    EVS bible review.
These 2 ESV bibles are my absolute favorite. One is great for studying, journaling, and note taking, and the other is great for travel and casual reading. In this video I review both of them for you to see what they look like and how I use them.
ESV Single Column Journaling Bible (Mocha, like mine)

ESV Single Column Journaling Bible (TruTone, Brown/Cordovan, Portfolio Design) - amzn.to/46V6XI1
ESV Single Column Journaling Bible, Large Print (Buffalo Leather)
    amzn.to/3Ucdk6Q
ESV Single Column Journaling Bible, Large Print (TruTone, Burgundy)
    amzn.to/48fLUkA
    ESV Thinline Bible (Buffalo Leather)

I've had a bible with a wide margin like your larger one, and I loved it for taking notes. Mine had an open space, but yours has the luxury of lines so your notes don't sprawl all over the page!

    Mine are:
    * For casual reading: the ESV Reader's Bible and the ESV Heritage Bible (an affordable TruTone Heritage will be released in Feb 2024).
    * For in-depth study: the ESV Study Bible on Logos Bible which allows me to use the ESV Study Bible alongside other translations, commentaries, with access to the original Hebrew and Greek, along with Hebrew and Greek lexicons (e.g. HALOT, BDAG), etc.
    😊

I should probably get a journaling Bible... I make small notes in my small margins, but sometimes expand on them in my notebook and annotate the page/date in my Bible, but that adds an additional layer of friction if I want quick reference. I also transitioned to ESV a couple years ago and enjoy it.

I've loved my journaling Bible, it's neat to see all the notes collected over time.

The only issue is that the ESV is not a go to translation. 1995 NASB is more appropriate not a preference.

Love the 95 NASB too. I’ve always said the best one is the one that you will read and apply.

While pretty has the following huge problem. If you love God’s word then you would use traditional text. If the Greek compilation or translations you use take Jesus’ Deity out of 1TIMOTHY 3:16 and John 3:16 or make Jesus lie to his brothers in John chapter 7 concerning going to the feast then that is not traditional text.
Modern Bible translators translate from a corrupted set of codexes which jesuits, catholics and satanists compiled. They worked to replace reliable codexes to translate from, instead using Codex Sinaiticus which was created in the 1800’s which they pass off as the oldest and best “old” Bible; Sinaiticus, they claim is 1500ish years older than it truly is. Then there is codex Alexandrinus which “appeared” about ten years after KJV 1611 was published, and codex Vaticanus which appeared in the Vatican around the 1400’s and was rejected by the scholars that worked on the KJV.
Not every verse in scripture was changed but there are changes throughout. In a nutshell, handing Bible Translators something “messed up” to translate “from” makes whatever they translate “to” wrong from the start.

You have probably looked into this way more than I have. However, at the end of the day a good translation is a translation you will read. Love KJV and use it for studying, just a hard to read daily for me.
