this review makes me so glad of owning a 5d4. so far its all been negative reviews on other reviewers about 4k without a really good explaination. thank you very much
Nice to finally see a review from someone that shoots both Canon & Nikon, gives this review higher credibility, no fanboy!.....a very solid review with a good mix of real world use / example shots with technical tests. good job. 6 months and haters going to be loving this camera as initial reasons to dislike it will either be worked around via ML or realised that its not an issue such as crop in 4K. Personally, as a landscape photographer / wedding photographer this camera ticks all the boxes. Thanks again for the review, yours was the one of so many that I've watched that's convinced me to purchase! To the Sony Fanboys that have been trolling the internet how about this.....this thing doesn't over heat, has good battery life, has excellent weather sealing, incredible autofocus , great colours and intuitive controls to name a few. Canon stepped it up and I'm glad they did.
Very interesting light tests and great review in general. Such a tempting camera! Was in Times Square weeks ago too - wish I had ran into you to shake your hand. Thanks for the great reviews.
Thank you for the review! I'm looking to add the 5D Mark IV as my first full frame camera. I'm currently using the 7D Mark II and plan to keep it for use at my son's soccer games. After looking at your review it seems the 5D Mark IV is the perfect choice as the camera controls are very similar to the 7D Mark II, and my batteries, CF cards, flashes, and my EF lenses will work with the new camera. Also just subscribed to your channel.
I always wanted to own a Canon 5d but it is way to expensive for me I just own a Canon T3i. I really like the 5d because its full frame and good for instagram pictures btw Im from Brooklyn. I would like for you to teach me how to take better pictures.
Talk about standing out in a crowd. Not only excellent audio, thinking, talking and shooting on. Great analysis fantastic energy from a. Nikon shooter with integrity. Thanks from BuschObama in Sweden .
MX D I wasn't happy with the performance of the AF system mainly, plus the 6D is crippled in some stupid ways like the AF, single card slot, no mic etc. I guess I was more interested in something that would be more reliable in the field and give me those extra options that the 5d would give minus the rubbish sensor. however Nikon's flash system is extremely poor compared to Canon so that's a major no no right now
Trushar Patel you are very lucky! My D750 is the least reliable piece of shit I’ve ever owned. The shutter mechanism has failed 3 times! It is very heap of made in China crap. When it failed the third time I got it repaired and flogged it off to some unsuspecting buyer at a very cheap price I might add. One of the most over-engineered prosumer cameras out there is the Canon 5D mk iii. Next time you see a news clip with interviews etc and cameras rolling count the number of 5D mk iii in use and be amazed!
Corey, sometimes i want to sell my sony system, my A7RII and go back to canon, what are your thoughts? I just love the canon colors... And the lenses are cheaper.... Great review, like always!!! In may 2017 i will be there in NY, hope ill see you reviewing a camera lol
you just explain to me why ppl are complaining about the video format of the 5dmk4 the best way....i didnt get them before maybe bcs im not into video. thank you sir.
I want to buy a stills camera to do professional photography and with good enough video for behind the scenes and making of's, that way I can have access to the really good video and film cameras. I thnk this is the one.
Hey man. It was good to hear your comments on video. I am not a video dude and was good to hear a different viewpoint than the meltdown around the net. I have the camera and I LOVE it. Amazing camera.
A very informative video - thanks! As a prospective purchaser of the 5D Mk4 with a blank canvas, what are the details of the lenses and lens hood used on this video please?
Thanks for the review. I'm interested buy the mkiv but not sure which SD card suits the best (basically I'm into sports stills photography but I'd like the option to shoot some 4K stuff from time to time)
The 5D3 will never be obsolete it will be used for another 5+ years mine is a back up too my 5D4 The only short comings of the 5d4 are cropped 4K and the buffer needs too be bigger and better other than that best Camera I've owned after a 5d3 and 7d2 "before the af problems"
fantastic review of the Canon 5D MK4 - dispelled a lot of -ve noise coming from other reviews. Can't wait to upgrade from the MK3 - a great camera too!
I agree about the AA filter Corey....I wish Canon would give us the option to have the AA filter removed like they did with the 5DS and 5DS-r...I think that would have made this camera stellar for doing stills...I am still on the fence whether to buy because of that issue...Thanks... Philip
Bro, detailed 5d mark 4 vs sony a7r2 comparison and also little bit explaination about black level it produces, for example comparing both cameras when night dark sky is exposed sooc. Just like the comparison you did on d5 and 1dx mark ii.
