As someone who has been coping with zoo thanos deck even before marvel boy the mind stone change is such a huge win. I think goose should always be in thanos deck, the space stone thanos or mockingbird in goose lane is just too good imo

I agree. I love the direction he is going but it's still incomplete. If someone plays a Spider-ham turn 1 or a location that restricts the amount of cards you can play you're fucked. I tried turning Thanos into a 0/10 pig with Mobius but it's so inconsistent.

yeah but the reason they implemented that was because people were ignoring thanos and just using the stones yes, people still do that, but i think it’s a good idea to always have thanos as an alternate win condition. not only that, but the stones have been redesigned around having thanos from the beginning, so those would have to be reverted if they were to remove the start in hand thing
Mindstone helps but his building will always be awkward if they keep ongoing attached to one cost cards. That takes up a lot of space and is killmonger bait. An idea I’ve seen floating around is to give Thanos the gauntlet to protect the stones/merge, and also having each stone give him +1 or 2 per stone played. He’s still not quite there but getting closer. Also he needs to change places in hand randomly so he’s not instantly boned by spider ham
you should just buy cards if they seem like a play style you like, not based on strength. they have a consistent pattern of buffing every bad card and nerfing every good card
Alex your probably not gonna see this, but I have a solution for Angel. Keep it a 2/3 where if the card is destroyed or discarded it will change to Archangel, +2 power flying to a losing location from the hand or deck. He would actually see play with those stats in ability in both destroy and discard. Really love your Archangel idea and wanted to expand on it! Happy Snapping!

Hey Alex, I've seen a brew floating around: using Loki + Marvel Boy + Thanos + Beast. In theory, the stones could help you draw the cheap Loki cards faster. I'd love to see your thoughts on this. The concept is exciting, but I think in practice you run out of playable room before you can really pop off.
I want to try that Howard deck so bad. RNG doesn't want me to be happy. I have the keys for Lad. But I am 4.9K CL and no Howard yet. And he's been S3 for a while now. Knowing my luck he'll be the last S3 card I get. I really hope the next OTA removes the stipulation that Thanos has to be in your opening hand. Then we can really enjoy Thanos' return.

WhT about a combo Thanos Bounce deck. Would allow you to replay the stones for draw and let you swap out slots in the lane with potentially more powerful cards or even off a Bast play to pump the stones to 3 power before a Spectrum play
I’ve tried this but the problem is your hand gets flogged plus it just doesn’t add enough power. I wish thanos added power to all lanes if all stones were played.
I dunno. I’ve been underwhelmed in my testing. Just regular Gilga Zoo consistently put out more points. Less RNG draws. I lost 1k rank fooling around with Thanos. MB feels awkward to play

I wish I could play Thanos but he just won’t work for me. I find myself, a lot more than I should, going into T3 and still haven’t drawn a stone. Or just drawing the entire top end of the deck right off the rip. Thanos loves to brick for me when I run him. I just don’t get it. I have tried almost every version (zoo, on-going, etc) and it’s just that way in most games. It’s maddening.

Thanos is a card I have never been able to get my head around. Can never figure out what to do with the stones. May give one of these a shot at some point as I'm stuck in 70s at the moment and can't seem to get moving again
Thanos is easiest to try right now because they made the goal to actually play thanos after playing all 6 stones since he becomes 20 power and invulnerable. Stones to draw, and reality stone is situational.
Dw arishem is still good. The chances of you drawing Loki used to be ~19% but with the extra 3 cards that percent only decreases to ~17%, basically the same
@@mydreaminorbit9297no need to buff mobius, if mockingbird and other value discount cards take over the meta, mobius will slowly start getting slotted into tech slots to counter meta
they played around reality stone changing the location. Ironically, if Alex had just played the Ajax + Reality Stone he still beat the Red Hulk barring any major location RNG

Yeah every other 6 cost 10 power cards are so good, and the stones don't feel very good to play most of the time
