Hi Miranda, I'm Irish but living in Germany. I'm just starting dot painting and love your videos, they are not only informative but totally relaxing,I think that it is your voice! Looking forward to trying the beautiful white and blue mandala, perfect for this time of year (it's going to snow tonight).
Wow! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop and say hi. Irish living in Germany.. that must be interesting. I'm so glad you're enjoying my videos. I've had a couple friends tell me they use my videos to help them go to sleep ...so I hope it is my voice. Hahahahaha
About to switch from watercolor back to rocks just can't seem to tackle both at the same time. Space is always a concern but so thankful for people who share. Your video's started me doing the rocks and it brings an old lady a lot of joy when so many elderly suffer from depression my life is full. Love this one and know I have screwdrivers (flat-head) in lots of different sizes. Thx from Fresno, CA (the fire burning state)
I hope the fires calm soon. Stay safe!
So beautiful 😍 Victoria BC
Anyone who hasn't heard the HDC now has a Tea light candle holder #1 for sale. I think it is great that we can accurately make TLC holders which will be great for gift giving and Craft Stalls.
You have such a soothing voice and lovely work always. I love watching your tutorials. Thanks for sharing your talent with us ❤
Thank you so much!
Oh this is a beauty! I’m from Gasport, NY. A sweet tiny little Erie Canal hamlet not far from Lake Ontario which is a great rock collecting source! Thanks for sharing your talents with the world!
I love your mandalas. I have done a few of them and I fell in love with doing these. I tried this one, but I was a little shaky, coffee I believe, but it didn't turn out too bad. I'm not going to quit though, you explain everything so well. The swipes are tricky, but they're coming along. Never stop doing what you're doing. It's awesome. Cyndi from Michigan. Thank you
Wonderful! Thank you so much for watching :)
Hello from Florida's central east coast. Melbourne, Fl. I love this design. I will paint it soon!

I love your tutorials!! Today i did my first mandala...it was this one-the winter blues mandala..and although it may have a few chubby petals and a couple stubby swipes...im very very pleased. Thank you so much for teaching. Looking forward to making many more..loved it
Congrats on finishing your first!! That is so exciting. I am so happy to be able to share these. And that they are giving people so much joy! Welcome aboard! Thank you for watching :)
Hi. What a happy little winter design. I love the simplicity of using just 2ish colors. Very nice.
I loved this one! I live in Freedom, NY, but all my kids and grandkids have moved to Florida. (The western NY winters drove them out). This would be a perfect momento from me to them. I can't wait to try.....but I'm brand new at this.
ooohhh...let me know how it goes!! I am veery familiar with New York ....but not Freedom. I drivee through Angola and Buffalo area often. We used to visit the city multiple times a year when I was a child. I understand the winter aversion.lol
Welcome to Dotting. Please feel free to write and ask me questions too if you need. This community can be very helpful as well. I would suggest joing a few Facebook groups for dot art if you are on FB :)
@@MirandaPitrone thank you, I will!
@@MirandaPitrone Freedom is half way between Buffalo and the PA border. The "buckle" of the so-called "snow belt". I've lived here my whole life, so I'm used to it. My kids were smart enough to realize they had options! Lol!
Hi! I’m form Portugal and love your videos!! I’m going to try and make a little canvas with that design 🙂
Hi all the way from the Netherlands!! I've been following your videos and art already for 2 years. I found you here on UA-cam while discovering the beauty of Mandala Dot Painting so as Elspeth McLean presents it and then there you where along with LydiaMay, Kristine Ulrich and Tessa Smith. I've been painting now for a year. I am a first-generation student at the DotPaint Academy here in North Holland where we are getting a 1-year formation in order to start on our own, imparting classes, workshops and make our own start-up business. I have recovered my passion for painting thanks to all the effort you guys make on sharing your knowledge and love for this beautiful and healing art form. Thank you so much!! Lots of love, Patricia from DotZen Art Studio, @dotzen_art_studio.
Wonderful! Thank you so much for watching and for stopping in to say hi! It is such a blessing to hear from the people whose lives we touch! Congratulations on your own adventure! That sounds exciting!
Hi Miranda! Saying Hello fr. N. Illinois & Just got my etcher fr. your shop on amazon! Can't wait to use it on this mandala. beem using a kabob skewer & it works, but the tips wear out pretty fast. I'm painting these on rocks fr. my yard so they take a beating fr.the divets & holes
Awesome! Thank you!
Hi, I'm from Australia. I just love this rock today, simply gorgeous. It may seem minimalistic but it wouldn't be to others who don't paint.I like the HDC #3 mold, it is so cute. It makes for a great size for a small 'thinking of you gift'. Love the flat head screwdriver for petals.
Checkout eBay for screwdriver bits, they come in all shapes. Suggesting the using of a screwdriver has just opened up a whole new form of dotting tools. They are listed in both imperial and metric sizes and you can buy them by the set. I just bought a 48 piece set. They can be small in number or over 100 to the set. If you buy the electronic tools, they are more petit in size for the female hand.
Even those who paint often are finding it more involved than they first thought. I am excited to hear that your creativity got inspired. So many tools so little time...hahah
Hi, beautiful job as usual. I currently live in SC from NYC.
Cheryllynn Alston-Morton hi neighbor, I’m in Ga.
That's a gorgeous stone... as always. I love all your patterns. The screwdriver thing I am definitely going to try as the flat brush thing doesnt like me 😩... oh and I'm in uk 🇬🇧
Thank you! The flat brush takes a bit of practice. Go for the screwdriver it works really well right away :)

