The best curve in this game by far is the sweeper curve. The new pinpoint is tough to learn like the sinker and I like it honestly. I’m still not 100% with it.
@@cbr274 yes but honestly i’ts just like pitching in real life. If you mess up, you’ll pay for it. I’m good at pitching. Hitting is tougher it seems this year so far and I’m ok with it. I’m not a good hitter.
Believe it or not i figured out how to hit really good even on hall of fame the way i do it is anything over the middle of the plate swing at its all about timing what i found helps is when the pitchers winds up and throws the ball as it comes out of his hands you count how many secs it takes to get to plate off speed pitches usually are better odds at getting on base or hitting home runs it usually takes three to four secs so what i do is i like to let the pitcher throw the first pitch unless it's a no brainer where you can tell where its going to end up usually a fastball is the most obvious for timing reasons when swinging the bat each pitcher is a little bit different so say he throws a pitch other than fastball in zone some pitchers it takes 2 to 3 seconds for it to get right in the area where the bat swing radius is so i count it out like 1 2 3 outloud so im swinging at two or three secs depending on how the pitcher is approaching the at bat now if it's a fastball usually 1 to 2 seconds of counting when the ball is released on pitch is when i swing i found it helps its like an internal clock strategy and it's very effective normally off speed pitches you have to wait an extra sec or two to actually make solid contact with the ball and fastball and the such is usuall one second and occasionally two seconds depending on the pitcher and the location of where the pitch is going i always try to look for anything that is up a little bit or right down the middle if its low or to the outside lay off force the pitcher to throw a challenge pitch those are when you get the best chance at base hits and of course homeruns if your a power guy lay off the outside pitches because they tend to be groundball hits or foul balls or flyouts pop outs its really all about learning the pitcher your facing and adjusting the time of your swing to help you be a more consistent hitter
I am new at this game what is the best hitting stance to use? And best camera view for hitting... I did my first season and struck out over 150 times which sucks I seem to not be able to get my timing right
I got a question I’m a good hitter and eye coordinator in HoF and Legend but I have a hard time struggling dealing with the All Star Changeup is there a way to fix it?
No lie, it’s the time I sit starring at the windup that ends up making me reach and swing at trash. I look away and then once he winds up I look back and my reaction time is better
I stare at the middle part of the swinging zone the middle yellow dot I see where it's at on the playing surface and then if the ball comes in that particular area I swing I get lots of home runs that way and teaches you to focus on the ball rather than the pitch it helps with timing and cuts down on distraction from watching the pitcher does his head movement and all that wind up animations they have to make it resemble the real life pitcher I don't focus on that I mainly try to see what pitch they are trying to lean on for most of the game I find the cutter pitchers that specialize in it are always the hardest to decipher in terms of knowing when and when not to swing and what pitches are his vulnerable pitch that one if you make contact properly will make the pitcher doubt himself each pitcher is like complex puzzle you have to learn while your facing him in your plate appearances
Fantastic vid, but using Randy Johnson who is an outlier of a pitcher in literally every regard (handedness, arm slot, size, release point, extension) maybe wasn’t the best example for reading pitches 😂
Pitcher and pitcher. It's hard to learn but when u do it's so much more realistic, challenging and satisfying when u get into one for a bomb. It's an amazing feeling 🔥
Low breaks are the only thing I can touch. I could get 15 92mph fastballs in a row middle middle and I’d be lucky to get 2 good timed swings on any difficulty. Crush the low stuff so easy though it’s annoying
I’m right there with you. When he went from fastball to slider, I thought he mixed up the clips because the slider looked straighter than the fastball.
Forgot to mention my hitting view: Strike Zone
Amazing info frfr. I’ll probably still be late on all fastballs over 85 & and be impatient on veteran😂 (new player and first year trying DD)
Sit fastball. Adjust to everything else. If up in the count, only look at balls up in the zone.
?????
Exactly
I'm throwing low then😂
if I see that I'm hitting just corners on change ups and splitters
Swing at everything. Act like a pitcher.
Saved this video and subscribed. The exact kind of video I’ve been looking for. Much appreciated my kind sir

Does pinpoint still give you more accurate throws than the other methods? Even with a wired controller pinpoint tends to be glitchy for me

Great info. Thanks for the video. I always sit high on the knuckleball. If it's not up in the strike zone I don't swing. Even with 2 strikes
luckily the knuckleball got nerfed into oblivion

Lol. I just faced Waldron during the '24 Father's Day CQ map. I almost learned to read it. It comes in with no spin!
I thought I was the only one that looked at the hat 😂 I been struggling n I’m goin back to that method 😂😂
I am new at this game what is the best hitting stance to use? And best camera view for hitting... I did my first season and struck out over 150 times which sucks I seem to not be able to get my timing right
stance is all preference. strike zone or strike zone high is the best hitting view
I can't get timing right at all... batting .170 through 40 games in RTTS, but the rare chance I get perfect it feels so nice
Subbed. This is what I’m talking about . Is there a way as a batter to lead the pitcher to throw in a certain area over a few at bats?
Not directly- all based on your opponents tendencies. some people throw the same pitches every AB
i just sit fastball and adjust from there as soon. Usually don’t even swing at off speed pitches or pitches high in the zone
Excellent video

Could be the velocity/timing between the difficulties that gets ya. Legend diff is faster overall vs AS

Thanks bro!
How do you get the back catcher to show signals to the pitcher ?
Gave you a sub before I even watched the whole video just because of the Braves jersey.
What hitttingvcamera view you use
strike zone
Fantastic vid, but using Randy Johnson who is an outlier of a pitcher in literally every regard (handedness, arm slot, size, release point, extension) maybe wasn’t the best example for reading pitches 😂
you can do this with any pitcher. randy is a common pitcher to face
My favorite hitta! ⚾️
Can’t wait for the Topps now Matt Waldron!
The problem is my consistency with locking in on the pitcher's arm and following that.

Jon Smoltz has splitter and change up.
jon smoltz also is one of the easiest pitchers to hit off of on ranked
I can’t see the low ball. The off pitch in the dirt is making me loose my mind
good thing to think about: if it's low and a ball out of the hand and it's a change/curve/slider, it will never be a strike

Smoltz has both splitter and change up
not many people throw smoltz. it’s best to practice against pitchers you typically see or have higher overalls like pedro, randy, etc
@@AeroUprising_totally agree. Just more of a fun fact since you mentioned it in the vid
Thanks for the tips bro! 🪓
