@@tallbastard Afterwards everything i heard (people talking etc) sounded like it was going through a fuzz pedal. I've never experienced anything like it before or since. It wasn't just the regular roaring tinnitus thing, it was like the way my ears worked had been *changed*. Really weird. Still no tinnitus, now, thank god, but i do have a bit of deafness, though it only seems to manifest when my wife is talking :)
I have done sound for a lot of bands over the years. The Cardiacs at the Marquee, circa 1985, was the most memorable. Utterly brilliant.
