It's a stunning little village right on loch Lomond if you're ever in that area it's worth seeing we loved it and took the little cruise around the loch really helped by hot sunny day
The Scots folk song, "Loch Lomond" is beautiful and would have been more appropriate background music for this video. By the way, interrupting the piper, playing a lament & flying your drone in a graveyard is just terribly bad-manners in ANY culture!
Hi thank you for taking the time to reply. We agree there are far nicer songs, but not all songs are available to be used and most have copyright issues. We didn’t ‘interrupt’ the piper, we happened to be there while he was playing. We flew the drone from the beach and not from the graveyard, and made sure we didn’t fly over any houses to protect their privacy. We know manners of EVERY culture which are just basic things you do everyday, such as to show respect & to be kind. Thank you.
@@countryroadsandblueskies We, like yourselves, love to travel & have been on every continent, except one & have homes on 3 continents (if we're not in any, we lease them, F.O.C., to whoever needs a roof ☺). However, we would never, ever assume to know the manners of EVERY culture, no matter how many times we've visited!! I was puzzled by your reply & wondered why, at this stage, "Loch Lomond" would not be in the "Public Domain". Copyright law usually covers a song, In it's country of origin & most others, to the life of the author/composer + 70 years or fewer &, indeed, it is (in the P. D.)! I only mentioned the lament as, it can appear as just a lovely "happenstance" outsiders. To those of us, with Scot's blood, a piper, playing in a graveyard (the piper's lament) is usually done "In memoriam" & is something counted sacred. Most Scots would even refrain from overlooking this moment! Traditionally, if we'd heard/seen this, we step backwards, not even stopping to watch, & this traditionally includes, man, beast....& drone! In the words of our dear, late friends, Roy Rogers (& his sweet wife, Dale Evans) we wish you both, "Happy Trails"🙂.
Live near to the Loch and disagree, prefect match, some folk are just never happy. I can only assume here as we Scots appreciate others taking the time to promote our villages and Churches which include graveyards.
@@a13xdunlop My mother is a Scot & I quite agree. It was reallly just a personal opinion - there was absolutely NO angst behind the words. However, remembering a man who replied, as I did, to a woman who was really upset about finding a new pest in her garden. I was correct in identifying the bug, he was wrong but he decided to (try to) bully me, over a long period of time as I had given a different answer to his! Therefore, I understand your assuming that the poster of the comment MUST be angry 🙂. P.S. I AM happy, despite being terminally ill & I wish you a day free of "discontent people".

I had so many memories from the past few years here, shame that i can't go back
Oh no! I do hope you can come back and visit this lovely place sometime again, in future. I am glad you have some nice memories to look back on 💕
Why didn’t you go by St. Kessog’s Church and the old cemetery?
We will go there the next time we visit & make a video for you.

I loved seeing my parents resting place. Wish they would have went into the Old churchyard for our other family members. ❤🙏🏼👍🏼
