Finally, my type of epic music. Don't get me wrong, I love the rest but I've been looking for some that had more percussion and beat to it

With a roar the two gunships lifted back into the chill sky. They turned their blunt snouts westward and powered away from the drop site. Nineteen men made final checks on their weapons and adjusted their webbing for the coming mission. Remi, meanwhile, raised her modified SR-25 and sighted down the weapon into the valley below. No sign of the enemy.
"First Squad, form up on Sergeant Connelly." she said, her eyes still fixed on the valley through the lens of her targeter. "Second Squad, with me."
The ten soldiers of First Squad moved out of the group, Sargent Connelly making inspections before the descent. Remi nodded to him.
    "Move out." She ordered.
The ten man squad began to make it's way down the gentle mountain slope toward the valley. Meanwhile, Remi turned to her own squad. They were a mixed group, these two fireteams. Whereas Connelly had selected an assault squad to storm the enemy camp's front gate, Remi had drawn her soldiers from the brigade's recon and demolitions sections. There were two other snipers besides Remi and each carried the length of an M24 bolt-action. They were both chambered for .338 LAPUA rounds for range and stopping power, and were the squad's designated marksmen. A rifleman who worked as their team spotter, stood beside them, calibrating his gear. Remi's own spotter Jacob stood at her shoulder. Though he spent most of his time with his eyes glued to a scope, helping Remi pick off targets, he carried the bulk of an M249 LMG in case things turned ugly. The other five were Sergeant Rann and his men. Each carried a small arsenal of incendiary and high-explosive devices, in addition to their snub nosed submachine guns.
"Ready or not, here we come." Remi muttered through the skull faced mask covering her nose and mouth. Her squad moved out, flanking northward, out onto the ridgeline overlooking the valley below.
The plan had been simple enough. Connelly would lead a charge to draw the enemy to one side of the camp. Remi's snipers would provide cover fire from the high ground, and Remi herself, along with Jacob, would guide Rann's men to their strike points. Her weapon was short scoped so she could fight more effectively on the move, but it meant that her long-range effectiveness would be hampered somewhat, and she would have to rely on the other snipers for tactical updates. Connelly's force was already halfway to the camp. They needed to get into position and soon.
She found what she was looking for a moment later. A large escarpment, broad, and with a long flat edge overlooking a cliff face on the camp's northmost side. The snipers and their spotter took up their positions. The rocky lip of the escarpment was wide enough that each man would have enough room to displace and take a new position if they were spotted. Remi gave them orders to cover Connelly and report any unusual enemy movements. Then she led Jacob and Sargent Rann's squad down the other side of the rough, rocky hillside.
"Eyes and ears," came a voice in her ear-bead. "It's about to get rowdy." It was Connelly. His men had reached their first attack position. Remi could hear a grenade launcher being primed in the background as Connelly reported his squad's final disposition, and requested permission to engage.
"Granted." Remi said emotionlessly, as she raised her short-scoped rifle and peered through the trees to the camp's front gate entry point. The enemy were relaxed. No one had spotted either squad as they'd maneuvered through the valley. There was brief pause, like the calm before a storm.
Then the camp's gatehouse disappeared in blazing cloud of fire and shrapnel. Three men died in that blast, and every soldier in the camp was suddenly on full, panicked, alert. Remi watched for a moment as Connelly's squad moved and fired. Flawlessly advancing and dropping targets as they went. It would not last but it was not meant to. More men rushed toward the demolished gate. And soon a hail of bullets was being unleashed in retaliation for the surprise attack.
"Move quickly," Remi snapped "We don't have much time."
She and her squad advanced. As they did so she could hear the periodic crack of the sniper rifles on the ridgeline above her, the team's spotter relaying a constant stream of tactical data. Connelly's men would be hunkering down now, trying to draw the enemy closer and bog them down in a protracted firefight. Remi needed to get her sappers in and out before the other team was overwhelmed. The last fifty meters to the camp was open field. Staying as low as possible the seven man squad sprinted for the cover of a low sided bunker. They reached it without incident, and Remi issued her orders.
"Plant the charges, then get back here. We will cover you." she said nodding to Jacob who was priming his light machine gun. Sargent Rann nodded and gave hand signals to the rest of his men. They all nodded back in unison and spread out. Each one moved carefully and, without firing a shot, or being spotted by the enemy they rigged the fuel pumps, munitions dump, and the camp's communications array. It took less than ten minutes.
Sargent Rann signaled that the job was finished. His men broke cover and sprinted back to Remi. She let out a gentle breath as she also stepped from cover, Jacob at her flank. She sighted once more down her rifle and centered her crosshairs on the back of a man's head, an officer of some kind. He was bellowing orders as he tried to organize his disoriented men. She opened fire. Semi-automatic sniper fire ripped into the enemy. The officer's head disappeared in a red fog. As his limp body fell, the other's began to react to the new threat. Then Jacob squeezed the trigger of his M249. Dozens of .30 caliber rounds, accompanied by the the concentrated fire of Rann's men and their submachine guns shredded enemy soldiers as they tried to figure out what was happening and where their attackers were.
Remi smiled beneath her mask. This was the Art of War, and she was a master of it. The enemy was in disarray, caught between three bases of fire. But it was time to leave. She issued orders for all squads to begin their withdrawal. Connelly confirmed, and his men ceased their advance and started pulling back from the engagement amid a hail of grenades, thrown to cover the retreat. Any enemy foolish enough to try and pursue them through the smoke and haze was cut down by disciplined sniper fire still raining on them from the ridge. Her squad ceased fire and broke into a sprint as they made for the cover of the treeline. Once there she confirmed Connelly's position before turning to Rann and nodding. The old sergeant grinned and flipped open the detonator in his hand.
He gave her a quizzical look, as if to confirm the order. Remi nodded again. Rann blew the charges and whole swathes of the camp vanished in pyrotechnic fury. Impact charges blew the fuel pump into the sky, and sent burning petroleum in every direction. Men were drenched in the putrid burning fuel and died writhing in agony as they were choked and roasted alive. Their munitions went next, and a cascade of secondary explosions and cooked-off ammo scythed down enemy troops like stalks of corn. Last was the comms tower. A charge smashed it's supports and sent it toppling into the middle of the camp, crushing panicked men as they ran to find safety from the nightmare Remi had unleashed upon them.
She watched most of this happen in small glimpses taken through her scope as she climbed back up the ridgeline. She retrieved the rest of her squad and they all made for the rally point.
Today had been a good day, she thought, as her squad hurried off the ridge and back on to the slope heading southwest.
"Commander?" It was Jacob, dutifully awaiting his senior officer. Remi took one last look through her rifle's scope, nodded in satisfaction at a job well done, and turned.
    "Let go home Jacob"
