I've been watching EQS 580 SUV videos for about 6 months now. This is by far the most useful and fun review! The makeup and costume design enhanced the experience. Then you topped it off by being fellow San Diegians! I'm picking up this car on Friday -- can't wait!
This is GREAT !! I rode in an S-Class (sedan) from central London to Heathrow at about 4 in the morning, but it was the most luxurious car I have ever ridden in. I have owned 3 Mercedes (which were new when I bought them), so that quality is not surprising. But the "Opulence" (good word) in the S-Class is over the top. You use "gorgeous" ...which is also apt. I'll be short: this car or it's little brother the EQE are the only cars that have come on the market that would bet me away from my Mach E. But with the tariffs involved...that's not a likely scenario...unless I won the lottery (which I don't have...so even less likely). Anyhow, thanks for introducing us to the "impossible dream."
You can open the hood. The release lever is in the same location as an ICE car, but its behind a little panel you remove then you can release the hood.
I understand the feeling. It would be like going from an efficiency apt. to a mansion. Just because I look good in a suit and tie doesn't mean I feel comfortable in it.
A very interesting vehicle. I would prefer the 450+ over the 580 partly due to the rear wheel drive and better range. The 580 looks too luxurious for my needs. Even with my Mach-E there are features I have not used and a few I forgot about after two plus years of ownership. I prefer heading up for navigation display. I do not see a great advantage to having a wide landscape view of the map. I prefer the portrait display on the MME.
This EV really is a Wowzer, from all the reviews I've seen. For me… I guess I'm too practical and down-to-earth (cheap…?), for it's beyond my tolerance levels, not only in budget, but also in ostentatious luxury and whiz-bang features. Consumers who belong to country clubs will undoubtedly love it… maybe even at Mar-a-Lago…? 🙄🤣 Speaking of which, I doubt they'd let you in there with those fun costumes. 👍 Do you ever take requests? What I'd be interested in seeing is a review of a Hyundai Ioniq 5 Limited AWD and its HDA 2, for your observations and impressions are always perceptive and honest. I'd especially like to hear how its more open front floor accommodates Liv when behind the wheel.
Good content, fine with costumes. But please wash the vehicle before reviewing exterior and while center console before showing it. 😊 Just a suggestion, but I really found the water spots very distracting.

I hope you like it! It's one of the best EVs out there!
The displays and lighting are out of this world!

I saw a Lyric the other day on the road. It looks just as nice as the car review videos

Front vents would help to keep the rotors cooler in city driving
Wow I thought the Tesla middle screen was huge. It's a Rand-McNally book.

Your mom does know that the M-B isn't a birthday gift, right. LOL
Stop, look and listen. Vanilla Ice flashback
Touch screen smudges and OCD don't mix
So it's a EV version of the G class ?
Is the refreshment schedule for the vehicle or its passengers ? LOL
Gesture mode: Does a foam finger pop up for bad drivers ? LOL
You haven't done a video on kyle's Nissan leaf yet.... perhaps you haven't got it now 🤔
Liv finished editing it and it will be out soon!
Great 👍

Liv you look a little horn-y today. LOL
