- Axle to Axle 40", draw length 27-31", Weight 4.85 lbs, Letoff 66,70,75% comes with modules, Brace Height 7", IBO 330 fps. I shoot the Topont X40 through a chronograph with three different arrows. I discuss how the bow feels to draw. How it compares to other target bows. I then go back to 18m and shoot to see how forgiving the bow is to shoot.
At $1400 price point in the market I discuss how the Topoint X40 compares to other bows in the market.

I admire so much that you are able to shoot such good groups without peep sight on!
Consistent anchor point is the key.
At my local club there are 2 types of shooters, the ones who shoot for fun and the ones who shoot to win. The fun shooters sling a few arrows, drink a few beers and have a nice Sunday. The ones who shoot to win, show up at 7am and shoot til 10, then they shoot the round and if they’re not in the top 3 scores for the day, they’ve had a crap morning. I’m somewhere in the middle. I train a couple days a week and shoot on a Sunday from 8am, shoot the round at 10 and if I don’t break any arrows, it’s been a good day. If I’m in the top 5 of scores for the round, I’ve had a great day. There’s fun and then there’s enjoyment. Shooting a round with my friends is fun but striving for improvement is enjoyable.
I love this channel “yes, I sell gear and promote archery. No, gear doesn’t make you a professional. Yes, it’s 99% skill, 1% gear. GO PRACTICE!!!”
Does take work. I decided to shoot recurve. So took my daughters Samik sage 40 lb shot 10000 at 10 meters. 10000 more at 12. 10000 more at 14. Length of my garage. String wore out. Went to 50 10000 more. 60 lb 10000 more . Then my super Kodiak 65 lbs. nope not 10000 too hard but shoots straight. 40 shots and I’m done. Way harder to pull than Samik sage at 60
Good rundown, thanks!
And Nice Shooting!!
Thank you for your insight and upfront opinion for me it’s appreciated
I hear you on stocking target bows, but the demand just isn't there compared to the hunting side for us shop owners. Somewhere close to 4 million bowhunters in the states. Maybe 1/4 to 1/3 that number in Australia? So in turn my stock for target is a bout 1/4 what my stock is for hunting, if not a little less. Especially in the northern states where we don't have as much target action by way of 3D and outdoor because the weather is in the snow and below freezing predominantly 6 months out of the year.
Love your channel, dude!!
Keep up the good work!!

Nailed that one. NO target bows in US amd it ia aggravating. Some of us do not "hunt" for many reasons and getting a target bow is difficult. So we fulfill their idea and buy a hunting bow to target shoot with.
It seems we have lost our adulthood ability to share differing opinions.
We are too busy trying to forve our ideals on others.
Don't get discouraged, some of us REALLY enjoy your videos.
I am older and shoot alone a lot to keep healthy. your videos are watched, repeatedly and i always pick tidbits up.
good looking bow, loving the two color :)
As always great video Steve...form's looking good. Would be interesting to see the bow fully setup, and you shooting a score. As for the other chap, sounds like a grumpy old man, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. There are far more important things in life, like good health, you've had first hand experience of this. Look at what's going on in the world at the moment, people have gone crazy and his worried about someone else's opinion relating to a sport? You got to feel sorry for him. Keep up the good work.
In every sport you get social setups and competitive setups. If you want to strive for the top its hard work, full stop.
I think that it is a very nice target bow at a good price.
These guys are getting really good. All they need is an innovative tuning method and better strings... Then they'll really be sweeping up the market as US bows just ramp up in price.
not for 1400 bucks. try to get that china company to warrenty anything, you will be sol
@@donlucas3462 according to Steven he’s never had to warranty a topoint product
Enjoyed this, sounds like I would consider this, am currently wondering about a current model PSE Lazer at a vaguely similar price with very slightly more bells and whistles possibly (I like the option of the grip angle)
End up getting the topoint or the pse? Both are at a great price point.
Why is this the only video source for Topoint archery supplies?
Brilliant stuff ...keep up the good work! Is Martin archery dead ?
Hello. I have a question? What are the two bolts next to the main limbs bolt for?
is the x40 worth the extra money over the reliance?
Bling wise it's pretty damn nice & a smooth draw makes it perfect for the accasional compound shooter like me.
When is the next shipment of PSE gear getting there?

Can you review an American Indian Comanche short bow
How would he get one of those? He’s halfway on the other side of the planet. Geez!
You want what?
You want it when?
😂
I must be really weird... Of the 7 bows i own, one of them is a compound target bow, and two of them are recurve target bows😂
Welcome to America. You can't have a different opinion or point of view. You used to be able to have different political views, etc
Not anymore. If you don't think the way someone else thinks you're longer friends or colleagues, etc. It's absolutely crazy what's happening here.
I have my views, I don't give a shit what others think or believe, but I damn sure won't change mine to save a friendship nor a family relationship that shows no spine.
This is sad. I do have point of views, but maybe I'm wrong or I can improve them, so I like hearing other people's PoV and discuss with them. And if they are willing to change their PoV, so I am willing. Only through looping thinking, discussionvalidating can you develop a better PoV. Having a static PoV is so sad. We have to improve ourselves, and this needs some ease.
You can have different options and still be friends/family. If someone changed their opinion to remain friends with me i wouldn't want to know them. @jamietwigg4845
Shame.
I'm not a fan of shoot thru risers.
Why?
He’s a coward to threaten litigation against you for an opinion. That’s what’s wrong with the world today and was caused by cowards in the US judicial system. They are afraid to tell people that their lawsuit’s are nonsense.
Lawfare needs to stop. Stupid litigation should result in a penalty of some sort. Lawyers are hated worldwide... and there's a reason!!
