In this video I'll take you to the tour inside the House of Charmed and we will see how everything looks like in real life! And also we'll meet and talk to the owners of Halliwell Manor!

Most big scenes were not film at those house they actually built sets. I Worked for the show as a PA and extra had so many fun memories working on that show.
Yeah the set rooms were like 3x the size of the regular house rooms 😅
Exactly. It's very rare when shows film inside the actual houses they choose in random streets, unless they're built for that purpose like certain houses on Colonial street universal studios

I was wondering how you scheduled this tour? I’d love any tips. I moved to the US about 8 years ago but charmed was in my life since my middle school. I saw the exterior of the house but I would love to see it
I was aware that a set was built separately to the house but I had no idea the inside looked the same, nor that there was a second which they also took inspiration from. Thank you! I happened to have a tour of the Harry Potter set before it was opened to the public, and I absolutely understand your joy. Very happy for you to have had this experience. The original Charmed is such an iconic tv show. I hope many of the younger generation take the time to give it a shot :)

The interior of the halliwell in the tv series was not in real house but in the studios, the studio version of the manor is quite similar to the real house
Hi! As the owners told the filming process took place in a real house in the beginning. When producers realixed that TV show is popular tey started making a copy of the interior on studio but continued filming outside scenes at the house 😏
Only some scenes were filmed at the house in the beginning. Then the studio copied as much as possible to keep true to authenticity. It's fun to see the difference.
I think the pilot was done in the real house but when they were picked up it was recreated on a sound stage. But they would use the entrance and the backyard and the front for specific scenes.

My friends took my sister & I to that house, and it’s not too huge in person as it is on TV. My friend took a picture of me standing in front of the house. The rest of the houses in that neighborhood are all Victorian houses. That’s very sweet of the owners of the Charmed house to let you go to the 2 houses where the original Charmed TV show was filmed. You’re so lucky!

It's a historical neighborhood, so they actually have to keep it the same. They won't be able to change much on the outside of the house.

So the Charmed house was a mishmash of two of the houses from this block!!!! That's so cool! And I think the second house had some scenes in the show, there was a housewarming party in it

Charmed was filmed on a set, not in this house. The exterior was used in the show a lot. I did go to the house many years ago. I cried a lot. The characters were my surrogate family when I was going through a difficult time. I definitely adopted this house as my own. ❤

Hello from Saint Petersburg! I cherish the memories of watching the show back in those days on the channel STS. My entire elementary school class was a fan of the series and even acted out various scenes from the series. Thank you for beinging back those memories

Thank god they are nice people. My all time show is breaking bad and the owners scream at people and flick them off just for taking pics of the house from across the street. Not the sidewalk or even in the middle of the road. They actually gated the entire front yard and driveway and put an extra gate where the front connects with the garage wall. This is just a one story house maybe 1400 square feet. Its a blessing to have such nice people who offer to show you the house lol. Thats like every fans dream

the first episode was also recorded in a studio, you can see it on the stairs that are right at the entrance in the real house and somewhere else in the studio and the conservatory can also be seen in the first episode, which was also only in the studio
They didn't film anything inside of the house, only the exterior, and even then, only during the pilot

I visited Halliwell Manor back in 2018 and also saw Michael Jackson's Thriller House 2 doors down. That was incredible. But never seen the inside of these houses. Thank you for the video. Much love from Australia. 🇦🇺🙏🏻
Back in 2014 while visiting LA I went to that very street to check out the house exterior and the little did I know I'd get a tour inside the house as well. It did bring back great memories as Charmed was the show everyone watched in Russia back in the days when it came out.

This would be my dream home. I wonder who will inherit thier house or if CBS will purchase it for tours. Its truly a beautiful voctorian style house. I'm shocked that the attic is in another house though. I would have built it as an add on.

The room where the Book of Shadows was kept was not another bedroom. It was the attic, and its windows were not round, so the attic scenes were not filmed in another house across the street. The show itself also wasn't filmed in the actual house (aside from Prue using her telekinesis to close the front door at the end of the first episode). All scenes were filmed on a soundstage in Los Angeles, which is where this house actually is. The owners of the real house have kept "everything the same" because its literally their home. The show modeled the home of the sisters after the actual house. This includes the staircase, which was replicated and also used on a soundstage. Again, none of what you see on the show was ever filmed in the actual house or any other house for that matter. Only exterior shots of the house and some filming outside of the actual house were used for the show. No scenes were ever filmed in the house or any other house. Everything, including the attic, is a set.
Or you could say, 'I'm glad you had a great time, I just thought I'd add some additional points or highlight a couple of inaccuracies...' instead of probably making her feel like crap

I cannot fully put into words how much I love this house. It is my dream house. I dont like many of the modern houses. This house is so beautiful. From the outside to the inside. It has so much character. If I ever win lotto this is the rype of house I would buy. Gorgeous.

They actually filmed the unaired pilot to the show (the one before they casted Alyssa M. as phoebe) in the actual house and then built the set after the show was picked up.
