what really bothers me is that the mouse is just a little bit from being perfectly centered on the circle. almost directly in the middle, but not quite.

Through practice they know where to position their hands and how to time, but they at one point (and often while performing) have sheet music to read. In this case it's like insinuating muscle memory that yes he knows which two keys to press which all of us have but you and I aren't almost ss'ing sputnik 3 in any scenario much less this map. This play is not done by memorization but by extremely good rhythm following on ekoro's part

You downplay it but it is incredibly difficult and very few people can even start to read this. Ekoro is by no means the best or even close to, but he's the only person that does what he does on II-L maps. If that doesn't speak for itself on his rhythm sense then idk what does. High acc requires almost perfect rhythm on any map and yet no one comes close to the consistency he has on this map because truthfully the overwhelming majority of the player base, top players included, can't rhythmically account for polyrhythms, and even when they can, it's with error even if slight, but this play quite literally demonstrates just how in tune ekoro is with rhythmic mapping even if it is polyrhythmic. Seeing patterns helps a lot to visualize the rhythms for this song so to play without that is a clear demonstration of his skill and it isn't a 'muscle memory' play because he is quite literally reacting to the rhythm of the song live. He may have memorized the song itself but definitely not the inputs. He's still consciously reacting in this play