I'm glad you touched on the MJPEG video codec. From what I've seen 5D4 video retains detail in the noise whereas video from cameras that encode in H.264 just falls to mushy shit in that regard. I'm sure the extra space consumed is worth it. I'll see tomorrow, that's when my 5D4 is arriving :)
Hi Corey! Great review, as always! Could you, please, tell what you like more and use more often 5dm4 or 1dx2? If you had to choose between these two, what would be your choice and why? Thanks!
Not everybody considers a massive crop in 4k video a plus and the huge file-size of the motion jpeg which can't be recorded externaly seems to be a bit of a point of contention as well. What is more, it seems a bit biased to compare the 5D MklV to the old D800E which has the older and inferior Expeed3 image processor, the older and inferior focusing system and still some AA-filter which reduces sharpness compared to the D810. This is almost like comparing the D500 to the 7D Mkl, of course the newer camera looks much better. Lastly, the D5 is not the greatest low ISO camera, but that was probably never the goal of that camera. Why did you compare the low ISO performance of the Nikon D5 but switched to high ISO comparison with the Canon 1Dx Mkll.
Not everybody thinks the crop matters, just get a 11-24mm canon lens, problem fixed. My god you can't stand anybody saying this camera is good. I love this guy he tells it like it is. Remember he's a nikon shooter so no fanboy here.
Fantastic review ! I bought a new 5d Mk 4 a week ago and it's 2021 ! Only think I didn't like is the camera guy waving the camera from side to side all the time. Bad filming and frankly just plain annoying.
Great Review, gave me a lot of information toward my next camera purchase... audio and editing does need some work though. Audio cut out a few times and the cuts had different audio from a shot that came a few seconds after the cut... :( thanks
can you do another footage to test out mark IV follow focus with their dual pixel AF feature ? object is moving while camera is moving too or still, I want to know how fast the camera can focus to object just by touching the screen or without touching the screen. thx
Marcel Fernandez The Sony has more megapixels, it's a great camera as well. However the Canon is much more reliable with auto focusing for weddings and events. Also Canon colors are much better in my opinion.
Love your reviews however although Canon have improved with Dynamic Range they certainly have not jumped "so far ahead", the D810 still beats it and thats a higher MP and 2.5 years old. As for the price point in the UK it is £3600 which I don't think is great considering the modest upgrades. Yes its a good camera but it's not what people hoped for and has less than most people expected.
JaseEvoX it's because people expected 60 frames a second and higher megapixel count. Canon is not going to compete with their 5DSR. There is more to photography and film then megapixel count. Dynamic range and color but depth matter. This camera also has motion JPEG, and no pixel Benning, no line skipping. It's a truly remarkable upgrade.
Jesus he's explained in the video why he says the IV is better than the 810, he has both cameras to do a comparison. I bet you haven't?. I don't know the tax situation in the UK but I bet that buying this camera is a business expense so a tax write off. The only ones complaining about the price are amatures which this camera wasn't intended.
At what point did I question what camera is better overall? I referred to when he said that Canon had jumped "so far ahead" in terms of DR which they haven't, there are plenty of tests that show the D810 has better DR, even if it matched the D810/Sony that is not jumping so far ahead.... With regards to tax, if it's your business i.e. a Pro then yes you can put it against it however you have to earn that money in the first place... also the camera is not aimed at only Pros, it is an Enthusiasts camera, I don't have the stats but I'd bet there are a high percentage that buy these camera who do not make a living off it.
I really like this channel. Come on, Who doesn't like camera reviews in Time Square? but I've noticed that Corey raves about every single camera he reviews. It's ok to get exited about a piece of gear but he sounds like a camera sales rep. The Camera Store TV guys work for a camera store but they are not afraid to tell you about their disappointments with the gear.
No the camera store guys tell you what YOU want to hear. They shit on the 80D when it came out. Now people are raving about it. Corey does rave about cameras, but this is the first time he's purchased a camera he's reviewed that I've seen. He goes into depth on all the positives of a camera. While mentioning any faults. The camera store guys briefly mention the good and spend 3/4 of the time running the camera down. Also they shot the 5D IV for one day with out learning the ins and outs of the camera. Corey has spent two weeks shooting with this camera, he knows a bit more than them. Admit you wanted corey to crap all over this camera when he didn't you couldn't handle it. PS If this review was done by a canon shooter I'd be very skeptical, but he's a nikon guy which gives him more credibility.
