I bought the RuggedMade 22 ton splitter. Will it work? Or is the 6-way only for the 37ton model?

A sales rep told me only the 37 ton can push it with efficiency, And I would be disappointed how a 28 ton pushes it as well.
But I'm curious if the 22 ton can split well seasoned wood?
I have yet to see any video...
I just got the 322, and i am so close to just buying a couple cheap axe heads and welding them in to experiment vs the 200$+ on Amazon for the six blade.
There's 2 generations of the 6 blade as well. Earlier version blade tips were angled differently, the top and bottom pieces were towards the centers. 2nd Gen is more efficient.
And I found out there's 2 generations of the 322 (push through) splitter, after the hydrolic manifold was set.
I was wondering why there was more extra parts than I expected. 😆

The 6 way blade is for the 700 series.

@@kristopherfrootloops6714 We are getting good feedback from customers who are using this with DIY machines and splitters from other companies that have a suitably sized main blade. We don't have a list of compatibility by make and model at this time. In some cases, people are modifying their splitter's existing blade to accommodate our slip on.

This six way could use some modifications, it should have the blades staged and it would reduce the needed pressure on the entire system .If you can fabricate, you could make a wedge that would work. I just built an 8 way wedge for my 37 ton ruggedmade ( I have a vid of the build on my channel) The knives are staged in sequence so its not making all of the pieces at the same time, it starts at the bottom and works its way up. This reduces the required tonnage but still makes 8 pieces in one pass. Also my splitter has a different custom built hydraulic wedge design, kind of like a hybrid of an eastonmade in a way , so my wedges lock in place which changes the strength of my design so I'm not afraid to apply force higher on the 8 way.
