❤this program, seen some in the past always enjoyed this host. Great program, stunningly beautiful places. Watched in the past because it just takes your breath away with beauty . Thank you for sharing 😊
Love this show so wish I lived out in the country. Thank you for all episode you have on here and keep adding new ones. I loved the 1st house especially with the garden and river passing right by.
I really love kislux bags. The fabric is very good. The golden embellishments add a touch of beauty. When I went to the church, I received some praise.
I love this couple. They are hand-holders. And both have a sense of humour, but especially Wendy. With a quick mind like hers (Mrs Peacock in the library) and her humour, she will be a successful writer. Though I never read anything sinister and dark (hard to imagine laughing Wendy even having a sinister dark thought, I love to read a humorous novel by her.
I have my solid fuel fire going in my front room I cannot afford to have my gas central heating on but if you wear a scarf wrapped around your neck a couple of time and a woollen hat it helps keep you warm 😊. Your all doing amazing hard work there on your renovations . Bless you all this Christmas 🙏
Great collection! I bought my first LV when I was 25 and I've only used that bag a few times haha. Also, I love your clutch! I have an Eva clutch with the DE print and I love the little chain. But I don't want to spend that much money right now and the kislux always gets me the bag I want and it's just as good as the LV and one of my favorites. Durability
Thank you for a recent episode! A question as a Canadian: We would never enter a home and keep our shoes on. With all the white carpets etc, I’m very surprised to see people walking around someone’s home in boots! Is this just for the tv show or is this common in the UK?
Haha, exactly! I can't imagine anyone walking through my home with shoes on, especially wearing muddy ones; it would drive me crazy. Also, many homes in the UK have low ceilings. However, you can't beat their gardens or the countryside-they're absolutely spectacular!
Normally on ground floors you can wear outdoor shoes but you drop them before going upstairs to bedrooms which are still mostly carpeted. Of course some people don't allow shoes at all but some visitors don't like it. After a very short guest pleaded with me to let her keep her shoes on once for a party i was having i relented as she pointed out that the shoes were integral to her party outfit. She had a good point. After that i dropped the no shoes policy. Also it only takes one person to come in shoes by mistake and and you have to mop. For me it's easier to mop from time to time and let guests do whatever makes them relaxed. Each to their own thiugh in the uk as well.
I had a feeling that none of the properties quite did it for them, even if they did like 1 and 3. I'm glad they found their dream home in Devon, though. And Jules has definitely always been my favourite too.
Yea - that's more like it! I don't think Burrowbridge would have suited them - can be cold & bleak and damp in winter... Hope they are enjoying Devon & they didn't find it too hectic in the summer.
As for shoes in the house, I just tell people "this is a dog house so leave your shoes on". But I take my shoes off in other people's homes, after all, this is Vancouver and our shoes are usually wet.
The best anti pollution solution friends, get out from the crowded urban areas and start to breathe again, everybody enjoy the alternative way of life, which is just.. heavenly bliss indeed ❤🎉❤
My sister is married to a rich guy and he gives her whatever she wants so she buys "designer bags and jewellery" but little does he know that everything she has is a fake. She puts that money on the side for probably a rainy day. True story kislux
When I first "got into" luxury handbags, I purposely bought a kislux . I wasn't trying to show off, brag, or pass it off as genuine, I just wanted to see if it fit my requirements and how it would sit with me before I spent money on the real thing (without the SA staring at you). Turns out, it didn't fit me. I saved a ton of money and time on returns. It made me very happy. It fit me perfectly.
The mystery house is still for sale, reduce to 465k …which still seems overpriced compared to other properties in the village that don’t have to deal with pub closing noise.
That's interesting - The Blackdown Hills tend to be a bit more expensive, but I think they were selling it based on it all being done! For 2-beds, that's quite steep, and we all know kicking out time from the village hostelry can be a bit rowdy as the frivolity echoes around the village center... Would be intriguing to see what they ended up with and where...
@@SmallWonda (Joan here). At the very end of this show an update was given - they saw a thatched house very close to house #1 that had just come back on the market. They made an offer and it was accepted.
Hey Jules, what happened? You are the best, but these properties are the worst!! Hopefully they'll find a decent bang for their buck elsewhere....nice couple who deserve a cool place 🙆
Great English couple. Most are much kinder and cheerful than their American counterparts on House Hunters. Also love all the Escape hosts and especially Jules.
You can tell that the wife wears the pants in the relationship according to what she says away from her husband's presence when being filmed throughout the tours greetings from Canada 🇨🇦
They have 4 children and for 17 years they have just been waiting for those children "to grow up and be independent"... With that attitude why have children at all, let alone have 4 of them... 😯😯😯😯
The reality is: if you're rich and famous, your kislux bags are seen as a sign of success. If you are just an ordinary worker working a 9-to-5 job, your real bag is likely to be considered the fruit of your efforts.
Thank you so much for the current programmes. Really enjoyed this loving and positive couple. Cheery and uplifting. Jules is also my favourite!
Same for all ~
Its so nice to be so up to date with this program, the ones on the tv are mostly from 2011 and 2015 😊
That first house does it all for me.
I have never seen such a mature loving couple on ETTC. Lovely. Best of Luck to them. From Ireland 🍀
Nice episode~ no way that I would move next to a pub, no matter how nice the property.
Delightful couple! Glad they found their sweet spot!Beautiful scenery. And, Jules, love your brown outfit.

