    Ran mine for the first time today for about 5 hours, no load. Really excited about this thing. Ironically, the power went out this evening. But only for about 20 seconds. Just long enough for my wife to realize I truly am a walking, talking genius. 😂

    Use a3 inch small windshield washer hose and push it on to the top of the spark plug then use it to finger start the spark plug. If it doesn’t go in easily then back it all the way out and try it again. Your chances of cross threading the plug is next to impossible. A thin film of nickel anti seize on the threads will help you the next time you change the plug. Be sure to keep the first couple of threads dry. This will prevent the anti seize from getting into the combustion chamber.

      @@Suds649 I find that setting in place and then gently turn it in the "wrong" direction to feel the threads when the plug drops. That's when the threads are lined up. Then, carefully, turn it with my fingers to ensure I don't cross thread it. After it's fully seated, by hand, I then use a socket to fully set it.

      Not me, I put a NGK in, oiled air filter, removed spark arrester, Installed a small, paper gas line filter between shut off and carb before ever starting my two 2020 model 3500's. Factory plug and spark arrester are zip tied inside unit if needed in the future. Great, reliable outfits if used as intended and not modified by people that don't know what they are doing. Don't make oiling air filter such a fuss. Simply place a few drops of oil on it and squeeze as B&S said in the 60's. The oil will migrate to all areas just fine. Good video.

    I'm finally buying my first ever generator. Since i want to use a PC during an outage, i found out about these inverter types. This model is cheap enough and has great reviews. I read that it will run 18.2 hours under a 25% load on a full tank. "25% load" That's talking about 1/4 of it's total output? I have no math skills. How many hours will it run under a 100% load on a full tank? I'd just be guessing. Thanks to anyone who knows. Thanks

    • @andrewmathias52
      @andrewmathias52 Місяць тому +1

      25% load is 975w (25% of 3900 running watts using gasoline). Another UA-camr did a gasoline and propane run test and got about the same for both fuels. He pulled about 1500w and got 12 hours on a tank of gasoline (~2gal) or about 12 hours on a 20lb propane tank.

    You should be putting filter oil on the air filter. Not motor oil. Filter oil will actually tac up and stop the dirt instead of motor oil being sucked into the intake because it never gets sticky...

    • @Woodzman
      @Woodzman  4 місяці тому +3

      That is absolutely not true. Engine oil works fine, I like many others have used it for years on foam filters it it does a fine job of stopping the dust, and if you are sucking the oil into the intake then you have put to much on it.
