DAMN I WISH I HAD SEEN THIS VID JUST 3 DAYS AGO! BUT THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE RND INFO! Mine will sit for a week, but I don't have to buy 2 valve covers because of you! Thank You So Much!!!!!
You can get the gaskets and Tube seals for your vehicle off of eBay. That's where I get a lot of my parts there's about everything you can think of on there for your vehicle just thought you'd like to know.
Those are inbeded in the cover and you can't even get the ones that I mention in this video any more you have to buy the whole cover. If you can get them please help us find them
When using the Felpro ES72481, use a 1-3/4 Hole saw to make it fit. Do not use the 2" Hole saw like the R&D seals as it will make to big of a hole for the felpro seal.
I bought them from Autozone and my mechanic was worried about there being an issue with the installation... so he’s calling Autozone to confirm that they do fit and will work.
thank you was a big help. I changed the seals and the new seals worked well. no leaks yet. however the spark plug well had oil and I had to clean that out. so I put new spark plugs and mounted up the cover. however the only problem was after the fix there was a lot of white smoke coming from my exhaust. know any possible reason why? thank you.
I love my 2007 Nissan Murano with 193,000 miles but mine does leak oil to I had to change the spark plugs at 173,000 miles and did notice 1 spark plug covers in oil and figured that was a valve cover gasket
Sam S yea I guess by doing the bare minimum we are blessed even our dogs lived way longer than they were supposed to the vet was just like keep doing what your doing
The part store seals are for serviceable valve covers. “Aftermarket”. You can buy two valve covers with gaskets and seals included on amazon for $110.00. That’s a steal compared to the dealers price! I got new plugs NGK, coil packs valve covers and gaskets through amazon for $200.00 and a motor mount for 45 that’s was $115 at the part store. Ive installed them and their working great. I can’t believe the markup these box stores put on their remanufactured products!
The infiniti part # is 1327631U10. It's for the VQ35DE and VQ30DE engines, so it should work in a wide variety of nissan and infiniti cars. website where i bought mine: www.infinitipartsdeal.com/parts/infiniti-seal-oil-rocker~13276-31u10.html
Any update? How is the seal repair holding up? Still no leak? R&D website mentioned about a $45 refundable tool upon return. But tool was not mentioned in their instructions. Weird. Is that the dowel like wood you put in the center of the hole drill bit? $115 is expensive for 6 rubber seals. Assuming you will not get back your 45 bucks. So you said the felpro is a smaller size? You said you tried it? Meaning you bore a hole for it and it did not fit?
Yes I bored it open and it was to small and yes its the dowel wood refundable tool when you return it the wood piece is just a broom stick cut to a small size no leaks either
Why did they not make these things replaceable I change out my plugs and found some oil in the ports I live in Hawaii so looks like I gotta pay the man again for something that could have been so simple to replace
How well did these hold up after being replaced? Not sure I want to replace them if they just leak after a couple of months. Also are these the same as the FelPro ES72481 ones?
julian garcia tengo una nissan murano 2004 le cambie los gaskets pero Ora empeso a quemar mucha gas y tiembla es cierto que se des programo la computadora? como puedo solucionarlo? tambien le cambie las bujias y siguio la misma

www.rndfactory.com/Web/NISSAN-GROMMET%20SET.html That’s where purchased them from but I don’t know is they are still in business you might just have to buy the whole cover hope this helps
Es72481 felpro seal does the same thing. There is another ring that need to be broken off for it to work. Please see video ua-cam.com/video/UjAXdjexxBw/v-deo.html

I bought them from Autozone and my mechanic was worried about there being an issue with the installation... so he’s calling Autozone to confirm that they do fit and will work.
