I think Lily White's most memorable appearance is during Hidden Star in Four Seasons. The spring herald fairy, this embodiment of spring itself, got so confused by the Four Seasons incident that she announced the unseasonal spring at the Hakurei Shrine when it was actually the middle of summer. Poor girl was doing overtime work that year.

1:24 You know I never get why Yuuka is the "representative of summer" in modern fan works as it creates a rather skewed power dynamics. Letty is a stage 1 boss, the Aki sisters are a stage 1 miniboss and boss, Lily is a stage 4 miniboss which is equivalent to a stage 1 or stage 2 boss, and then you have Yuuka who is almost certainly stage EX boss, making her among the most powerful characters in all of Gensokoyo. This makes a bit of sense back in the day when she was the only real contender for summers representative, which unlike the four devas of the mountain or the sages of Gensokoyo for whom can be comfortably ignored thanks to the fact that the groups don't suffer without full representative, you kind of need all the seasons accounted for so that characters can represent them. However nowadays we have a much better option in Eternity, a stage 1 boss that fits right in with the others in terms of power and whom does not create a political imbalance between the seasons. But what do I know, it seems most people don't want to explore Gensokoyo surprisingly deep political games that allows Gensokyo to exist without major bloodshed over who controls the all import resource of the human village, and instead use it either as a platform to prop up their favorite character/OC as the most powerful person ever or as a playground for character gags and humor without any real culture.

I think we live in the same place with a difference of 8 months of summer 3 months of winter with moderate rain and 1 month left for spring and autumn to share
Spring is probably the closest thing to a “comfy” season. The temperature is just right, the atmosphere is peaceful, the scenery is beautiful, and when it rains, you can stay indoors and listen to it “fall”;) (unless you have school/work/etc) Fall is like spring but colder and less peaceful, also the rain makes you feel in danger (aka you’re always in danger)
