device and it helps tremendously. I needed something small with enough longevity to replace my apple watch, so I could go on long weekend hikes or just runs in general. It fit the bill, probably could have gone with something else ... but I also wanted something I could grow into. Needless to say, the best part about the watch is the morning recap and run pace suggestion. Single best piece about it, imho.

Great podcast! Some of my favourite running gear:
    Shorts: Nike Dri-FIT Stride 13cm
Handheld Water Bottle: Orange Mud 21oz
Hydration Pack: Decathlon with 1 Liter bladder and 2 500ml soft flasks
Watch: Garmin Forerunner 965 with Garmin chest strap
Currently struggling with shoes, as my budget doesn't allow for the shoes I want. So doing 95% of my runs in my Hoka Bondi 8 and my faster sessions/races in Nike Pegasus 40s.

Great podcast. For my easy runs, I actually set up a data screen that only shows total time and heart rate. That way I'm not worried about pace at all, and i'm not speeding up just to meet a certain pace.

My usual run is 7-8km. One of the things I did at first was take my car and measure the distance with the odometer, it was useful. For me, the only special thing I use that is my fuel is headphones with good music (and peanut butter granola bar). Greetings from Uruguay!

I found a line of shoes by Newton Running ("Fate" line) that I've been wearing for the last 9 years. A few times the updates gave me some rubbing issues in my Achilles, but they've not really changed anything and they just work. Every time I need new shoes, I buy the previous model year, since they go on sale. I'm on pair number 5 of the Newton Fate 8. THEY JUST WORK! Beware, your calves will take a beating the first time wearing these, but they last for 600-700 miles before breaking down.

    Watch: Garmin forerunner 265
Shoes: Nike invincible 3 as daily training, and easy runs over distance. I keep two pairs in heavy rotation, and get them on sale from Nike for about 120-140 a pair. Retail is normally 180+
    Oakley radar path.
    Nathan hand held water bottle.
Gymshark 4inch running shoes, I use these because they have the little split on the side and they’re cheap and decent quality. No point in spending 50+ for Nike and other expensive brands like Lulu.
I fuel with BPN’s strong greens, BPN creating, BPN salted watermelon electrolytes and G1M sport. I also rock the Garmin HRM pro plus.

Hi, this is kind of funny. We were just talking about this now. I run an ultra middle list running sandals you know a piece of leather with some straps on it cause I just got tired of all this stuff I didn’t want and then you get the latest one every year and you’re spending $200 on a pair of shoes that last 150 miles or whatever, so that’s when I started running in sandals and roads in for trails sandals have big grip soles on them. They do great but as far as the wash that’s hysterical because I had a coach about a year ago first thing he did first time he met me after I put in my time with him he said OK go out run 10k come back 3K out 3K back and give me your watch before you go And I said well how am I gonna know when the 10K was or how fast I’m going and he says learn how to run and he took away from me and I’d come back and he would say well you ran 8 miles or another time you told me you only ran 4 miles. This is funny. He said you gotta learn how to run because you’re gonna be lost without your watch and he was Mr. anti-technology and everything andfabulous Runner qualified for Boston barefoot but he was minimalist to the core and it was a steal, and I learned a lot from him. I think so he made me go dark and Strava good video.

I always have a really tough time with trying shoes because stores stop at 13 and I need a 14/14EE. I like lower drop because if I heel strike my back gets mad at me (previous surgery). I’ve worn a lot of altras which are almost wide enough but the upper is too stiff. My go to on the road is the hoka Clifton 9. I haven’t found anything for trails that won’t kill my pinky toe.
There aren’t a lot of us but I hope that helps a fellow big foot runner

Wondering if BPN products are going to be coming to Canadian stores? I would love to buy supplements from you guys but is it hard to justify paying shipping every time I need to get more protein powder, electrolytes, etc. Like most people I don’t have a ton of extra money to be spending but want to get the best supplements on the market. Even if it was available to purchase on Amazon Canada that would be awesome.
I love the brand and hope to be able to support it more down the line. Just got my Go One More hat in last week! First BPN product! And yes I paid shipping for it, but when you purchase something like a hat it is a one time purchase I don’t mind paying shipping. Just a thought, as I am sure that BPN has a lot of Canadian supporters who would love to have easier access to your products!
