I was wondering the same thing. Mom does have a high pitch voice sometimes. Mikko picks up on everything, thats one smart little girl. Kudos to both Mom and Dad, their children have the right parents. They're all amazing!
@@lindywheeler4192Children on the spectrum are typically highly intelligent, there's just a disconnect that makes it hard to express themselves, be it verbally or emotionally. The fact that Mikko is starting to speak shows just how much effort mom and dad have put into helping this sweet girl! Absolutely kudos to them ❤
One of the students I teach in nonverbal and mimicks VERY well. He says "oh no!" In my exact voice even when he's not around me because I'm the only one that says it like that.
OMG. I so felt that autistic meltdown coming on with that first one. Amazing that she got her piece back and she did not go into meltdown. I know how hard it is for me as “high functioning” (gawd I hate that term because it is so misleading as so disrespectful to others on the spectrum) to contain things once the meltdown trigger happens. I just felt it in my chest at that moment and was so grateful you were so quick to return her brownie to her. I know it isn’t anything about her not wanting to share, about her not having empathy for you or others. If she is anything like me and other verbal autistics she may just be feeling a lack of agency and struggling with having to make decisions too quickly. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. Both of you are amazing. 🙏❤
high functioning is also a term that originates from n-zi germany, something a lot of people dont know. its not just misleading but was used to justify the g-nocide of autistic people.
@@autumnbreeze_official I like high masking. I am not sure “low needs” captures where I am in my journey of self-acceptance. I realize now I do have a lot of needs but I have just accepted the blame (lazy, highly emotional, picky, inflexible) for not having those needs met as if it they are character defects and not aspects of my disability.
❤❤❤❤ I do to. I don't know that much about autism, but I have been learning so much with you and Mikko. Keep up the good work Mikko and mom. I pray 🙏🙏 for you and your family family.
All of the frustrations, long hours of dedication, love, kindness, and patience are paying off! Hearing Mikko say “Thank you” so clearly is music to my soul, just as I’m sure it is to yours!!! ❤❤❤
😂😂😂 We all understood that “NO!” Loud and clear. Great job Mom! She is learning and utilizing her skills! I’m so proud of her!!! Great job! I also love her voice inflections. She is definitely learning from you and it’s amazing! Keep up the great work.
Mikko is amazing! I’ve been following y’all for a while. Keep up the good work Mom. And thanks for sharing. They will soon stop saying non verbal because we hear her loud and clear .
Thank you!! God bless you!- I wish I had these encouraging videos 16yrs ago when my son was diagnosed. You are truly a blessing. Thank you for your courage!
😂😂😂 her "no's and"thank you "were very clear. Mom you are truly doing an amazing job. She's starting to say some words clearly.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ keep up the good work 💯💯💯💯👍👍👍👍👍 baby girl.
She already knows when she wants to share and when she doesn’t. It’s really her decision but she has a ❤ and is willing to share. That the typical attitude of most kids not sharing especially when they are the only child. Mikko is so loving though.❤😊
That tiny "thank you" did it for me. BOTH of you are growing together. THAT PART. It's amazing what the Creator, the Universe, and Ancestors will bring to you. Clearly they knew you were just the right human for the job. KEEP GOING! 🖤🙏🏾
You are amazing! You have helped Mikko get super far in her verbalizations. What a lovely and loving mom ❤. I know it can't be easy, but I see your dedication to teach and be gentle with your daughter. You are a gem!
I’m so happy for you and her with the way she’s learning to communicate. It’s gonna make a world of difference for her and for you the look on your face and she understood what you were trying to get across to her you lit up I’m so happy for your family

Nice instruction back in forward with both of you! Like how you were both in control. Your letting make her own decision not forcing it. Gave her independence and strength of choice. Smooth!
She got that "No!" out loud and clear on the first attempt! 🤣 . You are doing such a good job teaching her sharing Precious! Love you both!! ♥️ ♥️ ♥️
She meant that 😂
Yes she did! 😂❤@@sweetbrownsuga504

What an awesome moment to catch! It sounded like she said "No, NO MA!
No problem at all with saying NO😅
Her "NO" and "thankyou" and "yeah" were so clear 😀🥳💗
That is what I was thinking. I love Mikko, you and her dad. God bless your family.
right 😂 she said what she said
They way she micmicked the 'thank you', I wonder if that's how you sound to her. 😂

Instead of high functioning, I've been using high masking or low needs for myself.

You are doing such a good job. Teaching a child that age to share is difficult. I love that she is learning to talk.
You could hear that NO loud and clear. Good Job mommy for teaching Mikko how to share. IT'S BEAUTIFUL ❤
That "NO! No, no!" And then "thank yew!" ❤❤
