I respect you so much man, I'm an apprentice cabinet maker and my boss is incredibly particular when it comes to the minor details. From what I can see you are an amazing craftsman to do all this by hand, I know this is from 2 years ago but I just had to say something
Great job man...everything takes foreevvvvverrrrrrrrrrrrr. Even when I expect a small thing to take 10 min, I've learned that usually means at least an hour.
Loving this build process and the extra time you take with each addition will only be beneficial in the long run with a vehicle that will last a lot longer for you...
Well I wish I saw this before building my upper cabinets lol... I have LOTS of screws showing! At least I kept them all brass (in visible areas! HAHAHA)
They overhead cupboards look great. Some small magnets inset into the ceiling might be a good solution for holding the doors open, they gas or spring door stays sometimes get in the way of stuff
If you can't find any suitable handles that you like, Iv seen a few small cupboards on boats without handles, just had a small finger hole drilled in to open
If you were going to get a router anyway, you should have considered getting it at the start and routered the door face into the back of the frame, then just routered a notch out for the hinge. You could have deducted 3/8" overall width for the door, eliminated a bit of weight, hid those plywood edges, and would have had a much smaller lip on the frame to collect dust.
Hey Sean great video thanks but wanted to ask it looks like to me that the cupboard doors are the wrong way around why did you do it that way? any particular reason?
lovely job mate. looks really professional

That's a great idea Rob. Ill give it some thought. I may have to use different handles. If I use metal ones they they could catch on the magnet..

Rob Stone I have oedered some magnets. should be here in a couple of days. Thanks for the suggestion Rob.
