Don’t be sorry for what the music means to you. Yes there is back story and lore for every nightwish song, but music can be written as one thing but mean something totally different to another. And that’s awesome!! We all listen to music that moves us, makes us feel something. And that something is what makes it a part of you and makes you continue listening over and over. I absolutely love to hear unique perspectives on songs and not just what they’ve been told to feel. I’ve only been listening to nightwish since the pandemic. I’ve noticed that the same song by them can mean one thing to me one day and something diff another time. Depends on my headspace at the time. This army of people are some of the nicest people I’ve seen on the internet in a very long time (well next to the bluegrass folks). They love to pass on the love for the band. as a person who hated metal They answer my dumb questions without making me feel stupid. So no one is going to say anything mean when you interpret you’re own way. Well at least I haven’t seen it yet. Keep on letting the songs speak to you in your language. 🤘🤘

To be completely honest, i don‘t like Tarjas Version of this song... it just fails to bear the emotions, at least for me. This song is special to me and it will always be, but only Floor can bring this song to this level.
@Hara The High Priestess yes, that‘s simply a matter of taste ^^ and it‘s great to see that there are people in the Nightwish Fanbase that can share those opinions without getting toxic, thanks for that ^^
The technical in Ghost Love Score will blow the top of your head off. Recommend it!
@@kira_strigoi interesting, as I never feel any passion or emotion when watching Tarja perform. I’ve never been drawn in and captivated by a song because of her singing. (Except Phantom)
But with Floor, I get “hit in the feels” so often.
@@peterbell3199 there certainly are a few songs that hit me into the feels, whether the good (Ocean Soul, Wishmaster), or the bad (Dead Gardens). It's for me not about Tarja being a bad singer, she is absolutely great, no need to argue about that. But i simply don't like her in this song
Nightwishes Masterpiece Number 💜
What a beautiful performance and song.
Floor doesn’t need to say thank you … we have to say ..: thank you nightwish for this masterpiece
This Band is so different... all of these members are perfekt. Wtf thats an another Level!
So many tears i drop from listening this masterpiece!
The most emotive version ever!
Lyrics:
I live no more to shame, nor me, nor you
I'm sorry
Born from silence, silence full of it
A perfect concert, my best friend
So much to live for, so much to die for
If only my heart had a home
Sing what you can't say
Forget what you can't play
Hasten to drown into beautiful eyes
Walk within my poetry, this dying music
My love letter to nobody
Never sigh for better world
It's already composed, played and told
Every thought, the music I write
Everything, a wish for the night
Wrote for the eclipse, wrote for the virgin
Died for the beauty, the one in the garden
Created a kingdom, reached for the wisdom
Failed in becoming a god
Never sigh for better world
It's already composed, played and told
Every thought, the music I write
Everything, a wish for the night
If you read this line
Remember not the hand that wrote it
Remember only the verse
Songmaker's cry, the one without tears
For I've given this its strength
And it has become my only strength
Comforting home, mother's lap, chance for immortality
Where being wanted became a thrill I never knew
The sweet piano writing down my life
Teach me passion, for I fear it's gone
Show me love, hold the lorn
So much more I wanted to give to the ones who love me
I'm sorry
Time will tell, this bitter farewell
I live no more to shame, nor me, nor you
And you
I wish I didn't feel for you anymore
A lonely soul
An ocean soul
A lonely soul
An ocean soul
So much more I wanted to give to the ones who love me
Time will tell
A lonely soul
An ocean soul
A lonely soul
An ocean soul
If i ever die want to be played on my funeral ... EPIC....
Same here.
This song or her version of "Valley of the Queens"
"If I ever"????
believe me, you will 😉 just kidding, know what you meant!
This and Night 13.
I love how you begin your comment, if i ever die, well you will never die, seeing all the dead bodies around doesnt mean youll die one day, i cant die, im in this world to live forever. Youre the first person i know that says something like that.
Wow! This was always one of my favorite Nightwish songs... but my god!! Soooo much more emotiona... and that ending an Oceansoul! Amazing!!🖤❤🖤❤🤘
I was there, just an amazing show with a great setlist and performance with Delain supporting them.
For those about to rock, we bow to You our Goddess!

Love you Floor!!!
Im speachless everytime I hear her voice ... I just have no words wtf ...
My favorite song still alive!!!!! 😢
Epic,powerful,rock'en roll,janis joplin,orchestra,metal,queen,david gilmore,jim morisson,it's all in.A MASTERPIECE.And that is Nightwish.Live
At 6.50 her mouth opens no sound comes out but all souls in that arena are devoured She even Knows at the end it was Special "WOW" What a performance
That little guitar solo broke me. It sounded so emotional
Epic song by Floor and nightwish, tears in my eyes
Hallo, WOW, i am speechlees, this is so emotional , greetings from northern germany,

das Ding ist brutal... Gruss aus Lower Saxony
Ich mein, ich mag Rammstein, aber wenn Du die einzelnen Künstler gegenüber stellst, sind Rammstein Nichtskönner.^^
Einfach nur großartig was Nightwish hier abliefern.
Floor has the voice of an angel!
Nothing against Tarja or Anette, but Floor it’s just other level…Other planet maybe…
Listening to this in the middle of a pandemic is cathartic with all the anxiety and pent up emotions exploding like somebody is trying tear the heart out of my chest.
this gives me shivers everytime
Perfection
I love the old and this new version, both are very special to me... 💖
Fantastic performance !!!!
Wow! Just wow. So beautiful.
These smooth vocals fit perfectly well with the song!
Emppu the lead guitar is so key to this band. Sometimes that gets forgotten. Watch the emotion in his face at the end of the riff. The song is so beautiful that even the usually clown like Emppu feels it. Stunning! Respect from Northern Ireland.
Emppu feels every song
Voit hurmata minut 💙🇫🇮💚🇧🇷from the another world 👽🚬 Floor fantastic, Thanks Tuomas 🤘🏾🖤🔥🌍🔥
just beautiful
Hey skullz,
Hi from Arkansas!
I'm 63 and get teary by alot of their songs! Floor does it to so well...
Perfect!
This song reminds me so much of my late mother and me...
Holy cow - This is AMAZING. I haven't seen Dead Boy's Poem live performances, but I love the gentler first chorus and also the edge of acoustic guitar (I think) around where the transition to the outro is. I feel there's a little bit of restraint in Floor's performance here that works perfectly, as everything feels in perfect balance. Bra-VO!
And Floor wasn't even feeling well from 'Tour Flu'.
Pretty damn impressive, considering that.
not at this concert, it was later in colombia
@@ArsRegnandi It started in Argentina, it got a little bit worse at Colombia and in Mexico she was feeling tired, that's why they decided not to record in México.
OMG FLOOR OMG❤❤❤❤
