If Zappa had a british contemporary, Tim would have been the man, I'm three weeks into discovering Cardiacs and after having music in my life for 50 years, I can honestly say my mind is blown to smithereens...
@@TONE11111 yeah, I enjoyed that, FGH is a monster piece to re-create...there's a superb fan tribute on YT well worth looking out, but I'd say you've already seen it..
What a band so unique and many people don’t realise just how technical this music is , just try to copy it and you’ll soon find you’re outta your depth . Very complex and yet completely beautiful all at once .
Oh just sitting down at a piano to figure it out by hear, you pretty quickly realise just how complicated some of this stuff is. Tims sense of melody is incompreensible. Your ear goes "This sounds great!" meanwhile your brains climbing the walls looking to escape the madness.
Someone mentioned Cardiacs in a reply to a comment of mine less than two weeks ago. I had never heard of them but decided to check them out and this evening I consider myself an official fan. It's like an amazing breeze of creativity I didn't know I needed. So intriguing!
This is so much better than the album version. I love Tim Quy's extra cymbal goodness. Cardiacs radio sessions are legend. It would be wonderful if The Alphabet Business Concern could gather them and release them on a CD.

Jims bass on this is sick. He really doesn't get the credit he deserves, but its just so good. Machine tight and straight up balistic in places
Don't tell him that timmy will be crying in heaven
@@stephenlynch5143 Whos Jim? its it him?
