“The Warning” are from Monterrey, Mexico, a power trio of sisters - Daniela "Dany“ (vocals, guitars, piano), Paulina "Pau" (drums, vocals, piano) and Alejandra "Ale" Villarreal (bass, piano, backing vocals) They are a great live band that has opened for Muse, Halestorm, Guns and Roses, and The Foo Fighters. The Warning also worked with Alessia Cara to cover Enter Sandman for the Blacklist album. They performed on the 2023 VMA Extended Stage. They have toured Canada, USA, Mexico, South America and Europe. They will be playing Wacken Open Air in 2024. Any song from the Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 08/29/2022 concert would be a great start; I love Animosity and for an acoustic try Revenant. Thank you.
That video has 25 million views because Metallica saw it and liked it. They liked it so much that years later they asked them to do an original arrangement for their album of cover songs called The Black Album.
They are very solid as musicians but uniquely talented as song writers. As they have grown as people their music has grown as well. When they switched from covers to their own songs they started as brighter pop rock, but as they absorbed influences they have strayed into everything from prog rock to metal.
I dare say they are probably the most documented band in existence. As even their very first compositions, which Ale wrote by herself at around 9 years old, exists for people to listen to and critique.
Also as they started as independent musicians without a label social media promotion was essential for them to build a following. That didn’t just mean music videos, it also meant vlogs, livestreams and interviews.
This is especially true of the pandemic era where they were supposed to launch a tour promoting their music including dates in Europe. Instead they were trapped in their home studio trying to maintain an audience.
Want to watch them bake a cake? It exists. Watch they play mario cart? It exists. Watch them sing Disney songs? It exists.
They have an amazingly loyal fanbase not because they are the most talented band in the world but because they are like the local band you watch grow up and root for but for hundreds of thousands of fans all around the world.
Just follow this rabbit hole. Choke is fine to check out first. But, if you want to check out what they are like live, look for the Teatro Metropolitan live concert. Pick a song or watch the whole thing. You can't go wrong with anything you pick.

All three can sing lead. You should see the drummer sing lead while playing drums like a beast! When they got older they opened for their idols Muse, the Foo Fighters and Guns and Roses. Invited by Metallica to rework Enter Sandman with Canadian singer Alessia Cara for Metallica’s 30th anniversary Blacklist album. Though very young, they are now veterans, who continue to evolve and still surprises me with each new original songs.

At the time this video was done they were 14, 12 and 9 respectively. They are now 24, 22, and 19 I think. They are the best rock and roll band playing now. Yep, they're fantastic. Despite being so young they already have 3 albums and about to release the 4th one on June 28th. BTW, Metallica invited them to cover Enter Sandman for their Blacklist album a couple of years back. I went into hearing them the 1st time with the same attitude you displayed, and now I can’t get enough of their music! I suggest their performance of Evolve at the 2023 MTV VMA’s side stage, and the 22 videos of their Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert in 2022. Their OMV’s are excellent, but they take it to another level “live”!!!😊⚡️
Just a heads up for u. U'll get tons of comments and info from TWA, however, given the timing of ur post of this reaction, it might be a bit of a trickle. They just dropped two new singles on Friday, and UA-cam is going crazy with reactions to them. It's spreading TWA pretty thin.
The recc's u have received so far r pretty good. I would suggest u start off with their more contemporary stuff. Once u get a feel for them, it's fun to go back and watch them evolve over time to become the world conquering phenomenon they have become.

I think that Dust to Dust live from Teatro Metropolitan 2022 would be a great pick to discover another side of what they are capable of, but honestly, any song from that concert is a must !
Thanks for your reaction. You’re absolutely right - if they were that good at ages 9-14, wait until you hear them now! They’re great in the studio but even better live. If you want an outstanding example of a live performance, look at their song “Evolve” at the 2023 MTV VMA awards. Subbed to follow your reaction as you see what they’ve developed into today at 18-23 years old. Apart from their outstanding music, they are just plain wonderful people - humble, empathetic (and funny).

