in this video I am using a couple of custom made metal spreaders to create some an abstract painting with unbelievable shapes and textures using just BLACK and WHITE paints. This monochrome madness is further accented with a splash of metallic gold and a generous helping of metallic copper.

Ok I understand. I’m new at this and I’m fascinated and excited. Thanks so much for responding!
you're welcome!
My first time seeing your works (Mar 3/23). W0w, WOW, I am captivated. I have subscribed. I do have a question: Can I use acrylic paints to try to emulate your paintings? I am not very creative and color challenged. Acrylic would be easier for me to obtain and use. I would appreciate your input.
Love this Black and White composition❣️
Hi Barbara. Thank you for subscribing and welcome to the channel! Yes, you can do this with acrylic paint but I would recommend a fluid medium to add to them to make them more liquid - essential for the kind of paintings I do where I need them to be liquids when applying. Liquitex do a lot of mediums that you can add. That would be a good place to start. I wouldn’t recommend enamel paints even though I use them. Cheers. Ed.
Hi Swarez, you added something to your base paint in the beginning, what was it please? Also, is your base paint just a basic gloss paint, house paint or what? Thank you in advance.... you amazing artist ❤
Thanks very much Amanda - how kind of you! I use enamel paints that I have made for me so they are different to ordinary household gloss paints - that's why I have to wear a respirator to keep the toxic vapors away form my lungs. The mixture at the start is called 'Special Sauce' (nicknamed by those that watch the live streams) and contains four chemicals that I keep a secret. One of them though is a thinner, and one if a dispersant but I can't reveal the rest!!! Hope that helps and here is more information on my paints: www.swarez.co.uk/using-enamel-paints/
How long for that art to dry? Also It looks amazing
Thank you. Usual drying time is around 10 days
New here. Such thin canvas, how does it hold all that heavy paint?
It's actually quite a heavy weight of canvas at 420gsm and has a dense primer applied at the factory so it's surprisingly sturdy and robust when stretched.
I HATE abstract art....I ADORE that...! So creative ...so beautiful a result ... At last ...an abstract artist with talent ...and a great " eye "....Bravo !!!
Thanks Adele, maybe we might have changed your mind just a little about abstract paintings then 😊😊😊
This is very beautiful but pls can you give the exact names of the things you use for your special sauce ???
No, sorry Ebenezer - that is a closely guarded secret!
It's name should be The Platers" Love love LOVE the compisition and the colors!!
Thank you so much!!!
Enjoying how this was created. Lovely colors and tones of color.
Thank you so much!
most of what I am interested in is how to get those cells... its the same look when we doing the acrylic pouring, but how to get the same result with enamal paint is quite interesting.
Acrylic is straightforward but with enamels it requires some careful chemistry!
@@SwarezArt exactly this chemistry is the point of my interest. how I can know it?
@@ivanekvirkashvili373 use the internet to research - exactly like i did!
Very nice color palet.
Thank you! Cheers!
Your work is fascinating ☀️
Thank you! 😊
Love it! So inspiring, thank you 🙏
You are so welcome!
Qué bueno y hermosa es la pintura fluida cuando se fusionan los colores me encanta saludo maestro desde argentina
Muchas gracias María!!!
A brilliant piece very contemporary 😎
Thanks dude!
Cascading Symphonious Entourage! Awesome my Friend Just So Amazing!!!! Love IT!
Glad you enjoyed it
Can you please tell me what typeof paint you are using. Is it pouring paint or house paint? Did you add some type of flow medium to regular acrylic paint? And why can't we know what he special sauce is ? How can we try to do the painting if we don't know what materials you're using?
Hi Brenda. I use enamel paints which are specially made for me. S it’s not house paint or pouring paint. It’s a solvent based polyurethane paint that’s very toxic. I’ll include a link below for you. The special sauce is a secret. Even if I told you what was in it you wouldn’t be able to use it as I’ve designed it to work with my specific paint formulation so I doubt t it would do anything with any other medium. You can probably achieve similar results with acrylic paint but you’ll need t research what to add to them in order to get the effects you want. Hope that help. Ed. swarezart.com/using-enamel-paints/
Hello frySouthern California!!
I love your artwork!! And I love all the fun sound effects too! I
Questions…
What kind of canvas do you use?
Do you prime all of your canvases before you start painting?
Thank you! Cheers Vivian. I use a 3.2m wide, medium weave cotton duck canvas weighing 420gsm (16oz). It has gesso applied at thew factory. I sometimes base coat and sometimes don't - that depends on what kind of painting I am doing. Thanks for the question!!!
Absolutely love it! This is amazing and somehow therapeutic at the same time. Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome Mary - thank you!
Hi swarez! Unsure if you mentioned or I missed the process, but how does the galaxy effect/oxidising come about?? I honestly wish to achieve the affect but unsure how to get it....THANKS A MIL
Reading through properly lol, I'm guessing that's the special sauce you've described??
Yes indeed - a little special sauce was sprayed at the first drag point and that allowed the chemicals to move into the canvas as the paint was dragged. The sauce is a combination of four chemicals that only work with my enamel paints so you can achieve similar things with acrylics with additives like Flowtrol. Hope that helps.
Thank You.
Glorious :) TFS
Thank you! 😊
Soy mexicana y no me canso de ver tus pinturas, que son hermosas, amo el arte abstracto!!
Muchas gracias Mariana, ¡eso es muy muy amable contigo!
There's always something so outstanding about black and white abstract art. Love this piece!
I agree - and thank you very much for your kind words!

