Sir I studied about this sandalwood plantation to make it in my land, but I have heard below are the problems: 1. Theft problem has it is high value, both trees and our life at risk 2. At the time of sale we have to take permission from forest department and government and we will lose around 70% paying commission to get approval and they will make our shoes worn off and suck our blood from body by the time we sell these wood 3. High security systems have to be deployed to protect these trees which will cost very high
You wont have a prblm in selling it.. But the prblm is you can only sell it to 4 govt companies of Karnataka and they fix their own price that is they give only 75%of avg price

According to information I got after 7 year heart rot (mother wood) starts growing, each year it will grow only one kg of heart rot and ur telling 10 to 15 then I believe it may grow only 8 to 10 kgs maximum . Then how come I can expect 10.20 cr in one acer from 300 trees . If anyone know about this can explain or guide me about this 🙏
If you plant saplings them wait for more than 10years, after that you have to check about soft and hardwood, if by mistake you cut softwood tree expecting crores then you will end up in disaster. Patience is required for 10-15 yrs and you have to spend money for security after 12yrs. Don't fall for rosy words, money will never come easily

Sandalwood takes very long time to grow. In the wild as long as 80 years. It is a sort of root parasitic nature. Hence needs other types of trees around. Protecting the trees is expensive. The government can and will change regulations from time to time because of its short term policies. All in all bad proposal. Wish good luck to those who proceed.