The sisters were 14, 12 & 9 in 2014 when they covered Enter Sandman.
Kirk Hammett tweeted in 2015 - the drummer kicks maximum ass.
The Warning reimagined Enter Sandman for Metallica's Black List released in 2021 to commemorate 30 years of the Black Album.

You are absolutely correct. For a 3 piece to be successful each member has to be above average. The Warning have 2 generational talents in their rhythm section. And one hell of a multi-tasker on the guitar. They have 3 singers. 2 exceptional frontwomen. Their 4th instrument is their angelic harmonies.
Fun fact 1: On 22nd Feb. 2020 The Warning opened for Stryper at their hometown of Monterrey in Mexico.
The 1st 3 songs were
- Dust to Dust sung by the 18 year old drummer
- Red Hands Never Fade sung by the 15 year old bassist
- Ugh! sung by the 20 year old guitarist
I am just trying to imagine what went through the minds of Stryper fans & their management present at that show.
Fun fact 2: In October 2017 when The Warning went on stage to open for Def Leppard, manager of the legendary British group was very skeptical about the sisters. After the concert Def Leppard insisted that the girls open their next show in Mexico City a few days later. Joe Elliott was so impressed that he talked about The Warning on his radio shows back in England.

They are from Mexico and as you will see for yourself, they have nothing to do with commercialized and artificially inflated bands touring the world.
Daniela, Paulina y Alejandra are the youngest veteran artists in the rock world.
Metallica, Foo Fighters, Def Leppard, Guns 'N' Roses and Muse are just some famous bands, some have shared the stage and have been very pleasantly surprised by TW's proposal, like all those who have sold out their concerts in the US. Colombia, Peru, Chile and Argentina…
In addition to Germany, Spain, France, Netherlands, Czech Republic and United Kingdom.
NO, I'm not mentioning the rock festivals, where they were also very successful, but where they headlined and were the main attraction.
Muse was so impressed by the girls, who opened their concerts in Mexico, that they invited them to continue with them on their tour of Europe and even in their own country of United Kingdom.
It's redundant to say it but they were also very successful.
Among their TW fans there are musicians, music producers, sound engineers, roadies, vocal coaches, etc., from all over the world.
Furthermore, and no less important, they are the first Latin American band to sign with a top international record label (UNIVERSAL).
And just superficially mentioning what happened at the MTV VMAs where they very positively impressed (impacted) the production staff and everyone who witnessed it.
All over the world, budding rock groups are covering the band, including Asia and Australia of course.
And that Dany, Pau and Ale are doing all this at their very young age and on their own merits.
What they did not do was stagnate solely in the field of rock in their own language, which is the "ceiling" in which other Spanish-speaking groups have always limited themselves.
It’s such a talented female band that does not “exploit” its sexuality, they’re educated, humble and such good human beings with a truly exemplary attitude.
This year they will play in several European countries in which several have already sold out and have even had to change venues in others.
And they will also perform at the Wacken Open Air 2024 in Germany, the most important heavy metal festival and at the Pol'and'Rock in Poland, considered the largest music festival in Europe and they will be on the main stage in this one.
This was just a little update for you.