I'm not saying this because he is reviewing the 5D Mark IV, it's just a pattern that I've noticed watching his videos for about one year now. I'm personally planning to buy either a 5D Mark IV or a Mark III (Depending on the discounted price). Jared Polin and Matt Granger are Nikon shooters too and also rave about the 5D Mark IV. It is an excellent still photo camera but not so much for video. They (Canon) should have matched the video features on the XC15. Every camera has its pros and cons and a good review should include both. If I only want to hear the positive comments I just read and watch the Marketing material provided by the manufacturers. I'm more interested in the cons since they are what really seal or break the deal.
Mel Feliciano Sure cameras aren't perfect but the faults of this camera have been over blown. I've tried the video on this camera and it's sharp easy to edit what else do you want.
He said it before in other reviews, its cause he try to only review cameras he personally likes. I find it better than a guy reviewing a camera that they just shit on the entire time lol
It's probably not the most easy thing to do, and great thanks guys like u do outdoor reviews, but I always think : boy, could the camera he's talking about BE the camera he's filming with. Because we lesson to u like 6 minutes in a row, just trying to figure out what's that gear u're filming with. And it would be so nice that these 6 minutes spent were filmed with the specific camera u're talking about... so we get a instant feedback of the flied results... Never done that, so it's 2 identical cameras for the set, I know... Thx anyway for feadback & reviews FM.
You google EOSHD download the C-log programme to your computer, costs 15 dollars ( don't know The US $ amount ). Then connect your camera to the computer, open up EOS utility then download to camera. When in camera you have to activate it.
I subbed because of this video. Love the review, thanks for creating it. I was looking to purchase the 5D Mark IV but the specs surrounding the 4K was bothering me. You nailed it with confidence discussing the crop, and motion jpg codec. Hope you're right lol, but you delivered with confidence, and you're easy to listen to. Thanks again, stay cool ;)
In one point I have to disagree! A native 4k crop does not deliver 4k resolution. To get 4k resolution you need to have a higher resolution image (between 5k and 6k) and do a proper downscaling in camera (not line skipping or pixel binning).More and more cameras (even cheaper ones) do it that way. I think the processor in the MkIV is not powerful enough to do it.
TheBerndimax no form of downsampling is lossless. Your going to lose info no matter what. The 1Dx mark 2 doesn't downscale either and it has 2 of the fastest processors canon has. So It hasn't anything to do with processor capabilities. Native 4K-6k is super 35. 4K is actually smaller. So it utilizes that size of the sensor. This is factual info.
4k or 6k has nothing to do with the sensor size, it can be FF, Super 35, or even 1". Even the EBU states, that for a 4k tier1 delivery the sensor must have a higher reolution (~5760 x 3240 pxl) because of the bayer array. The real resolution of native 4k crop will max out at ~3k.
TheBerndimax It indeed does. I have been doing this for a very, very long time. Find me one film camera by any major motion picture director or company that shoots 4-6k and has a full frame 36x24 sensor.
Take the sony a6300 for example: for UHD (3840x2180) 24p it takes ~6000x3400 px images and downsamlpes it in camera. The result is sharper and has more resolution than the MKIV (only talking about resolution and not the other issues of the sony). The future of 4k or UHD delivery is oversampling of the sensor.
Not what I expected from a Nikon user and I have to say i feel you gave the 5D Mark iv a better review than some Canon users did. Bottom line is I really liked the review great job, but you do realize that Nikon will produce a D6 with just a little better specs, and then the ball will be hit back to Canon, jeez how do photographers afford to keep up with marketing rally game?

Thanks for extensive usability review. Not quite convinced though. One more stop of dynamic range and no aa filter would sound so much better! Don't fall asleep Canon! Will have to wait for price drop!
Did I hear you say Motion jpeg is easier to edit than H.264? Are you sure about that? I haven't worked with Motion jpeg myself but I've heard otherwise from almost everyone out here on UA-cam. Who's right? Obviously someone must be wrong.
Motion JPEG is harder in a sense that its more demanding on the computer/editing station. Its easier to edit in the sense that more highlight and shadow detail is retained and a lot less compression. So less of a headache trying to color grade and retain detail but you need a faster computer for sure.
Nick Korn I used the 5D4 along side the D800E and D4 for 3 weeks and did thorough testing. The only department where the 5D4 was in a losing position was megapixel count in comparison to the D800E/D810 or build quality compared to D4. Overall the 5D4 is great.
