Awwww am I crazy that I started tearing up when I saw Babe kick it up into the new little pasture??? lol and then Rose was like yeah lets RUN!!! Warms my heart. Gods Creations
Your channel quickly became my fav. Clearly very real and you cover it all. Animals, gardening and food storage. God Bless your family and your channel.
Good morning from Toronto, Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 we are having a gorgeous sunny start to our day today. We have had rain for what seems like forever but I suppose that’s what April is all about “April Showers” bring “May flowers” LOL Thank you for your videos I always look forward to watching them. I live in downtown where the streets aren’t paved with gold but they are paved and pretty much every place around here is. So having a chance to see all that absolutely beautiful green grass and the landscape scenery just gives me a chance to live vicariously through you. You are both incredibly hard workers, Sara you do the work of most men!! I know you count your blessings and it’s easy to see how grateful you are for everything you have. It’s sure nice to see that hard work and consistency pays off in the long run. I think you both demonstrate what it is and what it means to be stewards of the land and caretakers of animals. Thank you for showing even when things don't go exactly as you thought they should. Your animals look soooo healthy and your calves are always soooo full of energy and vitality! Even Rose was running and jumping around on the new fresh salad bar. I know if I were a cow I would want you to be my farmer! Lol! Congratulations on all your wonderful blessings and May they continue to shower down upon you and your family. God bless. 🙏🏻🥰🇨🇦
What a beautifully written message Leanne! I'm just down the road from you in London and I love watching Kevin and Sarah and all of their animals as well!! I've been watching them for a couple of years now and never miss an episode. If you don't already know, another great channel to check out is Cog Hill Farm, they're from Alabama. Happy Homestead watching! 😊
@@suez5858 Hi Sue! Awe that's so nice of you to say. Yes I've been watching Kevin & Sarah for such a long time too, its amazing how far they have gone in such a relatively short period of time. How is London doing with all that's going on? I was vaccinated with Pfizer at the end of March and I've been sick for such a long time now so I'm going today to get tested. Hoping I'll get a surge of energy before its time to leave. Stay safe & well! 🙏🥰
You make everything look so easy but I know it's hard work. You also make it look like you really enjoy what you are doing and I think that is genuine. Thanks for sharing your lives with us. In these days of isolation it's a real blessing.
My dear late Mom’s name was Rose. She lived on a working farm and her job was milking the cow and helping to raise her eight siblings. My Rose was Italian and her birth certificate reads Rosa Annunciata which is a form of Rose Ann. Thank you for the nostalgia moments. Be well and happy!
Hi there..I have to say that I was surprised to see the milking machine to milk 1 cow! This comes from someone who milked many cows the old fashioned way! Not criticizing, just saying! I do enjoy all of your videos from the canning, cooking and all. Thanks for sharing your life with us.
When Rose was standing waiting by the door it reminded me of one of the cows in our herd when I was growing up. Calantha( Registered name) would open the sliding door on the milk stable with her nose rather than waiting.
This was so relaxing to watch. Thanks for sharing life on the farm with us who do not get out as much anymore. I love how Rose and Babe ran through the new pasture. Such joy! Thank you again.! 💙🐄🐖🐓🦆🐤🐔🚜💙
We have a bunch of those old flat gates. One way to mend them is to put a piece of wood on the back side and run some screws thru the metal into the wood.
I liked how you called the cows to come to you and how you let them decide when they felt save to step over the road, especially the calves. Yes it might have taken longer but it was so stress free for them, i just love it.
Love the homestead. You all have such great patience with the animals. I really appreciate all you do to keep the animals healthy. Haven't seen kitty in the picture for awhile.
Wow, if moving the cows was stressful, you truly are living a wonderful life. Loved when you moved Rose and Babe, them running, and the song “Born Free” running through my head. Happy happy, joy, joy. Continued blessings on you and yours. Oh, and a big hello to your parents as well.
YOU FOLKS ARE AWESOME! AND THIS WAS SPECIAL TO WITNESS 'ROSE' AND 'BABE'S MOVE TO ANOTHER PASTURE!! (CLEARLY THEY ENJOYED!). THE HERD LOOKS IN PRIME CONDITION AND SHALL ENJOY THEIR HUGE PASTURES ALSO! CAN'T BELIEVE THE CHICKENS ARE AT HARVESTING AGE ALREADY!
Oh that was soooooo fun I loved watching the cattle and the cows going into their new pastures the are so happy. Thank you for taking us along. Granny B 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️❤️
Hello ! Good to see a new video ... I love how comfortable Rose is with you both and how she looks forward to her morning milking. The calves are so cute and healthy looking, chicken and ducks all looking beautiful and maybe tasty too lol ... love the chicken tractors - very smart and no wheels are needed at all .... thank you for sharing your chores and day with us ... always nice to see the happy couple accomplishing things on the homestead xoxo
I'll say it again. You two are at the top of the list when it comes to teaching. I wish we all lived closer. ♥️ Have a beautiful and blessed Saturday.♥️
