    Hi David, this is a great review. Also, this is a testament as to gow big Blackpool really is. I was there, spent three days in the dealer rooms, and NEVER did see this! Here I thought I saw it all! Wow! Thank you for covering it! Thanks for all you do! Your friend, David

    Yes, everything in the trailer CAN BE DONE LIVE if you practice enough. However, it’s still very hard to do. I practice with it everyday and i still can’t do jumping glass and crushing potato chips. I can only do jumping pen. However i still believe the method behind this trick is briliant.

    The setup, or get ready, is very obvious and impractical no matter how fast you do it. It’s so bad that he edits it out of the first “full” performance. Specs will essentially know what’s happening if you do it in front of them. They did when I did it. Now, that said, just put the chips behind you or under the table or just turn away for some reason, and the trick is amazing. It’s an exploding chip on the specs hand! A magi’s dream! People will scream. They did when I did it. I like it, I just wish there was a more invisible setup. Gotta work on that myself, I suppose. Thumbs up. Good buy.

    I own this effect. Only thing to say is the angles and clothing items you need to cover the gimmick is pretty bad for myself. Like love levitation effects and this I'm never going to use. In the trailer the cameras is always far away but when you do the trick with a person it's super close up and everyone can see the gimmick if its up close.

    • @erickenney9507
      @erickenney9507 7 місяців тому +2

      Edit* when he shows you how to hide the gimmick in the video he does a really awkward move being his hand that he never does in the video demonstration which is always really annoying when trying to hide it for close up!

  • @PraveenKanwarMagic
    @PraveenKanwarMagic 6 місяців тому +3

    I have this effect, honestly I'd say its not practical enough to do often, you to do same setup for every phase of it openly. Effect feels too hyped. For social media etc you can do it. If you want to do for socials or its one of those effects you want to show something new & quick. go for it else you can skip.

    I dont want to give away the gimmick secret, but personally i dont think its that hard to figure out, at least i figured it out after watching the video and trying to recreate it at home anyway. I wish in the video he would have told you where to buy refill gimmicks, and specifically what brand/kind/material to buy. They dont. They sell the refill's on their website, the refills are $3 and unfortunately shipping (at least to canada from taiwan) is nearly quadruple the price of the refills. It's not worth buying them from their website unfortunately. I will prob try all my local office supply stores to find a refill that is similar. Until they at least let vanishing inc or penguin sell the refills because they have free shipping.
    That being said, I love the effect, its great, doesn't fool everyone but it has a powerful effect on people when it does.
    And as you said, the video is in chinese, so you will have to watch it multiple times between reading subtitles and trying to also watch exactly what he is doing in the video. Just a small point for people who havent bought it yet.
    Also for people who want to use this with glasses. I highly HIGHLY recommend you don't, and if you do, don't use the spectators. The glasses could get scratched on the lens from falling to the ground or whatever, they could actually break the arm on the glasses if they are not good quality, and frankly its better to just do it to a pen or pencil or other object, say like a fork or spoon (light weight ones of course).
    My favorite effect is the snapping card, i've done this a few times and people love it. It also acts as a way to hide the "Setup" on the hand as well.
    As for the chips, it doesnt work the same on all chips, practice and experiment with different brands. Pringles are the best as they are brittle and have a better shatter effect.
    And lastly, the tissue paper vanish looks INCREDIBLE, but I have not had success doing this in person, its in my humble opinion a social media effect at best. Its unpredictable where the tissue paper "ends up" and therefore not practical for real world use. It looks amazing though when it does work. Ive sent videos of myself doing this to people and they all think I edited the video.
    Lastly i think the price would be better at $20 usd, $30 is a bit steep honestly.

    Thank for the honest for clothing restriction part cus I hate magic industry try to sell and mislead the product by beatify their trailer and description. So bfr I buy, I also alr thought need to wear something instead of naked, but another collaborated company with hanson keep saying no clothing restriction which I hate a lot..., they may ask like, 'No need, but recommended' instead of 'There are no clothing restrictions with this' from V... company. However, I will satisfy this product since I alr bought and know what I worth to buy, cus I have an idea to modify it so I 'may' to do it naked and more practical later (Pen & Teller code haha). Anyway, cannot wait to play around the idea and perform...haha, still waiting the shipping at the moment...