Rudy Aoun I didn't have a D810 on hand. However the D810 is not much better than the D800E for lowlight if any at all. It's slightly better. However six megapixels won't make or break a camera. The colors are much better in the camera performs better than the D800E. I have used both cameras side-by-side at weddings. The white balance, colors, accuracy and many other things are better on the 5D Mark 4. I mean I have used the D810 and D800E along side of it.
AVCHD, MP4, MOV and mts are just containers. All of them are H.264 for the video stream. Telling that one is better than the other is complete bullshit.
I feel like you're too misguiding, you always focus on the best features and shy away from the negative ones, don't take that the wrong way of course you can do whatever you want but for the people interested in buying one of these cameras id say you'd mislead them, you put a stop to the 5D / 1Dx ISO too soon, if you kept going the 1Dx would have destroyed it, it may have less pixels the 1D has larger pixels than the 5D which gives it the advantage in low light! 4K 60 would have been an epic feature for the 5D but the 120fps at 720 is most certainly the biggest downfall in this camera, I'm assuming they downscaled it to 720 because if it was 1080 no one would spend double the price on the 1Dx for it so they'd be losing out in money which seems like a regular thing for them to do with their camera's especially if they want to keep their C series afloat! I'm not knocking it though hands down the best thing about the 5D that triumphs over the 1Dx is the CLOG, so I'll also say if the 1D got CLOG no one would want a 5D so they're tied with pros and cons! They are both incredible cameras but they are also not quite there yet, which isn't high expectations or anything, the 1Dx ii with Clog would have been the perfect camera even with the 20 megapixel sensor! Great videos you're super confident and scientific with the reviews! Lastly, do you just mask around your hair and increase the sharpness to 100% for all your videos? 😅
@@petitwhite6366 I was crossed between the 1Dx ii and 5Div at the time I posted that! I agree there are tons of negative reviews that I came across in the research, although I found that when they were all positive there always seemed to be a pencil thin difference between the cameras competing with it for instance I heard this stuff a lot "the 5Div has great dynamic range / low light capabilities but sony, canon or nikon or whatever has the slightest advantage on it" and the side by side would look identical, which just made it even harder to choose! In the end I went with the 1Dxii, the sensor and overall quality is incredible, from what i've heard about the 5Div I can imagine i'm going to come across a lot of people with one so when that time comes I'll definitely test it out! One thing as well I always check the reviews before I buy anything to make sure it's the right camera for me but I also agree that reviews only go so far, you won't know for sure if it's the right camera until you test it out yourself in the real world so that being said it wouldn't have been a bad idea to rent the two cameras first to see what fit better!
Thank you for your thoughts about the camera and your suggestion to rent them first before making decisions. I would like to upgrade from Canon 5D3 but can't decide between Canon 1DX2 vs Canon 5D4 or wait in the next few years for new upgrades from these new cameras.
@@petitwhite6366 it's no problem at all 😄 it's good to get your hands on them and test them out by filming what you film yourself and see what works best for you, the 1dxii has top notch frame rates and I can see them still being very convenient for the next 10 years or so, the speed is overkill for me though, I have to set it to slow continuous shooting most of the time 😅
You are crazy - a good focus puller costs 500 an hour... I can put this on a Freefly Movi and pull an actor at 1.2 - on top of that the photo touchscreen focus has about 400 points
it's 2016 not 2006, canon sucks really in video in 2016 1080 quality is worse that 5D II on 5D IV and because of that people making this kind of video so people buy more of them.
~ I have upgraded from my 5D Mk2, 5D Mk3, to the 5D Mk4 .. I'm overjoyed with the image quality, especially as I shoot so much low light stuff for music magazines. The dynamic range is amazing. I love my 5D Mk 4 .. My images are here at www.janfialkowski.com .. Many thanks for this wonderful review .. :-)
@Paul Fensome Ha! Good one. I never do smiles, I hate having my photo taken. I've never been to Poland. My dad was catured by the Germans during WW2. He managed to escape with two other fellow Polish soldiers and made his way to the UK via a stolen fishing boat. He joined the Free Polish Army under British Officer command. He was seriosusly wounded in the Battle of Monte Cassino. When the war ended and he was demobbed in Longtown, near Carlisle, where he had met my Scottish mother. His two ccomrades rushed back to Poland to find their families, but they were immediately arrested by the Russians, and tried for treason .. fighting for the British. They were sent to Gulags never to be seen again .. My Polish Dad was proud of me attending art college to study graphicc design and photography. I don't pretend to take arty photos, just taking photos of my life. Stay safe during this nightmare virus carry on ..
that's all that was expected & needed hence name change from mk3 to mk4, if it was totally different it would not be a 5 series would it....everyone keeps saying canon is sinking but still see most Pro's using them....Most of the negative comments are by people who have not used one anyway.
