Hi, I am working on a novel. My sentences are OK but I tend to do a lot of short sentences that make for choppy writing. I build complex sentences too but I am not sure if they are good enough sometimes. Is there any book or website you could offer that deals with sentence structure in creative writing? Thank you.

With my friends I leave out things intentionally. I am getting the idea of wholeness. Compound complex is still hard to identify n write. So DC+ IC. How many clauses ? Was it IC+IC +DC, or DC+IC+IC. There has to be a cause n effect to make an SC correct.
