- i swore i would never do this one but i decided to stop being stubborn since a lot of other people have requested it and it seemed like fun. i'm pretty proud of the harmonies and piano and such in this one (even though the piano sounds a little similar to hey there delilah but shhh) so i really hope you guys like it and it doesn't disappoint :)

Fun fact about this song: its about the lead singer (thom yorke) having such low self confidence that he ends up stalking someone, then getting drunk to try and talk to her. He ended up scareing her away and wrote this song. That same girl actualy showed up to one of their shows. She obviously didnt know the song was about her but thom was MORTIFIED
Thus, they hate the song (not to mention that he is no longer in that mindset)
On the next album they released (the bends) the song 'my iron lung' is actually about creep, sure, it got them popular, but they felt like they were constricted by the song

Creep is one of my favorite songs from Radiohead, it’s sad that they felt that way about it.
To me this sounds like someone running away from their home in order to find happiness and peace. On the trip they reconsider their decision, until they remember their family and peers always picking on them, calling them a creep and saying they don’t belong. At the end of the song it sounds like another person (perhaps a friend) reminiscing about the time they spent together and wishing their friend wouldn’t have left them behind
