phenomenal video yet again! Dilby, I just played my first club gig the other night and it went super well, even finished my set with my own track that you helped me finish with all these videos! Love your Patreon, keep up the awesome work!!!!!!
This is brilliant! :) Thank you for this tutorial. I have wanted to know how to detail my drums well for a while and nobody I have found so far has explained it as well as this.
Bro absolutely massive love for this video. Been following your stuff for a while now and my production level has totally skyrocketed since I started watching the videos on your channel! Thank you
Thanks for yet another amazing tutorial, Dilby! Working on a track right now and I want to integrate all the little techniques in this video to elevate the drum groove! :D
Cheers for the heads up. I actually had it set so that UA-cam selects it based on the viewers watch habits but I tested it with different accounts and different computers and every time it was that 26 sec video. Good work UA-cam, lol!
Great tutorial! One thing which would make it easier is if you would let us hear the separate element in its own. Otherwise I often have hard time understanding which element you're changing since there's a lot of going on in the mix.
Hey mate, fair enough. Thanks for your feedback.. I try to find balance between making it clear and understandable and also not too boring, haha. that's a big reason why I make the project files available to download. That way people can go in and understand it at their own pace.
Finally got around to spending some time building drums following the video. Honestly THE BEST tutorial I've used for this. Helped me understand a lot of stuff I was struggling to figure out - which is simple enough when you know how. Cheers.
Your tutorial files, are they saved as Ableton Live 10 or Live 11? I'm interested in your patreon but I'm only on 10 for now. Cheers and thanks for the videos.
i could do with a new drum sample pack, i just one a high quality one that isnt just drums taken from released music and filtered. Its crazy these are even for sale when anyone could do this. Any recommendations ?
This guy is a hidden gem
YET :)
Dilby you’re criminally underrated, not many other UA-camrs as insightful as yourself massive respect
Thanks mate, I appreciate that ✌️

Sounds great!
Proper surprised you have not hit 10k! I think you’ll hit a point where you just grow exponentially - in a years time you should be flying 🚀
Thanks mate ✌️
This was a great tutorial!
Glad you think so!
the groove and feel of the track depends a lot on the bass pattern as well, so a dull bass will def result in a not so great beat ⚡
Thanks, surprisingly instructive and complete.
Congrats on the 10K! Cheers. Love your super informative vids and straight-forward style. Congrats again and happy holidays! You deserve it.
Thanks so much!
Brilliant tutorial
FYI the video link @23:12 is for the 26 second clip directing people to this video :)

Fantastic video! You'll be at 10K subs in no time. Do you have any videos on how to make your own top loops?
The latest video on the channel 😉
Thx!
No problem!
Can you make a video on gating vocals like gorgon city’s new track sidewindah or Joshua’s you’ve got the love
🔥🔥🔥
Exactly the tutorial i needed right now. Subbed and will check out patreon 👌
Awesome, thank you!

The rack you use on the sample is it a Abelton rack ore you made it ?
It's an Ableton Simpler device inside an instrument rack with useful controls mapped.
Your tutorial files, are they saved as Ableton Live 10 or Live 11? I'm interested in your patreon but I'm only on 10 for now. Cheers and thanks for the videos.
L11 for any video where I'm using 11 (since around Feb this year). There's no way to save them backwards compatible as far as I know.
have followed your first tip to sign up

East End Dubs Single Hits
Lol, you made it to 10 k
i love you
The 909 openhat is not analog. Its a sample
✅
You always talk about loops with like a hint of shame or something haha. I think people are a lot more open minded about it now.
You honestly think this is something special? It's just a generic 909 4-to-floor pattern. Very subtle variations but what is the point?
The point is to have subtle variations of classic beats. Duh?
Shoutout from Mexico
Great stuff. Thank you!
