Very sentimental. You were driving around within blocks of where my Opa lived. So many of the buildings there have bene upgraded since the Fall, but a lot of the basic infrastructure still looks so "Ost." I like it, it's very nostalgic, in a good way. At the 41:45 mark you drove by my Opa's favorite restaurant in East Berlin. That peach colored building on the corner of Ludwig Klapp Str. & EkkehardstraBe wasn't there "back then," it was a little park. There was always a guy selling Wuerste there from a mobile cart. There used to be a ferry back there am Spree. Great video! Great music! I've subscribed.
Great video! I look for the Baumschulenweg videos from time to time. Mein Opa used to live on Ludwig Klapp StraBe. I remember when Koepenicker LandstraBe had StraBenbahnen darauf. I think those went away before The Wall came down. My Uncle/Aunt live in Mahlsdorf Sud.
