In the Manga he actually talked to the slaves and offered them two options: he will try to free them but it might take time or the poison vial he left with them.. the women where so hopeless and didn't trust him that they prefered the poison.. sad that the Anime skipped that (He also ate some parts of them after they died so maybe that's why?) They can mate with Goblin girls but they are not as fertile as Humas and they need to reproduce to recover their losses.. there is also something about human woman being more fun etc mentioned
I mean why would these women trust him, he's part of the group that kidnapped them and made them crepes and, in fact, one of them may be his bio mom, yikes for what we've seen so far, female goblins are rarer than males, and combining the above stated facts that 1 their are killed by the pound since they're low level monsters and 2 female goblins are not that fertile, ye, I can understand why, still yikes