Very beautiful! I love the colors. I am going to try dot art. I have been practicing with a few colors. Thanks for sharing 😊
Love this design, beautiful as always! I too have used a screwdriver for petals as well as wooden coffee stirrers and popsicle sticks! All suggested and used by a fellow dot mandala artist that I learned from in the beginning.
Wonderful ideas!! Thank you so much for sharing!!
this is such a lovey art community isn't it?
Love your tutorials. I'm from Littleton, Colorado. Snowy today.

Love it, and I got brave - used the screwdriver & it worked, brilliant! 😃 As always, thank you for sharing, I did mine on an Ornament, so left out the outer pedals, will post a pic on Instagram after dry & can top dot. Thanks again Miranda! 💕 👏 🙏 From Round Rock, TX
Do you use a top coat or sealant spray for your ornaments? I'd really like to see your ornament, can you leave your Instagram handle, please?
@@karariddle8828 sorry, I just saw your message. I posted a picture of the Ornament on Miranda's post on her FB art page. It won't let me put one here. It's not on my IG yet, but mine is MandalasByPamela. I do not seal Ornaments, since they aren't handled much & it can change the look of the Ornaments, varnish/finish issues.
@@karariddle8828 just posted a pic to my Instagram.
Ευχαριστώ
Love the peaceful, calm way you teach, and the awesome results. I made some HDC tea light candle holders and incorporated the screwdriver technique on a couple. I'd love to show it to you. Is there a way to send you a pic? Thanks for your patience :)
What do you advertise these as? Paper weight, nik nak....? You do beautiful work and your voice is very soothing.

Hi! New to painting. The DecoArt Americana paints don't say non-toxic on the bottles....are they non-toxic??
Americana Acrylics are water-based and non-toxic and can be varnished to create various sheens. This acrylic paint can be used on almost any surface.
Thanks!
I have a quick question, i get alot of people who ask me to do rocks or other artwork. I am very very weak it is extremely hard for me to say no to someone. Do you have any advice for not only saying no, but finishing a list of commissions!?!? Thank you God Bless!
Hi, I am from New Zealand. I need lots more practice ☹️
Hello NZ...more practice just means you get to paint more :)

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing the screwdriver tip. I can't wait to try it.

I want to make a spiral on a sawblade that we used to build my new house. Any ideas?
That sounds like a wonderful housewarming present to yourself!! There are some amazing stencils that may help you on your journey. Happy Dotting Company or others on Etsy have spirals.
