At 12:35 the creeper passed through the shield because there is a delay before the shield actually protects you from damage. It's there for PvP balance I believe but it's not the most readable. Responsive Shields mod makes it so the moment you hit right click you're protected.
@@DotKom01 It's more complicated than that really because smooth animations (like what would be needed for the shield delay) aren't really present anywhere else in minecraft. At the same time, if you did include the animation then shields would feel a lot clunkier. Game design is really complicated and difficult but yeah the shields do feel bad sometimes at the moment. At surface level it's a trade off where either shields feel bad all the time or only sometimes. I'm sure there's a creative work around though. (Personally I'd like to just get rid of the delay all together rather than making the shield animations slower but it's just the way it is right now. They'll probably change it when the combat updates roll out though. The combat snapshots also include a UI element that tells you if you're blocking yet which is fine ig but kinda lame.)

At 24:00 , there is a mod that replants any sapplings, including flowers after it is destroyed. The purpose is so whenever people usually chop down trees in minecraft, most of the time they forget to replant them.

been loving the series so far, i have a mod i think you'd like to check out, it's called "unloaded activity" it basically allows certain blocks to function outside of the games set simulation distance, crops can grow when you go exploring, and furnaces continue smelting and stuff like that, kinda a small gameplay QOL feature similar to how Terarria tracks their block update when a player is outside of that blocks range.

Sorry for third comment, but at 5:35 the bounty boards kinda work like villagers, the more trades you will get as the more you use it, also the decrees can be used like professions, for example a decree with a armorsmith or something would give you quests to gain things like armor. So its a really nice block and recommended to get a few of them

By knowing "Stop Code" - Understanding and troubleshooting issues becomes very easy, because you know what caused BSOD. There are also tables on the Internet, where all stop codes are written with really good explanations As a guy who plays with your Minecraft modpack on Intel Core 2 Duo (2 Cores) and Nvidia GeForce 210 (1 GB) - My Minecraft/Windows never crashed, so I don't think that BSOD was caused by "bad performance" (Maybe it did, but usually it happens rare, most of time - It's a different problem that doesn't have any connections with performance)
I recently went to Tanzania, and the valley you settled in really reminded me of the Ngorongoro crater, look it up that place is stunning. When youre down there youre surrounded by mountain ranges all the way around, and the wildlife us amazing.

That basin in the mountains looks great! I can totally envision some sort of mine area and underground railway system or even a hot spring near the scarlet/crimson mountains. Could also be a sick place for a dramatic nether portal whenever you're geared up enough to go there. I'm looking forward to whatever happens during the big survival video in October!
4:55 This reminds of the town I live in, Bandung! The mountains are certainly not as tall, and it's pretty hard seeing the bowl like shape cause the surface is covered in building. But everywhere I look there is always a mountain/volcano surrounding the city.

I feel like its good to stretch your dollar and wait for the next thing thats going to come around, but there will always be something new coming up! Its better to just get that thing you need when it starts to really bother you (and since the cpu issues are causing you to lose time and work, I'm guessing you actually are bothered lol)

I was talking to a friend about upgrading my CPU, Ryzen 5, and he remarked, "that's not enough?". Lol, no sir, I started modded minecraft. I need more RAM too. One of the mods I added to this amazing style modpack was JEI, it does require some tinkering but all it is is renewing some fabric operating mods and the fabric loader itself, everything works just about fine, the only problem I noticed was a few bugs within the creative item menu, no idea how to fix it but I love JEI and I think you should try it.
43:35 It is a zombie wave or a mob chunk were in specific chunks you get the same mob multiple times. It usually works with zombies, slimes in swamps etc.
I feel you on those blue screen crashes man. i had pretty consistant blue screens that led to other problems for quite a while, turns out my ram was really dusty and it ended up being faulty
the phantoms are most likely spawning more often because youre far from spawn with the adventure mod, you should use the bed trick if you dont want to deal with them every night but still dont want to skip the night XD (cherry and spruce are my favourite wood types)

You should allow yourself to disable phantoms or sleep every 10 days that way 12+ don't spawn every night.
Or just get in and out of bed, the bed interaction makes the reset, no need to skip the night