What do you use to thin your paints down?
Hi Beth. I use a solvent based mineral thinner - from the same family of products as white spirit if that helps...
Wayne's World reference was the transition noise.
Wow!!! Perfect!!! ❤️ 🇬🇷
Thanks very much!!
Pretty good 🤩😊 👍🏼
Thanks 😁
Awesome love it 💕💕💕💕
Thank you! Cheers!
Niiiiice 😎
Thanks mate!!
Newb here. What is the special sauce?
Welcome to the channel Dave - great to have you on board! Sadly, the special sauce remains a closely guarded secret!! Four ingredients - one of which i paint thinner but the others aren't for sharing! 😊
Do you sell your special sauce? ☀️
Swarez! Grateful for your commitment to art. Thanks for the inspiration. Would love a video on how to prepare to tackle a new art project. Thanks again for all you do. ✨👍
Thanks! How do you mean exactly when you say 'prepare for a new art project?'.
@@SwarezArt Thanks for taking the time. I am a fish monger. I’m working on a kid’s menu for the fish market and restaurant I work for. It’s a gift for them. I need to educate on love, family and conservation. I have a general idea, but it’s a new one for me. Even a grain of sand helps. Best wishes Swarez. ✨
@@juanblanco3059 I am probably not the best person to ask about educating people on a particular subject.. especially a food related one with an obviously strong message... Why don't you start with a creative series of title for each dish you create? incorporate messges on your themes - have a play with words to get people's interest and then you can carry your message from there perhaps?
@@SwarezArt Thank you. You’re an inspiration. I’ll definitely keep watching and hopefully one day be a proud owner of one of your paintings. I’ll stay tuned. 🐟

Here l am, first this time😃yes! Hahaha

What exactly is that special sauce?
That's a closely guarded secret Travis!! 😊
silicone, soap or alcohol. thank me later
@@yvesstohler3518 not silicone (it's an immiscible liquid with my paints), alcohol is similar, so that leaves soap. Whilst not a soap of sorts it is a component used in the beauty industry.
What's in the special sauce?
It's so awesome looking brother cheers!🍻
It's a secret I'm afraid!
Thanks very much George!!!
Beautifull fluidart 💕💕💕it's still a great trip !
Thank you Nadine!!