* a concise history*
*_The Warning_* are Daniella, Paulina, and Alejandra, three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico... you'll see their names and band name abbreviated as DPA or DPA/TW... each goes by a nickname taken from the first part of their names... Dany for Daniella, Pau (like POW!) for Paulina, and Ale (like Ah Leh) for Alejandra...
DPA/TW started with music at a very young age... like 4 and 6 for Pau (drums) and Dany (guitar)... Ale (bass) was still pretty much a newborn... they all started learning and playing classical music on piano... as a family, they used to watch concerts on TV together... music has always been a part of their lives and they are influenced by many bands from years past... then came the game, Rock Band, which Dany and Pau played all the time with Ale watching and clapping along... Pau, at age 6, gravitated to the drums and Dany, at age 8, took up the guitar... Ale was 7 or had just turned 8 when she chose the bass... a few months after Ale started playing the bass, the girls realized they had all they needed to form a band and here we are today...
their 1st EP, _"Escape The Mind"_ (2015), is where their very first experiments now live... each of the girls was given a task by their mentor to write a song individually... then they wrote their first song together... all of these songs are on the EP... it wasn't even going to exist but they decided to figure out how recording was done and here we are...
their 1st album is _"XXI Century Blood"_ (2017) which showcases their early sound which is definitely heard in their music, today... the title song has an OMV which tells a story about technology among other topics... it was nominated for and won several awards when it was released... they are GenZ and this album is the world from their POV and some things they want to change about it... the whole album is fantastic! 😜
their 2nd album, _"Queen of the Murder Scene"_ (2018) (aka QOTMS), is a concept album... read that again... yes, 2nd album - concept album 🤯 it tells the foreboding story of a Queen in love with someone that doesn't know she exists, how quickly things can unravel, and go all much differently than one might imagine... it is a dark and foreboding tale of battles between good and evil over her very soul...
their 2nd EP, _"Mayday"_ (2021) was released as a prelude to their 3rd album, _"Error"_ , mainly to get the music out there... this was during the pandemic when everything was shut down and no bands could do any touring... they had a lot of material and rather than fretting about everything being shut down, they took advantage of it and put all their attention into getting their album done...
their 3rd album, _"Error"_ (2022), is their first album after they signed with a label... they were in negotiations for 7 months(!) before they signed with Lava... the first half of the album was originally released as their 2nd EP, _"Mayday"_ , because the pandemic kinda threw a wrench in things... they turned their attention immediately to getting the whole album out since they could not actively travel and perform... their Metropolitan Theater concert in Mexico City back in 2022 has songs from all three of their albums... all of the songs up, to this point, they wrote, composed, orchestrated, recorded, recorded, etc themselves...
their 4th album, _"Keep Me Fed"_ , is due out June 8, 2024... recently, they released four new and original songs from this upcoming album... those songs are *More* , *S!ck* , *Hell You Call A Dream* (aka HYCAD), and *Qué Más Quieres* which is their 3rd song in Spanish in English, the title of this 4th newly released song is "What more do you want"... DPA/TW have been experimenting and trying new things... if these four songs are any indication, this is going to be quite the album release!

for a trio, much less a young trio, this is fantastic! slightly different but a full wall of sound filled with raw power and grit... the child's prayer with Pau (drums) and Ale (bass) is beautiful and takes me back to my own youth and bedtimes with one of my parents coaching me along... the power of Pau on the drums, Ale's driving bass line, and Dany rocking out on guitar with her James Hetfield scowl are... whoa! then you think who needs two guitars when you have one Dany? 😹
also, i'll note that the wall behind the camera is a full mirror so all the girls can see themselves playing... this was done so they could work on their stage presence... the wall on Ale's (bass) side also has a window into the equipment side of their studio known as "The Warning Cave" or "The Cave" for short...

I recorded the Crazy Train track because didn't want to jump to far ahead, but then everyone was commenting about newer stuff , so I just recorded Evolve VMA 2023 and was completely blown away, I think I am going to do a new one and an old one moving forward. So amazing these gals have totally blown me away! With only 3 tracks at this point!

Oh, man... are you in for a ride. 😋 Always fun to see a "new reactor", and especially what is kind of their "original video", which was never really intended for broad public release (I'm not sure UA-cam even had a "Set Video to Private" setting back then) but rather was just intended for their grandparents. It "went viral", and the ladies (girls at the time) decided to leverage that random instant popularity into a career.
It's not like they don't work their asses off, and are truly incredibly talented... but this gave them an unexpected boost in internet popularity, which is rapidly becoming the only standard for popularity in these days of 500 channels one can watch on any and every device in the home. It's entirely reasonable to seize the moment when it comes, and they did.
There is so much more to say about this incredible group of sisters, but this post is already too long, and it's best left to be explored as you see fit - pick anything; it doesn't matter. Their story and progress up until this very day is both entertaining and captivating. You just can't really go wrong with _The Warning_ . As Paulina said:
