- The Grisons Canton lies in the Swiss Alps. The region is famous for its air dried Bündner meat and Bündner nut gateau. A rare fir tree also grows here, that is indigenous to the Alpine highlands - the stone pine. Carpenter Barbara Schuler-Rozzi doesn’t just use the tree’s aromatic wood for carving furniture but also in the kitchen and for making ice-cream.
What's cookin' is about traditional culinary recipes from different European regions.

I love the way they live, peaceful fresh air and fresh food. What a wonderful world...
We have a lot to learn in developed countries from people like this..... such a connected quality of life and purpose...
--______-- Switzerland is probably the most developed country on earth.
The Grandmother is so energetic and fit! Amazing!
I've started to like your videos so much that I like the videos before even watching it.. and definitely that is what I want to do after each video. Simply amazing work 👌🙌

how often when the midnight bells make you tremble for your combustible

I loved the Bundnersfleisch I had in Switzerland a number of years ago. It’s not cheap but I bought a Kilo to bring home. Unfortunately it was confiscated and destroyed by US dept of Agliculture at JFK!
They allowed me to eat mine instead. Yes, binging at it's best.
gennaterra Very cool! Wish I could have been there for that episode! I guess everyone knows about fondue, racketeering and Rossi but bundnersfleisch is really something special!
Raclette not racketeering for gosh sakes. Who does this autocorrect anyway?!
Where's the pie recipe?
The Grisons lies in the north west NOT the south east!!! I should know, I lived there for over 10 years.
@@408Magenta Yes it definitely is. You should visit. Great geography, lovely people and great food.
It is in the south east, bordering Austria and Italy
whatever.
A homogenous high trust community. Difficult to impossible to have with multiculturalism. Mass immigration will turn Northern Europe into New York. Sweden and London are almost lost forever.
It is exactly like this in Montreal. Where You don't need a quarantine to feel alone and isolated. Just walk dow n a street and not understand a word that is said...along with attitude and disrespect. I just cannot believe places like the ones in this serie...

With respect to old-fashioned customs and today's science, it seems foolish not to wear a respirator or filtered mask with woodworking. It's not coal dust, but it's hardly good for you.
