Get Ready for Sourwood Honey!

Finding Sourwood Trees and predicting the Sourwood honey flow can be quite challenging if you're not familiar with them. Sourwood, "Oxydendrum arboreum", Aka, Lily of the Valley Tree or Sorrel Tree is fairly common in parts of Western North Carolina. The Sourwood Honey Season begins in early July in Macon County, North Carolina.