I think Rose was interested in where the other cows went. LOL. I always get a chuckle watching chickens, too. What a joy to share your beautiful farm and animals.
Thanks for sharing everything on your homestead? I love how all the beef cows were all right there waiting to get to the other pasture. And Rose waiting patiently for you to open the other gate into the larger pasture. God bless!! 💜
Good video y’all. Rose n Babe are a great addition , they’re right at home . Y’all are doing so good . It’s nice for me to have a cup of coffee on Sat. morning and watch my friends Sarah n Kevin doing their thing on the farm ! I love it...y’all be blessed and favored always 💖🙏🏽
Slick chicken tractor routine, guys. Do you go into your tornado shelter when the warning starts? Wonder what freeze-dried packets you’ve decided to keep in there....😋
I'm not sure what they do but we only go in it if the report says it is moving our direction. Sometimes they come down in the warning area and move away from us. We live in KY!
Oh my! How beautiful! MY DUCKS! I've missed my ducks so. Mayyyyybe, one day you will have MORE ducks and they will have their own house again? There was something just so special about watching them waddle/fly to their morning food. ALL the animals appear to be happy and healthy! AAAAAAAMEN!
Thank you so much for sharing the whole process of taking care of the Broiler chickens; and especially letting us share the whole process of moving the beef cows, and Rose & her calf. I treasure that video, it was just like being there. I’m so glad you didn’t condense anything; Like the news does , they fast talk two sentences, & then tell you to watch tomorrow at 6pm. God bless you both.
Thanks for sharing with us Kevin and Sarah, enjoyed watching you all working the cow so patiently. The chickens and ducks are doing fine together. Sure looks great around there. Keep safe and have fun too. Fred 🙏🏻🙏🏻👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👋👋
Love the new area you were able to purchase along with the home place. Beautiful fields and a large area and different lands they can go back and forth and rotate. Looks so peaceful and calm. Love it and the rolling hills of where they graze are just so so glorious and relaxing looking and feeling........I am sure you love it, I sure do. LOL Love that you are so enjoying it all and doing well with all that is on your plate. God bless
I harvest my first set of chickens on the 7th. I actually feel like I'm just going to do 10 a day for the next 5 days minus 4 birds from that Cornish cross tradition of some just dying. Thanks for your content. Stay safe everyone.
Hi guys, I find your videos so informative and just plain enjoyable. Please don't ever change. I'm a 66 year old Christian lady, I can't find too many videos now a days that are worth watching. Now I find myself looking for your newest videos. Thank you for being real, down to earth great people!
Your place is beautiful. I'm so glad you found a place close by the other one that gives you so much room. All the cattle look great! Won't be much longer for the chickens. You all take care. God bless you❤
I watched you put that door on that barn. You opening the door is a time moment for me. You two came a long way together just beautiful family people love the air keep posting. Big hugs!!!!
Awe what a beautiful relaxing place! That sweet little calf needs someone to play with! What a nice video and such a wonderful place to live and a great life!
It is spring. Just like spring here in OK, pollen, tornadoes, rain downpours, and wind blows ninety to nothing. AND the 40 degree temp changes - sometimes just between morning and evening.😆
You have really been working on your farm. I see a lot of new improvements, haven’t watched you for awhile😌. I would love to see an aerial layout of your farm to see the different paddocks, house, barn etc. Thanks for posting, you do a great job.
I really enjoyed this video. I watch them all, but this one had me smiling the whole time. This new property is fantastic for you all. God bless, Shirley.
Love the cattle 🥰❤ especially the finally of Momma Rose running and frolicking like Babe 🤗 absolutely precious! The chickens are in amazing shape clean, white, plump but seem to get around a great deal more than other groups of Cornish cross that I have seen! You all are fantastic at this lifestyle 🐂🐮🐣🐓🐔🦆❤
Thanks for bringing us along, that was fun. Obviously the work is never ending, but can be very rewarding in the end. Mama cow and baby sure looked happy running and kicking it up in the new bigger pasture.
That's really cool to see them so happy. I never heard of those feed bin and waterer tips before. I'm going to have to check out your videos on that. Thank you for explaining them again.

Rose is so eager. Its really cute
She’s hungry and waiting to eat.
That was so cute. Rose knew it was miking time. She just stood there patiently waiting for you to open the door. So sweet!
I love how Rose stands patiently at the door as if she's thinking "I wish they would hurry up. What are they doing in there?"
Right, such a good cow.
Lol that's what I was going to say it made me laugh especially when they opened the door to let her in
I was thinking the same thing! Lol
@@analarson2920 She’s such a sweet cow!
Rosie was ready to be milked. Where their bag gets full, it becomes painful. Milking is a relief

@@LivingTraditionsHomestead what happened to your hatchlings from a year ago, the round eggs vs pointy?
Rose and Babe are doing great! Rose seems like such a sweet and gentle cow.

The inverted bucket creates a vacuum that holds the water in until the pan water level drops to the hole to let air in and water out.
