Hi Jeff and Shelly. Big thank you for this series of videos. Have watched them all. For context, we are leaving in 4 weeks heading to Botswana, Zambia, Uganda & Tanzania, for a total of 34 nights. Similar to your current trip. We have watched over 100 videos on Gorilla trekking and safaris in the countries we are visiting, and this ONE has been the best, and most informative. Even though we have subscribed, we missed your packing video, but just seen it. We are pretty well set, but you did give us a couple of extra tips, but also confidence we are on track.
Can you confirm the Airlo eSims worked whilst on safari, or only when you were in towns etc. just interested. Keep up the good work, and looking forward to more content……

Hey Jeff love your stuff! You have really helped me and my girlfriend prepare for our upcoming Africa trip 😊 we are travelling to Uganda next month for gorilla trekking! we are extremely excited for the experience but my girlfriend is very worried about our safety due to the impenetrable forest bordering with the Congo. Did you find the experience safe and do you have any words of advice for us?

Andreas, I understand your concerns about border security. But as a property located in this remote destination, I can assure you there is nothing to fear. We live and work here, and the security extends for dozens of miles inside Congo. We haven't had an incident since the 90s. Gorilla treks go out every day into Bwindi and come back to our luxury lodge for a serene getaway, just like Jef here. So come, you'll be safe with us.

Thanks for going to Uganda’s Bwindi again to visit our closest gentle giant ape cousins Jeff and next month on September 24th is world gorilla day. Also when you go to Uganda to see mountain gorillas again in either Bwindi or Mgahinga (That’s home to one well-known gorilla family group the Nyakagezi family), can you film gorillas in Bwindi’s nkuringo sector such as Bushaho? That family group of these criminally underrated primates (That the late Dian Fossey has studied for 57 years since 1967 before in 1985 she was tragically killed during her stay in Rwanda’s volcanoes national park) is led by a silverback named Bahati (Swahili for luck).

Thanks for watching! I had a great experience visiting Nkuringo - although I didn’t have the chance to go gorilla trekking from that sector on this trip, I definitely want to embark on one next time!

@@Jeff_Hyer That’s great and have a great return to Uganda Jeff and you’re welcome. Also next month on September 24th is world gorilla day and can you do more further African wildlife with hamadryas baboons and geladas in Ethiopia and many more mammals and birds across the continent?