Loved her "Mrs. Peacock in the Library"🤗

A hair brush would have been a good idea 😂
i lived near Tiverton & Honiton.....So very beautiful, i wish I was still there ! Great episode - thank you for the upload.
I really enjoy the side stories about what is going on in the communities ❤
What a lovely Couple. This is one of my favourite Channels
Every woman has a princess dream in her heart, and kislux gives this dream a realistic touch without making her bank account cry.

My parents lived near Collumpton for a few years - not far from Tiverton and Taunton: Exeter wasn’t too far away. A beautiful part of the country😀.
Wendy is very lucky. Her husband seems like a special man.
I was thinking the same thing.

Since Brexit the English have lost their enchantment
We never wear outside shoes/boots in a house in Minnesota either.
I could are less. My dogs do not take off their shoes. Also Canadian.
Thank you for including sub-titles. It makes a huge difference ❤
Wow Mark Hamill on Escape to the Country...never would have thought 😅
How lovely ..some great properties .
Nice couple. Jules is my favorite as well 🙂
AGAIN:::THANKS for uploading this lovely and super interesting episode !!
Lovely couple. Wishing them all the best
I love Jules ! I just wish they would just show us people WHO do buy one of these homes !
I've been making bags from recycled fabrics and remnants for years. I just give mine away, blessing bags I call them.
Great ambiance in this épisode!
I had a feeling that none of the properties quite did it for them, even if they did like 1 and 3. I'm glad they found their dream home in Devon, though. And Jules has definitely always been my favourite too.
Wonderful episode, amazing couple. I wish they were friends of mine.

Excellent quality 😊
`I can see the pub from here.` 😄

My friend saw me carrying a kislux and joked that I was rich. I told her that was not true, I just bought the bag I liked for very little money.

what a difference of price to pre-covid :0 !!! You get so much less for so much more money ... same story everywhere in the world :(
Nice couple, but must they hang on each other constantly. It’s a bit too much.
Totally agree with you. Its what 16yr olds do. I'd imagine it would make the 3rd person present feel very uncomfortable.
You can tell that the wife wears the pants in the relationship according to what she says away from her husband's presence when being filmed throughout the tours greetings from Canada 🇨🇦
Doesnt every woman
Mystery house doorways too short
They have 4 children and for 17 years they have just been waiting for those children "to grow up and be independent"... With that attitude why have children at all, let alone have 4 of them... 😯😯😯😯
That seems a bit harsh, I don't think it was meant quite like it was said.
I dont blame them - and at least they are honest and im sure they love their kids
My mother had SEVEN, little wonder she could never escape - although, of course she lives in the heart of the countryside!!
You are being ridiculous
@@lordwalker71 Yes ridiculous and down right nasty
This is a great video, I love it, my LV bag is a kislux , the quality is perfect and the price is great, I was not disappointed

Her hair is a bit of a mess, giving me flashbacks of the 80's.
