    People should have a look at how there using ancient technics in Kenya to green there river banks again and to stop the flood water from going straight to the sea,they build a cement wall that catches the sand and the sand filters and holds the water in and stops it from evaporation,it is transforming the land scape,it's awesome.

    Love it... if everyone did this we would reduce food shortages, we could barter with each other and raise a few chickens, quails ( suitable for suburbs as people don't even know they are there) and ducks. Well done.. G'day from Australia 🦘🐾🐨

    I noticed I have more bumble bees and wasps that pollinate than bees. The wasps get territorial if they think you are taking out their plants too early. The lady bugs get upset if you take out the dead plants they want to wait out the winter in.

It has been very difficult to get people motivated what are your thoughts. We will have a new supervisor soon I want to get him involved. Your motivation inspired me.

    God created and give us the plants and herbs as our medicine and food , God didn't created the Pharmaceuticals and the med schools or Hospitals . If we eat right we shouldn't get sick . our body will have a balance and balance in our body is health.

    I have some suggestions. Employ grey water recovery system in one of the local houses. If done correctly, the water would pose no health health risks either to the plants or humans who consume them. In Germany, city councils provide public lands and buildings for urban bee keepers. Your project would benefit enormously if you could associate with urban bee keepers.

    When I visit Southern CA, I see them supposedly watering the grass and the water is running down the gutters. Grass = useless. Garden = food.

    Unless you have an HOA, LOL

    • @lisamcnorton2136
      @lisamcnorton2136 9 років тому

      ***** Home Owners Association. in my city even the cheapest neighborhood has an HOA that regulates the plants in the common areas and lawns. Or, you can pay a fine, or they can put a lien on your home for the fines. It's a racket.

    • @danielbtwd
      @danielbtwd 8 років тому

      I thought that regarding the right of association, no one may be forced into an association.

    • @lisaleo27
      @lisaleo27 8 років тому

      +Daniel Botwood Here in Las Vegas and I know other communities around the country, if an individual purchases a property that has an HOA, it is mandatory to join as ownership of the property. A person must join and pay dues for the 'upkeep' of common areas, and possibly other items (like pool, trash, etc). In LV, most are just for the common area upkeep and any signage. AND, these are a racket. if you don't pay dues, and other fines, they can levy liens on your home. In 2009 an HOA in KY forced a woman out of her home (who had owned it outright since 2007) the fees were menial like $48/year and she said she did not want to join. The total owed at the time was 288$ and they took her to court. The HOA owns her house, but did not evict her. Just ridiculous.
