I suggest following record stores near your area on instagram. and then you can snoop new arrivals and run into the store if you see anything good! The same goes for record labels.
Yeah, records are gaining popularity in Scandinavia. I'm from a medium sized city in Norway, and pop up record shops have started to appear, the local "community" throws record parties 4-5 times a year with big sales from local vendors. Oslo has multiple shops and some huuuuuge meet ups as well.
I started listening to vinyl about a year ago by connecting my dad's new-ish all-in-one player to a logitech 2.1 sound system.A little later i went to my aunts and uncles, who have a massive collection of jazz, pop, blues and rock lp's. There, he gave me a copy of joe jacksons big world and handed me an issue of the "mint", a german vinyl magazin. There i read about the thingsifoundinrecords page. It is great and quiet funny to see everything from jazz-cigaretts to pictures with friends, i love it.
Just stumbled over your channel and Instagram :) Great list, a lot of people I am following, too. Excited to see what other videos you have, going to check them out! Subbed :) Much love from another vinyl addict from Germany, Diana
Hands down, the video was great and there was a lot of new accounts, we were unaware of. But you should have done more study on the gears they use, like stating all the turntables,A/V receivers and speakers used by them. We would really love to know which gears each of them use to get a good understanding of it.
Those mystery speakers of Cracken 1982's are a real enigma. I've done a search of the web for KEF speakers, and found nothing that looked exactly like them. I did pick up on a brand, B&W, or Bower & Wilkins, and their style of speaker more resembles what Cracken 1982 has. Even so, nothing matched exactly. It may be a model that is unique to the Swedish market, but that still doesn't explain why there's no evidence of them on the web. A mystery indeed.
Great video mr New, check out the dj guy who just brought out a new turntable made of cardboard, you have to put it together yourself and it has, wait for it. Yes your favorite. A ceramic cartridge. Gotta have it right?
You followed me when I was using Insta. I stopped a few months ago when the adverts became more invasive. I miss seeing pics, but I take comfort in being more private.
Awesome list!! Unfortunately, *Craken1982* deleted all his vinyl-related photos and the *vinylyorkies* account changed their name to *sadwhalevinyl* . All the adorable photos of Bandit & Fiesta are now gone! :(
All great account but how could you have missed Steve Kouta. The dude has THE MOST crisp photos ever. Vinyleyez, if you haven't checked out his instagram yet, do yourself a favor. Best stuff I've ever seen
Very well organized, but you have to look sideways at a 1mm wide edge to read what they have in their collection. (Can you tell I am not a fan at all of storing records on a bookshelf?)
It's very harsh here in SouthAmerica to own a huge collection. There is no vinyl culture; you hardly ever find an LP in at least VG condition, not to mention covers, which are frequently very damage. When you find an excellent copy of a used vinyl, your wallet starts crying. Very often, we save money importing vinyls. But import rules in Argentina, for instance, are very restrict. So, my vinyl collection growings' speed is looooow !
Big ups to Mio, shes a badass. Hopefully I'll be on your upcoming video "Top 11-20 vinyl instagrams!" Cant compete with vinylyorkies either...I think I should buy a dog.
Another great Scandinavian account is "VinylsAreForever". This account presents a big range of different music, as it seems, depending on the account owner's mood.
You mentioned some great accounts! Thank you for spotlighting some great people in the vinyl community on instagram. A couple other favourites of mine that I haven't seen mentioned are @record_lady and my friend @bradlovesrecords. Also, a shameless plug for my own account, @vinyl_ally 😊
The best hip-hop based vinyl account has to be jennyloveshiphop. She's not just a pretty face but also has a great hip-hop vinyl collection consisting of a ton of grails that any hip-hop lover would be envious of. Also posts needle drops, info about the album and what makes it iconic and also has vinyl giveaways quite often.
This video caused me to actually create an Instagram account. It still confuses me, though. It looks like it's just pictures, and I believe Instagram has the right to use your pictures for whatever they want without reimbursing you. That won't fly with my photography.
awesome video! i went and followed a bunch of these accounts! ✌🏼
+CaliforniaLuv84 awesome!! 😄✌️
I'm a big fan af ve
@bluspringtrap9 ur not wrong

+ZackaryVlogs MLG nice! Congrats on your new receiver!

+That Guy that stuff is awesome! As the saying goes, "they just don't make em' like they used to" 😂
Vinyl Eyezz I totally agree with you 100% on that one bud! 😄
Hands down, the video was great and there was a lot of new accounts, we were unaware of.

Do you have any Love Records LP:s?

The speakers Cracken has is a pair of KEF Reference 207. His are the first version and if you google them most hits will be the followup called 207/2
I once talked to Mio and melted.. I love her.
Great video mr New, check out the dj guy who just brought out a new turntable made of cardboard, you have to put it together yourself and it has, wait for it. Yes your favorite. A ceramic cartridge. Gotta have it right?
Cacciucco Records Limited That's the coolest!
thumbs up for OM !
I was just waiting until he would put himself at number one. 😁
Dude, the vinyl the dog is standing with his front paws on is a Halfnoise record. You should definitely check out Halfnoise
You followed me when I was using Insta. I stopped a few months ago when the adverts became more invasive. I miss seeing pics, but I take comfort in being more private.
Do you enjoy metallica?

Hvilken slags musik kan du lide?
@jenn_erator is one of my favorites
Cool profiles. But one of the best is missing: @vinylskauen !!! Cheers, @vinylsmidoc 😉
Very well organized, but you have to look sideways at a 1mm wide edge to read what they have in their collection. (Can you tell I am not a fan at all of storing records on a bookshelf?)
"Once described as cool" xD

Has anyone ever seen a record jacket that opens like a letter?
You mentioned some great accounts! Thank you for spotlighting some great people in the vinyl community on instagram. A couple other favourites of mine that I haven't seen mentioned are @record_lady and my friend @bradlovesrecords. Also, a shameless plug for my own account, @vinyl_ally 😊
these accounts are great
You notice the accounts with the most followers involve women and pets with records? Lo
Purely coincidental that your No.1 also happens to be the best looking female in the list, right? ;)
Instagram accounts like "thevinylday" and "vinylcollectionpost" always put pictures of scantily clad women holding records. Pisses me off

Please take off that OM shirt. I don't want to have to burn mine
I don't follow half of these people. I do like inertbird, stevekouta, prettyvinyl, 60's vibed_vinyl, vinyl ally, and etc. I'll check these peeps out.
Lisa anne thank you! 😊
Of course, most of these people will be Scandinavian. They can afford decent setups and big collections.
For the Metal Fan ladyevil6666 is good plus she's very attractive another good one is heightfiveseven another one that recreates album covers
I'm 9
This is cool too: instagram.com/thevinylday/
So you either need expensive equipment or model with album covers? List is weak as fock. Show the people who are real not just gram models.