I've never been a fan of your reviews. I think they're too long... Your time on the street doesn't provide me with substantive info other than your opinion about the camera, which becomes repetitive. I honestly think this video can be edited down to a palatable and equally substantive 15-20 min. the content is good I'm just put off by the length, it feels unorganized. I would have the format be: your run through of specs, opinions on handling and performance, then a brief slide show or montage of your shots from the street, and then ISO comparison and conclusion... Just my opinion. hopefully I was constructive.
I think this is the only review about this camera that was not negative. Everyone hated this camera. But I trust this guy more than any of them so...
this review makes me so glad of owning a 5d4. so far its all been negative reviews on other reviewers about 4k without a really good explaination. thank you very much

Loved the video cheers. How do I know if my 5D MK IV has c-log. I bought it in Canada spring 2021. Thanks in advance.
Corey I have shot hs football with the 5d4 and it can keep up nicely the buffers needs a firmware upgrade if they can make it better

Great review! You really bring clarity to some issues people are complaining about.
Compare the 5D IV with the Nikon D750 or D810
i switched from nikon D810 to canon 5D4 & 1Dx2....definitely no regrets.
and I did switched from the 6D to the Nikon D750......even more no regrets
MrKdr500 Hey, can you say reason for switching?

SuperDigitalMe Canon is definitely more filmic looking. Better colors and skin tones than Sony for sure
Yes, thats why i love my 5DIV, yes i sold my sony system and bought the canon :)
SuperDigitalMe Good to see I’m not the only one who wants to switch from mirrorless to canon/Nikon
+1 Here. Sold my A7RII to get the 5D Mark IV. Mirrorless system is great but I still prefer DSLR for many reasons.
you just explain to me why ppl are complaining about the video format of the 5dmk4 the best way....i didnt get them before maybe bcs im not into video. thank you sir.

if you miss focus youll be able to refocus in post, not quite of course, i guess you mean if you juss focus by a fraction of a mm.
I'm sold!!! Canon take my money!!!

clickonmike Thanks Mike. Crop is better I explained it in the video but not everyone seems to understand.
Its Super 35 like my RED or Blackmagic 4.6k - Motion JPEG can be graded cause this is 422 8 bit internal and yes get the Tokina 11-16 and done
Is the difference to the 5D3 that big ?
Whatched this vid numerous times, its that good.

Ben Gifford I have no idea what your talking about must be UA-cam. I am using a very expensive lav mic. I never cut any audio.
The Audio cuts out at 8:56 - 9:33 and again later on in the video... unless that was intentional.
Ben Gifford that's UA-cam. It cut out music that I purchase to use with UA-cam and then they claimed it.
ah i see... no worries :)
thanks for the review it was great
can you do another footage to test out mark IV follow focus with their dual pixel AF feature ? object is moving while camera is moving too or still, I want to know how fast the camera can focus to object just by touching the screen or without touching the screen. thx
How do you compare the Canon 5D Mark IV to the Sony AR 7 II?
Marcel Fernandez The Sony has more megapixels, it's a great camera as well. However the Canon is much more reliable with auto focusing for weddings and events. Also Canon colors are much better in my opinion.
Many thanks for answering my question and for your excellent review. Canon colors and the wide assortment of good glass are hard to beat.
Great review! Keep them coming...
Loving my 5D4 like crazy ❤️
Bought this camera a few weeks ago, perfect all around camera. I love the touch screen! Nice review.
Great video-Thanks for sharing your thoughts, you are a very knowledgeable photographer!!!
Is it smart for me to buy the 5D Mark III right now? When will it be discontinued???????
PS
If this review was done by a canon shooter I'd be very skeptical, but he's a nikon guy which gives him more credibility.
clickonmike r
Does anyone else have the audio cut out randomly in this video?
Great review!!
5DMKIV is a great camera!
Your reviews are also great, thanks!
Great Review on the 5D4.
All okay. what about the shutter speed
I don't see C-Log on my 5Div....where can I get it?
You google EOSHD download the C-log programme to your computer, costs 15 dollars ( don't know The US $ amount ). Then connect your camera to the computer, open up EOS utility then download to camera. When in camera you have to activate it.
Go to " how to install c-log to any canon camera " he gives a more indepth tutorial. Give him a like.
Compare to a 80d??? How do you compare with it
The best 5D4 review by a country mile!!
Thanks again, stay cool ;)
very good review! thanks!
Azat Gevorgyan thanks man!
Have there really been rumors of a 1DC Mk II? Last I heard, that product line was supposed to be dead.
Very helpful review. Love how well the 5D Mark IV works in low light compared to the D800.
What camera is it again?
The future of 4k or UHD delivery is oversampling of the sensor.
do a reveiw for hasselblad x1d!
This guy reminds me of Screech Powers if he stuck his finger in a light socket. ( no hate just making an observation). Love the video.
could be, but it is not, that would be the Nikon d850.

Will have to wait for price drop!
what camera did you use to film this video it is out of focus many times
very good .thanks .
Go to " 5d mark iv mjpeg file editing is easy ", by magnus547. Don't forget to like.
Nearly every negative comment made about the 5D IV is slowly being proved wrong. But canon haters will never believe their lying eyes.
Will you ever do this kind of reviews again? Or is NY too dangerous now
carrying camera like this without a strap attaching it to your hand is like riding motocycle without a helmet.
head to head ///one on one showdown THIS CAMERA CANON 5D MARK 4V VS NIKON D810???? Then i will believe the hype
what Hype? everyone that owns the 5D4 loves it and everyone else bags it....don't see that as hype.
Nick Korn I used the 5D4 along side the D800E and D4 for 3 weeks and did thorough testing. The only department where the 5D4 was in a losing position was megapixel count in comparison to the D800E/D810 or build quality compared to D4. Overall the 5D4 is great.
Perfect! I want to sell my 5DSR now!!!!
dude you compare it to the newer D810 not the D800 its like you want nikon to fail
Faymusmedia
im talking about when it comes to the focusing system
I won't be selling my D800E anytime soon. It suits my needs perfectly.
So... this gentleman likes this camera?
"What's different between the 5DMiii and the 5DMiv - absolutely everything...it's identical!"
He said this in reference to 1dx mark 2, go watch it again.
AVCHD, MP4, MOV and mts are just containers. All of them are H.264 for the video stream. Telling that one is better than the other is complete bullshit.
ISO 6400: no noise hahahahahahsha
There are too many negative reviews about this camera here on You Tube so a positive review is great.
@@petitwhite6366 it's no problem at all 😄 it's good to get your hands on them and test them out by filming what you film yourself and see what works best for you, the 1dxii has top notch frame rates and I can see them still being very convenient for the next 10 years or so, the speed is overkill for me though, I have to set it to slow continuous shooting most of the time 😅
@@ChrisSchieritz Thanks, I'm encourage.
Do people ever ask for pictures when you do reviews?
Sometimes they do
Dual pixel raw seems to be just gimmicks - It doesn't really work that good.
have you tried it?
You are crazy - a good focus puller costs 500 an hour... I can put this on a Freefly Movi and pull an actor at 1.2 - on top of that the photo touchscreen focus has about 400 points
it's 2016 not 2006, canon sucks really in video in 2016 1080 quality is worse that 5D II on 5D IV and because of that people making this kind of video so people buy more of them.
Do Canon pay you?
the video quality is 340 really :/)
Just wait half an hour, maybe an hour, then the quality should be in 1080
UA-camBasics :( Wait!
what in the hell is up w/the creepy dude w/the baby mask?!!! That's his schtick, 2 scare people out of their money?!!
nobody carries that heavy shit anymore...
Is the channel dead?
👍
gh5 will be 10 x better at half the price
For video that is
ItsMarksLife not really. Don't get me wrong GH4 is great. It's nowhere near as good as the 5D4 for video.
canon is a sinking ship...4 years of waiting and what you get is just refresh and bit of upgrade
that's all that was expected & needed hence name change from mk3 to mk4, if it was totally different it would not be a 5 series would it....everyone keeps saying canon is sinking but still see most Pro's using them....Most of the negative comments are by people who have not used one anyway.
I have a Panasonic gh4 enjoy your gh5 terrible low light shots I'm selling my gh4 for canon 5d mark 4.
Nikonist and yet you do them advertise canon
I've never been a fan of your reviews. I think they're too long... Your time on the street doesn't provide me with substantive info other than your opinion about the camera, which becomes repetitive. I honestly think this video can be edited down to a palatable and equally substantive 15-20 min. the content is good I'm just put off by the length, it feels unorganized.
I would have the format be: your run through of specs, opinions on handling and performance, then a brief slide show or montage of your shots from the street, and then ISO comparison and conclusion... Just my opinion. hopefully I was constructive.
nikon D5 horrible!
